Methods : This study examined 161 nurses who have experienced to take care of patients for more than six months in the hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases. It analyzed the data collected by using the Pearson’s correlation coefficient and a hierarchical multiple regression. Results : Their perceptions on the nursing work environment have positive correlations with the patient safety management activities(r=.49, p<.001), and the nursing performance(r=.48, p<.001). The patient safety management activities also have positive correlation with the nursing performance(r=.59, p<.001). Conclusion : This study found that nurse’ perceptions on the nursing work environment hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases are the factor influencing both the patient safety management activities and the nursing performance, suggesting that administrative and institutional efforts for improving the nursing work environment are required to enhance more effective patient safety management activities and nursing performance than those in the COVID-19.

Data were collected on May 2020 through an survey of 143 nursing students. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. Results: The mean scores of ego-resilience, self-efficacy and major satisfaction in nursing students were 3.52±0.65, 3.42±0.54, and 3.82±0.49, respectively. Ego-resilience showed significant positive correlations with self-efficacy and major satisfaction. Self-efficacy was also positively correlated with major satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated a need for continuous efforts and strategies to enhance department satisfaction of nursing students through increasing their levels of ego-resilience and self-efficacy. The collected data were analyzed with a chi-square test, a t-test and one way analysis of variance. Results. About 42.4% of the subjects brushed their teeth three times a day; the rate was higher among female than male students (p<0.05). As for toothbrushing methods, 1st to 3rd graders mostly used the scrub method or other methods for one minute; 4th to 6th graders mostly used an up and down method or a rolling method (p<0.01). As for snack intake, 1st to 3rd graders drank milk, while 4th to 6th graders mostly had cookies (p<0.01). There were no differences in the PHP index regarding sociodemographics, oral health behaviors or snake intakes. Conclusions. It is necessary to create a physical environment in which children can brush teeth regularly. Oral health education should be focused on healthy eating habits and tooth-brushing methods among children in community children`s centers. Oral health education should be emphasized constantly.
