        환청이 있는 조현병 환자에서 백질 미세구조 변이: 확산텐서영상 연구

        Objectives To compare the white matter microstructure alterations in schizophrenia with auditory verbal hallucinations (AVHs) with normal persons using diffusion tensor imaging. Methods Thirty-five schizophrenia patients with AVHs and 33 normal control persons were recruited from the National Forensic Hospital in Korea. The fractional anisotropy (FA) values of arcuate fasciculus (AF), Broca’s area, and Wernicke’s area were estimated from the diffusion tensor imaging data of each subject using the Johns Hopkins University-white matter tractography atlas to determine the difference in white matter integrity between schizophrenia patients with AVH and normal persons. Results Compared to the normal control group, the FA values of AF (t=4.349, p<0.001) were higher in the normal control group. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in Broca’s area and Wernicke’s area. Conclusion Microstructural changes of AF are certainly involved in schizophrenia patients with AVHs.

        절도광(Kleptomania)에 대한 고찰

        Objectives Kleptomania is a disabling disorder, which results in intense personal shame, as well as familial, social, and legal problems. Despite its serious results, kleptomania remains poorly understood by the general public, clinicians, and the patients themselves. This study aimed to review the clinical characteristics, comorbidity, neurobiology, and treatment options of patients with kleptomania. Methods Domestic and international databases were searched using the keywords of “kleptomania” and “shoplifting”. The search included articles published until May, 2010. Results The searches identified 252 articles. After excluding those which were overlapping in content or outside the scope of this study, a total of 65 articles remained for inclusion in this review. In general, the onset of kleptomania occurs in late adolescence or early adulthood, and the disorder is more common among women. Lifetime psychiatric comorbidity is frequent. Patients with kleptomania experience a significant decline in social and occupational functioning. Evidence suggests that kleptomania responds well to both pharmacological and psychosocial interventions. Conclusion There is a need for mental health professionals to recognize and treat patients with kleptomania. More research into the etiology and treatment of this disorder, including studies involving double-blind, placebo-controlled trials, is required.

        자식살해(Filicide)에 관한 정신과적 고찰

        Background/Aims: Filicide, the murder of a child by his or her own parent, is a multifaceted phenomenon with diverse causes and characteristics. This study aimed to review the present state of knowledge regarding demographic, psychosocial, clinical,and legal characteristics of filicide. Methods: Domestic and International database were systematically searched with keyword o“f filicide”for studies published until October, 2010, in English or Korean. Of the 107 searched articles, those that were overlapped in contents or out of the scope of this review were excluded. Finally, total 88 literatures were included in this review. Results: The characteristics of the parents who committed filicide varied greatly by the type of the sample enrolled in studies. The results of the review suggested that little is known about the factors that confer victimization risk to children. The legal punishment was also different by nations. Conclusion: Given the range of capability of filicide, mental health professionals should be alert to the possibility of filicide in a variety of parents. A systematic and more focused research to elucidate reliable predictors of filicide is needed to better prevent these tragic events.

      • 성덕대왕 신종의 종각 복원에 관한 고찰

        A research has been undertaken in order to restore the original bell pavilion of King Song-Dok Bell. And the historical background and the acoustic characteristics of the King Song-Dok Bell were investigated. The proposed model of the bell pavilion which is supposed to fit with the King Song-Dok Bell was suggested on the acoustical reasons. Considering acoustic criteria of King Song-Dok Bell, the following models for bell pavilion of King Song-Dok Bell are suggested as follows; 1) bell pavilion has the concave cavity on the ground for resonance of sound. 2) according to the natural sound frequency ranges from 64Hz to 168Hz, it's considered that the bell pavilion is constructed with many rectangular lumber and timbers as column, beam rather than 2-dimensional panel. 3) board panels could be placed between the lintel and a middle molding of a wall in order to reduce the effects of sunlights and sea wind. 4) the roof structure shows the form of bell pavilion which could magnify the ground waves. 5) a rectangular or a square structure which has an odd-Kan are proposed. 6) concerning the roof structure, a form of Pal-Jak is supposed to nearly close to the original form.

        충북지역 향교 명륜당의 실내음향특성 분석

        The present study aims to investigate the styles of traditional classrooms and to discover the acoustic characteristics of the classroom. Acoustic experiments were undertaken at the Myoungryun-dang at the Hyang-gyos in chungbuk province, which have typical style of the traditional classroom of Korea. The background noise level is about 36.1dB(A) that is suitable for educational spaces. It is due to lots of noise is coming from the outside. Several acoustic parameters were measured at 6 ~ 12 points including sound pressure level(SPL), reverberation time(RT), definition(D50) and speech intelligibility(RASTI). It was found that SPL is reducing rapidly in proportion with the distance away from the sound source. The average value of RT is 0.61 second when classroom was empty which means the appropriate condition for speech. The average D50 value is 67% that is regarded as suitable condition. The average RASTI is 0.72 which is a value of satisfactory level. The result shows that Myoungryun-dang has good acoustic conditions with short reverberation time and high clarity in spite of the noises.

      • 저전력 전기보일러 제작을 위한 부품집약기술 개발

        Currently, the air pollution and the shortage of the fuel have been raised seriously. This paper investigates the development of the low energy consuming electric boiler using integrated components techniques which can solve the problems. In this study, exchange of the direct-heating system which is the usual method of heating style was executed with the indirect-heating system. Also, alternative solutions were suggested to enhance the efficiency with concern of energy. It was found that the winded heating coil gives high thermal efficiency. And the ceramic powder in heat exchanger reacts on the heat and plays the role of a second heating source. Finally, the circulation tubes of the heat exchanger expand the contact surface of the water. As a result, it was revealed that the performance rises the temperature to 18-20 degrees at the low heat capacity of the 4.5kW/h, Comparing the energy effectiveness with other fuel used boiler, it was found that the proposed system can reduce fuel expenses much less: 20% against city gas boiler, 35% against midnight electricity boiler, 67% against kerosene boiler.

      • 청주향교 명륜당의 실내음향특성 조사분석

        The present study aims to investigate the styles of traditional classrooms and to discover the acoustic characteristics of the classroom. Acoustic experiments were undertaken at the Myoung Ryun Dang at the Cheongju Hyang-gyo which have typical style of the traditional classroom of Korea. The background noise level is about 37.3dB that is unsuitable for educational spaces. It is because lots of noise is coming from the outside. Several acoustic parameters were measured at 12 points including sound pressure level (SPL), reverberation time(RT), definition(D50) and speech intelligibility(RASTⅠ). It was found that SPL is reducing rapidly in proportion with the distance away from the sound source. The average value of RT is 0.75 second when classroom was empty which means the appropriate condition for speech. The average D50 value is a 0.60 that is regarded as suitable condition. The average RASTⅠ is 0.66 which is a value of satisfactory level. The result shows that Myoung Ryun Dang has good acoustic conditions with short reverberation time and high clarity in spite of the noises.

        분산 디버거 유니뷰 시스템의 개발

        이기종 환경에서 개발되는 클라이언트 서버 응용프로그램의 디버깅은 개발환경의 이질성과 분산디버깅에 내재하는 복잡성으로 인하여 개발의 주요한 장벽이 되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 클라이언트 서버 모델의 분산처리 디버거인 유니뷰 시스템을 개발하였다. 유니뷰 시스템 클라이언트는 이기종 호스트의 각 디버거들에 대한 단일화된 디버깅 개념과 인터페이스를 제공한다. 유니뷰 시스템 서버는 동일 호스트에 존재하는 한 개 이상의 디버거 프로세스와 연동함으로써 디버깅 서비스를 제공하며 개방성과 확장성을 갖는다. 본 시스템의 개발에서는 다양한 인터페이스의 단일화를 위해 디버깅 객체의 개념을 소개하였다. 디버깅 객체는 이질적인 디버거들의 디버깅 정보와 기능을 추상화하여 모델링한 것으로 본 시스템의 설계 기반을 제공하였다. Debugging client/server applications under heterogeneous development environment is a major bottleneck in the development process due to the heterogeneity and the complexity inherent to the distributed debugging nature. To solve these problems, a distributed debugger of client/server model named UniVIEW has been developed in this project. The UniVIEW client provides unified debugging concept and graphical user interface over various debuggers running on heterogeneous platforms. The UniVIEW server has open architecture which allows extensibility and scalability as well as debugging services by connecting more than one debugger processes residing on the same host. In the design of UniVIEW, a concept of debugging objects has been introduced to unify user interfaces and debugging contexts of various debuggers. As a result of an abstraction process of debugging information and debugging functions of heterogeneous debuggers, debugging object model provides basis of development of UniVIEW.
