        영화 ≪색|계≫의 공간성 연구

        The movie Lust|Caution, which was first screened in 2007 by director Li An, opened up many controversies on the day of its release. First, the main plot that the spy who was about to assassinate the head of the pro-Japanese government was in love with him, was more than enough to buy anger from the nationalists. Not only that, the film depicted their relationship with sexuality and thus sexualism also became the center of the controversy. For this reason, it was difficult to discuss the movie outside these two frames: nationalist view and sexuality. However, Lust|Caution requires a deeper level of analysis. Lust|Caution not only depicted the emotions of the characters delicately portrayed by the author Zhang Ai Ling in the original novel brilliantly, but also reenacted the city Shanghai in the 1940s thoroughly; this brought authenticity to the space within the film. In this context, this paper focuses on the spatiality within the movie Lust|Caution, and how the space affects the emotion and identity of the people in the film. In particular, this paper explores the meaning of the physical space of Shanghai in the film through comparing with the original novel. The goal of this study is to study how the spatiality (which includes both the notion of abstract space such as a space of a person’s psychological mind, and physical space such as various places in the city Shanghai) of the film contributes to depicting the power relation and the tense emotional tension between the characters.

        민족주의로 재구성된 난징대학살의 기억 ― 옌거링(嚴歌苓)의 ≪진링의 13소녀(金陵十三釵)≫에 대한 일고찰

        Yan Geling’s The Flowers of War is a novel published in 2011, based on true events that took place during the Nanjing Massacre in 1937. Though an article, author mentioned that as a “nationalist”, she had no choice but to write The Flowers of War. No doubt that the author’s intention was to imagine the situation in Nanjing at that time through fictional narratives, and to maximize the horrors of the war by properly placing prostitutes and schoolgirls within the narratives. However, it is problematic that the narrative of the novel develops in a way that values national identities. It is not easy for readers to sense the nationalist colors as the community within the cathedral is composed of people from different race, religion, gender and age. However, by analyzing the structure of the novel through Prasenjit Duara’s perspective, we can see that the community within the cathedral share a common status as a victim of Nanjing Massacre and share identical experience of enduring Japanese invasion. As a result a national identity is created within the community. In this respect, based on the nationalistic viewpoint, this paper explores the question of how the novel constitutes national identity through the Nanjing Massacre, and how it represents historical tragedy at the expense of women, and proceed with a more comprehensive analysis.

        한강수계 유기물의 시·공간적 분포 특성 비교

        The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of organic matters based on the distribution and oxidation rates, as noted according to the spatial and temporal variations from 2008 to 2016. Generally speaking, the Han River system is separated into one lower course and two upper courses which are the Namhan River and Bukhan River. The seasonal factor is one of the most important causes of water quality changing in both of the upper courses as a result of a few pollution sources. The concentration of organic matter was measured as higher in the lower course into which great streams with point and non-point sources were identified. According to seasonal variations, however, the change of the organic matter in the lower course is comparatively slighter than that of organic matters in the upper courses. The oxidation rates related to the BOD were 15 %, 17 % and 26 % in the Bukhan River, Namhan River and the lower course, respectively. These results could be explained that more biodegradable organic matter were seen to have existed in the lower courses comparing to the activity in the upper course. The oxidation rates of the BOD were noted as relatively higher in the eutrophicated places with phytoplankton. Therefore the BOD is one of the good index models to find the characteristic of the eutrophicated water. On the other hand BOD would not be enough to estimate concentration of refractory organic matters in the Bukhan and Namhan river. Consequently, both of the TOC and BOD are necessary indices to understand the identified refractory and/or biodegradable characteristics of organic matter.

        게이트 하부 식각 구조 및 HfO<sub>2</sub> 절연층이 도입된 AlGaN/GaN 기반 전계 효과 트랜지스터

        HfO<sub>2</sub>을 게이트 산화막으로 갖는 AlGaN/GaN 기반 고이동도 전계효과 트랜지스터(high electron mobility transistor, HEMT)의 노멀리 오프(normally-off) 작동 구현을 위하여 게이트 리세스(gate-recess) 깊이에 따른 소자 특성이 시뮬레이션을 통하여 분석되었다. 전통적인 HEMT 구조, 3 nm의 두께를 갖는 게이트 리세스된 HEMT 구조, 게이트 영역에 AlGaN 층을 갖지 않는 HEMT 구조가 모사되었다. 전통적인 HEMT 구조는 노멀리 온(normally-on) 특성을 나타내었으며, 0 V의 게이트 전압 및 15 V의 드레인 전압 환경에서 0.35 A의 드레인 전류 특성을 나타내었다. 3 nm의 두께를 갖는 게이트 리세스된 HEMT 구조는 2DEG(2-dimensional electron gas) 채널의 전자 농도 감소로 인해, 같은 전압 인가 조건에서 0.15 A의 드레인 전류 값을 보였다. 게이트 영역에 AlGaN 층을 갖지 않는 HEMT 구조는 뚜렷한 노멀리 오프 동작을 나타내었으며, 0 V의 동작전압 값을 확인할 수 있었다. AlGaN/GaN based HfO<sub>2</sub> MOSHEMT (metal oxide semiconductor high electron transistor) with different gate recess depth was simulate to demonstrate a successful normally-off operation of the transistor. Three types of the HEMT structures including a conventional HEMT, a gate-recessed HEMT with 3 nm thick AlGaN layer, and MIS-HEMT without AlGaN layer in the gate region. The conventional HEMT showed a normally-on characteristics with a drain current of 0.35 A at V<sub>G</sub> = 0 V and V<sub>DS</sub> = 15 V. The recessed HEMT with 3 nm AlGaN layer exhibited a decreased drain current of 0.15 A under the same bias condition due to the decrease of electron concentration in 2DEG (2-dimensional electron gas) channel. For the last HEMT structure, distinctive normally- off behavior of the transistor was observed, and the turn-on voltage was shifted to 0 V.
