손혜리(Son Hye Li) 대동한문학회 2007 大東漢文學 Vol.26 No.-
본고는 함경도 출신의 유학자 ?洲 朴琮(1735~1793)과 그의 백두산 유람 기록인 〈白頭山遊錄〉을 주목하여, 당주 박종에 대한 문학적 조명과 아울러 〈백두산유록〉의 작품적 성과를 확인하였다. 〈백두산유록〉은 함경도 鏡城에서 출발하여 18일에 걸쳐 1322리에 달하는 여정을 기록한 것으로, 출발할 때부터 그날그날의 여정 및 견문과 감상을 날짜별로 기록한 일기체 기행문이다. 당주는 백두산으로 오르는 여정 및 주변의 풍물을 사실적이면서도 유려한 필치로 자세하게 묘사함으로써 현실감을 더하고 진실성을 확보하였다. 더욱이 백두산의 풍광을 체험하면서 그 속에서 사물의 근원이치를 궁구하는 등 사색적이고 철학적이기까지 하다. 한편 그는 함경도의 토착민으로 북방의 산천 형세에 정통했을 뿐만 아니라 지속적인 관심과 애정을 지닌 결과, 백두산을 유람하면서 주변 곳곳의 형세를 세심하게 관찰하고 국경 수비사의 문제점을 지적하고 그 해결책을 제시하기도 하였다. 또 부역으로 고통받는 민의 비참한 생활상을 적실하게 드러냄으로써, 민에 대한 애정과 유자로서의 의식을 표출하였다. 이처럼 〈백두산유록〉은 백두산을 유람하면서 체험한 승경과 산천의 형세를 사실적으로 묘사했을 뿐만 아니라, 역사와 지리적인 사실까지 두루 폭넓게 수용하여 그 내용을 풍부하게 만들었다. 그런 만큼 〈백두산유록〉은 산수유기가 지녀야 할 요건인 情景ㆍ議를 두루 갖춤으로써 작품적 성과가 크다. 그러므로 당주 박종의 〈백두산유록〉은 백두산 유람기록의 걸작으로 평가하기에 손색이 없다. This paper is focused on Dangju Pak Jong(?洲 朴琮: 1735~1793) and his 『Paekdusanyurok(白頭山遊錄)』. Pak Jong traveled around Mt. Paekdu as a schloar from Hamkyeongdo and recored about it’s landscape.<BR> He started from Kyeongsung in Hamkyeongdo and it took about a thousand three hundred twenty two ri for eighteenth day. 『Paekdusanyurok』 is a record for travel which was written travel’s distance in daily, information and appreciation. and He guaranteed a truth and actuality by describing landscape around Mt. Paekdu with skilled touches in detail.<BR> In addition, he is even a thoughtful and philosophical because he studied a basic principle of things in appreciating landscape in Mt. Paekdu. on the other hand, he not only had many information about mountains and streams’ features of the north area as a son of the soil from Hamkyeongdo, also had steady interest and love about it. In result, he indicated problems in defending frontiers and came up with an answer after he observed things in Mt. Paekdu in detail and he expressed his consciousness as a scholar and love for the people by properly exposing a wretched life feature of the people that were suffered a corvee.<BR> Like this, 『Paekdusanyurok』 was realistically described a landscape and mountains and streams’ features around Mt. Paekdu and had abundant many contents with widely accepting even a historical and geographical fact. so 『Paekdusanyurok』 was enough to be called a excellant sansuyugi(山水遊記) that well had feeling[情]ㆍa scene[景]ㆍan argument[議] in which will be basically equipped.<BR> Therefore, 『Paekdusanyurok』 by Dangju Pak Jong was one of the most great work from among recording about Mt. Paekdu.

硏經齋 成海應의 敍事漢詩에 대하여 - 형상화 특징과 주제의식을 중심으로

본고는 조선후기 정조·순조 연간에 활동한 학자이자 문인인 硏經齋 成海應(1760~1839)의 서사한시 중 작품성이 뛰어난「田不關行」과「有客行」, 그리고「義僕行」을 중심으로, 그 형상화 양상과 주제의식을 논의하였다. 이 작품들은 ‘서사한시’임을 염두에 두더라도 ‘서사의 객관적 진술’이 두드러지는데, 이는 성해응의 산문문학에서도 확인된 중요한 형상화의 특징이다. 성해응은 그의 산문문학, 특히 뛰어난 문학성을 지닌 방대한 분량의 傳과 記事, 人物誌 등을 통해, 서사에 많은 관심과 특장을 지녔음을 보여주었다. 전과 기사, 인물지는 모두 사실에 의거하여 직서적으로 서술하는 장르인 만큼, 據事直筆의 기록의식은 성해응의 중요한 글쓰기 태도인 셈이다. 그런데 이러한 특징이 그의 서사한시에도 오롯이 투영되어 있음을 확인하는 작업은 의미가 있다. 이를 통해 ‘서사의 객관적 진술’은, 그의 산문문학뿐만 아니라 시문학까지도 아울러 통섭하는 형상화의 중요한 방법임을 확인할 수 있기 때문이다. 한편, 성해응은 사회적으로 소외된 계층에 남다른 관심과 애정을 지닌 바, 이러한 의식의 연장선에서 봉건적 신분질서 아래 고통받는 민의 목소리에 귀를 기울이고 자신이 직접 耳聞目睹한 민의 실상을 서사한 시 속에 응축시켰다. 특히 기녀제도와 연좌제의 폐지 등을 주장한 것은 애민의식에 바탕한 현실주의적 작가의식을 지녔다고 고평할 수 있다. This paper discusses how Yeonkyungjae Sung, Hae-eung(1760~1839) shaped the phases and subjects of the Chinese epic poem. The noticeable characteristics of his works are the objective statement and presentation of secondary figures in his Chinese epic poem. Sung, Hae-eung"s interest in the epic poem can be found in his enormous quantity of books, articles and written records on certain persons. As biograpies, articles and written records on certain persons are described objectively based on the facts, his approach to record the facts in his works is one of the essential features of his writing methods. Furthermore, it is an important fact that these characteristics are also reflected on his Chinese epic poem. From his Chinese epic poem, we find that the objective statement is an important method of shaping his prose and poetry.<BR> Furthermore, since Sung, Hae-eung had peculiar interest and affection in socially neglected class, he advocated abolishing the guilt-by-association system and Gisaeng system, an official system of hiring dancing girls for government officials at the time. He wanted to speak for the people who suffered under the feudal social order system. It was his intention to solve people"s agony in reality. Thus, he is judged as a realistic writer who cared for the ordinary people.
