        창의성 계발의 교육논리: 지식·문화 생산의 ‘이야기꾼’ 키우기

        This research maintains that there is an ‘educational logic’ which should govern all the procedures and methods of the creativity development. This educational logic for creativity developments has several features and each of them gives us significant insights. They can be summarized as follows: First, the concept of creativities need to be established along with two particular approaches. One is educational approach, and the other is historical approach. According to the educational approach, we should focus on public education as the primary source in which creativities are to be taught, admitting there exist various types of learning ability. Creativity is simply one of the effects that any genuine schooling naturally brings about. According to historical approach, we should make a systemic change from 'ego to be fostered by outside' to 'ego to pursue from inside', and from 'model character' to 'storyteller to create one’s own knowledge and culture'. Second, creativity is in its nature a universal condition of human beings. As we pursue our interests so as to extend the boundary of human knowledge, creativity keeps growing. Creativity is cultivated by total experiences throughout our mind-body as a whole, pride of oneself, love of immersion and communication capabilities. The communication capabilities involve intellectual achievements of mankind and products in the world of vocation. All children are potentially born with creativity and the creativity is nurtured by educational guides. Creativity is fostered through hidden curriculum of school, works better in the process of reflective thinking, and is finally realized in the historicity of experience, maturing as an achievement of excellent educational activities.

      • 입학사정관제도를 통한 전공단위 선발방법론

        I suggest to introduce the institutionalizing of selection by major unit in university, as a mechanism to systematically reform university’s educational system. It requires establishing the educational goals of major units in university. That will be an important opportunity to enlarge the educational capability of major units. First, in the selection methodology, it is necessary to take the principle of multi-step procedure proceeded by multi-assessors’ evaluation. School records ought to be used as ‘basic’ material, academic test results and in-depth interview as ‘important’ materials, and other records as ‘subsidiary’ materials. Especially, evaluation methodology including selection criteria and in-depth interview ought to focus on judging the applicants' fitness for majoring study. It must be designed to go by way of three or four step for classification of capability and be able to secure the specialty and fairness of assessment by major units. University ought to organize the institutional environment(personnel, material and cultural condition) for introducing the ‘selection by major units’ system, such as preparation for administrative supporting system including the revision of school regulations, the establishment of TF team for university’s policy reformation, the confirmation of articulation between high school and university, and the establishment of major unit’s educational goals, etc. Second, in the middle of the change of university’s selection system, major unit’s professors need to act as the main body of selection with admissions officers, establishing the assessment apparatus in department, and leading to research and develop a proper selection model. Major units have to take the responsibility for the specialization and fairness of assessment, and for organizing the mechanism to reconstruct major unit classroom. Selection system by university major units is justifiable in that this system will serve to extension of systemicity between secondary and higher education in Korea education, raising the educational capability of major unit, enlarging selection autonomy, and normalizing public education in Korea. The procedure of selection and assessment should process four or five steps classifying the various capabilities of applicants.

        계단형 배수구를 가진 원통 용기에서의 배수 과정에 관한 수치해석 연구

        물이 채워진 원통 용기를 회전시킨 후 배수하면 일정시간이 지난 후 공기기둥이 발생한다. 용기의 크기, 초기 회전 속도나 교반 속도, 배수구 모양 등의 배수조건에 따라 공기기둥의 발생 여부나 발생시간이 달라진다. 본 연구에서는 2 단으로 구성된 계단형 배수구를 가진 원통 용기에서 물이 배수되는 과정을 수치해석적으로 연구하였다. 하부에 위치한 배수구 1 단은 길이와 반경이 고정되어 있고, 상부에 위치한 2 단은 길이와 반경을 변화시켰다. 2 차원 격자계에 축대칭 조건을 적용하여 원통 용기 내부의 배수유동을 해석하였다. 물과 공기의 자유표면 모양을 추적하여 수위 변화를 관찰하였으며, 배수구 2 단의 형상이 공기기둥 발생시간과 내부 유동구조 변화에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. An air-core vortex is generated during draining after stirring a rotating cylindrical tank or after filling it with water . The formation of the air-core vortex and the time of its formation are dependent on drain conditions such as the dimensions of the tank, the initial rotation or stirring speed, and the shape of the drain port. In this study, a draining process using a two-stage drain port was numerically investigated . The length and radius of the first drain stage located in the lower part of the drain port were kept constant, whereas the radius of the second drain stage was varied for simulating the draining process. The simulation was conducted by considering an axisymmetric swirling flow for all cases. The declining water level was monitored by an interface capturing method. Further, the effects of the radius of the second drain stage on the time of formation of the air-core vortex and the internal flow structure were investigated.

        수능등급제의 쟁점과 복원

        The purpose of this study was to reexamine the meaning of the College Scholastic Aptitude Test (CSAT) rating system first introduced in 2008 and to assert that this system must be restored. The main focus of the original 2008 university entrance system revision plan proposed by the Presidential committee on education innovation was standardization of public education. The index for standardization of public education was the operation of a standard curriculum by all schools. The university entrance system had to be revised to make this possible, and the introduction of the CSAT rating system was a part of that. However, just one year after the implementation of this CSAT rating system, it was reverted to the former method. This was due to the Lee Myung-bak administration invalidating the revised measures after it assumed power. A CSAT rating system must be created in order to realize the functions of the originally intended university admissions system. The researcher therefore asserts that the CSAT rating system devised by the government of the time should be restored.

        대학 교육력 키우기의 실천논리

        The purpose of this study was to segmentally discuss the operational mechanism of educational capability in relation to the university education systems while asking questions about the educational capability of university. The discussion so far can be summarized as follows. First, a university is a place to improve educational capability. A student’s core competencies are secondary importance. When conceptualizing educational capability, it is necessary to include field resources in the university, the realities of students’ lives, and the needs of the current society. Second, the components of educational capability are ‘enterprise in coursework’ by professors, the administration of support that enhances the competitiveness of enterprise in coursework, and institutionalization of evaluation and feedback which leads to release and open educational capability to colleagues. These components should be strengthened because they interact to generate educational competencies. Third, the professor’s coursework should be based on educational purpose, consideration of the curriculum, and the principles of educational methodology. The administration of support in a universality should focus on reestablishing educational aims, reforming curriculum, innovating teaching methods, and expanding administrative power of support and finance in aspect of a university. The evaluation and feedback systems should inspect and give feedback on the functions and effects of the components of educational capability.

        중앙지향의 교육이주: 대구 수상구 고등학교의 대학진학 사례를 중심으로

        This study strans from the consciousness of problem: to describe and explain the pattern of Korean lives, conceptually linking migration with education. The purpose of this study is to conceptualize centralism that is associated with migration and education and to analyze empirically the process reflecting centralism as educational migration in the case of Suseong-gu. ``Centralism suggested by the researcher is used to explain the attitude toward a center-oriented life and a cultural pattern. Centralism`` produces derogation of region and reverence of center, and monopoly of political and economic resources by a special area. in the ``centralism``, the educational migration becomes a social problem that could not be ignored. Especially, Suscong-gu, which is dealt as so-called special education zone In this study, works as a way station for a center-oriented system around capital areas. By the result of empirical analysis about educational migration to the center, the students who live In Suseong-gu show higher rates of the admission of universities located in Seoul than the other students in Daegu. That is, the tendency of the educational migration with entering the universities In Seoul Is shown more dearly in the students group who get higher scores than lower scores group in the College Scholastic Ability Test(CSAT). This educational migration toward the center works by a variety of circumstances.

        대학 교양교육의 반성적 재고찰

        This study discussed a reflective reconsideration on liberal education in universities, and asserted that liberal education should be approached from a new perspective and conceptual awareness. The results of discussion are as follows; First, the perspective on liberal education needs to be changed. The researcher adheres to the fundamental perspective based on ’inquiry of educational validity’, ‘fundamental perspective based on the nature of university’, ‘liberal education as the effects of higher education’ perspective, and ‘liberal education as cultivating intelligent person education.’ These perspectives derived from the reflection of reality, where liberal education focuses on practicalities regardless of the proper function of university education. Second, the inquiry of educational validity mentioned before refers to the way of asking whether the education is educationally valid first, rather than what is refinement or liberal education. Also, the ‘liberal education as the effects of higher education’ perspective refers to the way that asks ‘what needs to be taught to be refinement and liberal education’. The liberal education as cultivating intelligent person education’ is not to cultivate talents but intelligent persons. Third, liberal education began upon categorical request in education, and basis of human cultures. Liberal education is developing creativity into liberal ability, and building cultural power, which is the basis of human life. Liberal education should premise educational relationship between teacher-student, and deal with problems of life as the curriculum. Fourth, purpose of liberal education pursues cultivation of ‘educated person’, formation of adventurous self, and transformation of way of life. Major variables that decide effects of higher education is ‘liberal education system’. Professor’s the reflection that design liberal education and the firm passion that makes an issue of humanism works as the ‘system’.

        한국 학력·학벌기반 연줄사회의 실재성과 그 이데올로기적 성격

        이 연구는 ‘○피아’ 현상을 단서로 하여 학력•학벌사회를 개념화하고, 한국 학력•학벌기반 연줄사회의 문화적 특성과 그 이데올로기적 성격을 논의함으로써, 한국 학력•학벌사회의 보수성을 규명하고자 하였다. 연구방법론상으로 ‘○피아’ 현상을 구조적으로 존재하는 문화적 패턴의 신드롬으로 발현되는 것 이라 해석한다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. ① 학력•학벌사회는 학력•학벌이 능력 및 인격과 동일시 되는 사회이며, 학력•학벌에 의해 구획화된 사회이고, 학력•학벌의 추구에 의해 사회문화적가치가 파손 되는 사회로 개념화하였다. ② 한국 학력•학벌기반 연줄사회는 학력•학벌이 이익집단의 네트워크로 존재 하고, 힘의 논리가 지배적으로 작용하며, 폐쇄적인 경로를 통해 유지되는 특성을 지니고 있다. 이것은 우리의 시민사회적 성장과 발달의 지체를 야기하는 중요한 사회적 원인이다. ③ 학력•학벌기반 연줄사회는 일 반 대중들을 탈정치화하고, 중산층을 탈사회화하며, 엘리트를 탈역사화함으로써, 사회적 전망이 사사화되고 사회 진보의 동력이 결핍된 보수적인 사회이다. 이는 학력•학벌사회로 인한 우리의 ‘정신적 지체’가 사회의 정체로 귀결된 것이다. ④ 정신적 지체의 문제에 대응하기 위하여, ‘○피아’ 현상에서 드러난 무 규범적 관료주의 문화를 차단하고, 공정성을 실현할 수 있는 정책과 시스템을 마련해야 할 것이다. This study is to investigate the conservatism of Korean hakryuk•hakbul society by discussing its cultural characteristics and ideological aspects. Methodology of this study is to reveal the conservatism of society with ‘○fia' phenomenon as a clue by examining real characteristics of hakryuk•hakbul society, and discussing cultural aspects of the social system and the ideological circumstances by class. Newspaper articles on '○fia' phenomena were used as proofs. The perspective of this study is a critical one viewing Korean hakryuk•hakbul society as a problematic situation, and regards '○fia' phenomena as syndromes of cultural pattern derived from the social structure. ① We conceptualized a hakryuk•hakbul society as a society that regards hakryuk•hakbul as an equal to ability and personality, a divided society, and a society where sociocultural•educational values are destroyed. ② The characteristics of Korean hakryuk•hakbul society which was constructed by networks of interest groups, logic of power, and closeness of social processes are the principal cause of delayed growth and development of civil society. ③ Hakryuk•hakbul society depoliticizes the general public, desocializes middle class, and makes elites dehistorical beings to form a conservative society. ④ we need to eliminate anormative bureaucratism and implement systems that can bring fairness. Raise awareness on the seriousness of the problematic sociocultural basis of Korean hakryuk•hakbul society, and provide educational•social policy implications.

      • 수능등급제의 쟁점과 복원

        이 연구의 목적은 2008학년도에 처음 도입되었던 수능등급제의 의미를 다시금 살피고 이것을 다시 복원해야 한다는 주장을 하고자 하는 것이다. 당초 참여정부 교육혁신위원회에서 제안한 2008학년도 대학입학제도 개혁방안에서 가장 중점을 둔 것은 ‘공교육 정상화’였다. 공교육 정상화의 지표는 모든 학교의 정상적인 교육과정 운영이다. 이것을 가능케 하기 위해 대학입학제도를 개혁하고자 했으며, 그 일환으로 수능등급제를 도입하고자 했다. 그러나 이 수능등급제가 실시되고 1년만에 또 다시 이전의 방식으로 환원되어 버렸다. 이는 이명박 정부가 들어서면서 이전의 개혁 조치를 무력화시킨 데서 연유하는 것이다. 본래 취지의 입학사정관제도가 제 기능을 하기 위해서는 수능등급제가 이루어져야 한다. 이에 연구자는 참여정부가 입안했던 당시의 수능등급제를 지금 다시 복원하자고 주장하고 있다.
