한방치료로 호전된 족부백선 환자 1례

Objectives : This study is to report a case of tinea pedis accompanied with erythema and pruritus, treated with Korean medicine treatment. Methods : A 26-year-old female patient has suffered from erythema and pruritus on her right 3rd toe. She applied desoximetasone ointment on it for a month, but the effect didn't last long and the symptoms got worse. After disappointing application of the corticosteroid, she received Korean medicine treatment including herbal medicine and herbal external medication for 1.5 months. Results : The skin symptoms such as erythema and pruritus were remarkably improved. Also, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) of pruritus changed from 4 to 0. Conclusions : This case report suggests that Korean medicine may have a role in treating tinea pedis with some skin symptoms such as erythema and pruritus.

초등학교 소프트웨어 교육에 대한 초등 소프트웨어 전문가 교사와 일반 교사의 인식 비교

Software education will be implemented in the field of elementary education since 2019 as one of the Practical Arts curriculum parts. It is needed to explore perceptions of teachers on the new contents, software education in the field. The purpose of this study is to compare the perceptions on software education between software experts and regular elementary teachers. They show various perceptions of software education upon available information and resources, goals, utility, willingness toward professional development, and relevance of curriculum. The results show that most of regular teachers perceive the lack of information of software education. And teachers want to improve their professional development on the areadivergently reflecting their various experience, backgrounds, and knowledge. Even the regular teachers who are not experts in the area show an inspiration of professional growth toward it. The regular teachers who had learned it during their under graduate years admit that the previous education is not enough to teach software education. Finally, the school is not well equipped with the hardware facilitation for students to introduce software education. 초등교육 현장에 2019학년도부터 실과교육의 한 부분으로 SW 교육이 새롭게 도입될 예정이다. 초등교육 현장에서 SW 교육이라는 새로운 콘텐츠에 대한 교원들의 인식을 살펴보는 것은 매우 중요한 일이다. 이에 본 연구는 초등학교 SW 교육에 대하여 초등 SW 전문가 교사와 초등 일반교사, 그리고 교원양성기관에서 SW 교육을 받은 초등교사의 인식을 비교 분석하였다. 이들은 SW 교육에 대한 자료와 정보, 교육 목표, 유용성, 전문성 향상 의지, 교육과정의 적절성 여부 등의 영역에서 다양한 인식을 보여주었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, SW 교육의 필요성에 있어 일반교사들은 SW 교육에 대한 정보 부족을 강하게 느끼고 있었다. 둘째, 교사들은 그들의 다양한 경험, 지식, 배경에 기인하여 다양한 형태로 SW 교육 전문성을 향상하기를 원하였다. 셋째, SW 교육에 대해 전문 지식이 없는 일반 교사들도 SW 교육에 대한 전문성을 갖추려는 열망이 높았으며 SW 교육의 주체가 되고자 하는 의지가 강했다. 넷째, 학부시절 SW 교육을 받은 교사들은 그들이 받은 교육이 현장에서 SW 교육을 하기에는 충분하지 않다고 인식하였다. 다섯째, 학교 현장의 하드웨어적 시설이 잘 갖추어지지 않아 SW 교육이 이루어지는데 많은 불편이 있을 것임을 지적하였다.

스테로이드 외용제로 악화된 알레르기성 접촉피부염 치험 1례

Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to report the effect of Korean medicine treatments on allergic contact dermatitis aggravated after applying steroid ointment. Methods : We treated a 63-year-old woman with allergic contact dermatitis on the both forearm, jaw, neck, chest with Korean medicine. Before Korean medicine treatments she has taken oral steroids and applied steroid ointment for several years to treat dermatitis, but long-tern steroid therapy aggravated her symptoms like skin pruritus, erythema, exudates or edema. After Korean medical treatment for 27 days, we found that the size of erythema was reduced, and symptoms like pruritus, exudates and edema were lost. We recorded pictures of changes on symptoms. Results & Conclusions : The symptoms of allergic contact dermatitis were improved. Erythema, edema, exudate were lost. Thus Korean medicine treatments are effective on allergic contact dermatitis and could be a great alternative to steroid treatment.

五苓散 위주의 한방 치료로 호전된 만성 알레르기성 접촉피부염 치험 1례

Objectives : This study is to report a case of chronic allergic contact dermatitis, treated with Korean medicine, primarily focused on Oryeong-san. Methods : A 43-year-old female has suffered from dermatitis in axillary, lower abdominal, inguinal and popliteal area for more than 10 years. She was diagnosed with chronic allergic contact dermatitis accompanied by skin symptoms such as severe pruritus, erythema, skin pigmentation, papules and lichenification, and by decreased quality-of-life. She received Korean medicine treatment including herbal medicine, acupuncture and herbal external medication for 4 months. Results : The skin symptoms such as pruritus, erythema, skin pigmentation, papules and lichenification were remarkably improved. Also, the NRS of pruritus changed from 10 to under 1, and the DLQI score changed from 29 to 6. Conclusions : This case report suggests that Korean medicine, especially Oryeong-san may have a role in treating skin symptoms such as pruritus, erythema, skin pigmentation, papules and lichenification in the patients diagnosed with chronic allergic contact dermatitis. Also, the improvement of skin symptoms treated with Korean medicine may result in quality-of-life improvement in those patients.

Miller-Fisher 증후군에서 나타난 지연형 안면마비 및 현훈 치험 1례

Objective : Miller-Fisher syndrome(MFS) is a type of acute inflammatory polyneuropathy, a disease characterized by abnormal muscle coordination, absence of tendon reflexes, and paralysis of the eye muscle. This study is to report a case of delayed facial palsy and dizziness in Miller-Fisher syndrome, treated with traditional Korean medicine. Methods : A 57-year-old male was diagnosed with Miller-Fisher syndrome accompanied by neurological symptoms such as right facial palsy and dizziness. He received traditional Korean medicine treatment such as acupuncture(including pharmacopuncture, needle embedding therapy, electroacupuncture) and herbal medicine for 17 days. Results : Each neurological symptoms were improved after traditional Korean medicine. In case of facial palsy, House Brackmann Grading System was reduced form grade 3 to grade 2, and Sunnybrook Scale was improved from 39 to 55. Also, other symptoms such as dizziness and headache was also improved. Conclusions : This case report suggests that traditional Korean medicine may have a role in treating neurological symptoms such as facial palsy and dizziness in patient diagnosed with Miller-Fisher syndrome.

초등 교사들이 인식하는 좋은 초등 영어 수업의 특징

본 연구의 목적은 ‘좋은 수업’에 대한 다양한 특징들을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 ‘좋은 영어 수업’에 대한 초등교사들의 인식을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등 영어 영역에 전문성을 가진 교사 12명을 심층 면담하였다. 본 연구를 통해 좋은 영어 수업의 특징으로 언급한 것을 정리하면, 1) 아이들의 상황에서 출발하기, 2) ‘학생들 자신의 이야기’로 확장・전이시키기, 3) 다양한 방법을 사용하여 모든 학습자 참여시키기, 4) 학습자의 영어 수준과 인지 수준 간 격차 줄이기, 5) 충분히 반복 연습할 수 있는 효과적인 장치 제공하기, 6) 학습자의 심정 살펴주기, 7) 매 수업시간마다 누적적으로 평가하기로 나타났다. 즉, 초등 교사들은 영어 수업을 할 때 ‘학습’ 자체 보다는 ‘참여’에 중점을 두고, 학습자에게 수업이 의미 있게 구성되는 수업을 좋은 수업이라고 보았다. 좋은 영어 수업을 진행하기 위해서는 학습자의 경험에서 시작할 수 있는 여지를 허락하는 교육과정으로의 변화가 필요하고, 교사들이 보다 자율적으로 교육과정을 재구성할 수 있도록 해야 함을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of good English instruction perceived by elementary teachers. For this study, a total of 12 elementary teachers were interviewed in depth. As a result, the following seven characteristics of good elementary English instruction were identified: 1) setting a starting point with children's situations in mind; 2) expanding and transferring the content into their own contexts; 3) involving all students in the lesson regardless of their English proficiency levels; 4) narrowing the gap between their cognitive and English proficiency levels; 5) providing them enough opportunities to practice and exercise; 6) considering their affective aspects; and 7) evaluating their achievements accumulatively. Therefore, the elementary teachers perceived good English instruction as the one which focuses on students' participation rather than learning the content itself, and provides them with meaningful experiences in class. Results suggest that teachers need to reconstruct the English curriculum so they could have a room to reflect on students' learning contexts.

초등교사의 영어교육 경력에 따른 영어교육 전문성 인식 연구

본 연구에서는 영어교육 경력에 따른 초등교사들의 영어교육 전문성에 대한 인식차이를 알아보고자 초등교사의 영어교육 전문성에 대한 구성요소를 추출하고, ‘초등교사 영어교육 전문성 구성요소’를 언어적 유창성, 수업계획, 실천, 지식, 전문성 발달 노력의 5가지 영역으로 구분하고, 영어교육 경력 1~3년, 4~6년, 7~18년, 9~30년, 31년 이상으로 나누고 각 경력별 면담을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 초등교사의 영어교육 전문성의 경력별 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등교사들은 영어교육 경력이 높아질수록 ‘교사의 시각’에서 ‘학생의 상황과 눈높이’에서 수업을 바라본다. 둘째, 초등교사들의 영어교육 경력이 높아질수록 초등 영어교육에 대한 인식은 ‘영어교육 중심’에서 ‘초등교육 중심’이 된다. 셋째, 초등교사들의 영어교육 전문성 발달을 위한 방법으로 초등 영어과를 기반으로 한 연구 활동 및 교사 간의 공식적, 비공식적 상호교류는 매우 중요하며 핵심적인 역할을 한다. 본 연구결과를 통해 초등교사들의 경력에 따라 영어 교육 전문성이 다른 특징을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 밝힌각 경력별 특징에 맞는 다양한 맞춤형 교육 프로그램에 대한 후속 연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to explore the different aspects of elementary teachers`` conceptions on the good English teaching at elementary school based on the five developmental stages of their teaching experiences. For the research, total of 15 elementary teachers having English teaching experiences at school were selected and interviewed in-depth. As a result, the characteristics of the good English teaching at elementary school were found as follows. First, as they``re having more teaching experiences their conceptions of good English teaching had been changed from teachers`` to children``s viewpoints. They attempted expanding and transferring the content from their focus on the English curriculum itself to more consideration of the elementary curriculum in general when they taught English. And it was very important and critical for teachers to involve in research activities and formal and informal mutual interchange among teachers since it helped to improve their English expertise. Therefore, this research suggested that reflecting upon their developmental stages in English teaching expertise they showed different characteristics in the areas of linguistic proficiency, lesson planning, teaching practice, knowledge, and staff development. It needs to provide the customized programs of staff development for teachers reflecting their developmental stages in English teaching expertise and to have further research on the area.
