Transforming Pre-service Teachers into Data-Driven Educators: A Developmental Research

This study aims to develop instructional design strategies included in educational programs that can effectively improve the educational data literacy of pre-service teachers. We used the design and development model proposed by Richey and Klein and investigated its internal and external validity. Internal validity assessment involved the input of five experts who evaluated the initial instructional strategies. We conducted an educational data literacy education program with 29 pre-service teachers from Korean colleges and graduate schools for external validity. The effectiveness of the program was verified by the Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test, which revealed a meaningful statistical difference between Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test post-scores after the four weeks of online classes. Therefore, this study developed instructional strategies followed by the steps of data-based decision-making: the final instructional strategies encompass 21 strategies, categorized for implementation before, during, and after classes, accompanied by 38 detailed guidelines. This approach bears notable significance as it encapsulates actionable and effective instructional strategies thoughtfully tailored to the unique circumstances and educational setting of the field, as well as the specific characteristics and requirements of the learners.

This thesis gives positivity to Li Mirok's exile literature, and suggests paying attention to his activities during his stay in Germany. Mirok Li is the first Korean created a literary work in German in Germany and an independence activist who carried out various activities for the liberation of Korea in Europe. He had a unique history different from the Koreans who studied in Germany at the time. Unlike them, he decided to go to Germany as an exile, not as an international student. Mirok Li studied medicine at Seoul, but soon stopped his studies in Germany and changed his major to zoology. Moreover, he also had close relations with members of the anti-Nayi group, Weiße Rose, and promoted an active life in Germany such as founding the Association. Looking at his actions in Germany, it is difficult to find any traces of him actually pursuing his return to Korea. However, Li Mirok's literature was read as a work containing nostalgia as an immigrant, or received a somewhat limited evaluation as a cultural introducer who introduced Korea to Germany. Questions that have not clarified in Mirok Li's research are also about 'why did he go to Germany instead of another country' and 'why did he not return to Korea after liberation'. To answer this question, it is necessary to re-examine the relationship between Chosôn and Germany, Mirok Li's life and longing for Germany, and the positive philosophy of life he wanted to maintain there. In this thesis, I tried to imagine the traces of his self-selection of a complex identity as a 'conscious cosmopolitan or conscious stateless person' in Germany and a new construction of his existence. Therefore, this thesis tried to discover the positiveness of Mirok Li's life in exile by newly concentrating the 'scene of giving' that appears in his literature and the person who responds to discrimination. For Mirok Li, when Germany no longer remains only as a political asylum, his literature will be able to take on a new unique status, which also means the possibility of practiving Weltliteratur that Chosôn writers dreamed of during the colonial period. 이 논문은 이미륵 망명문학에 실정성(Positivität,實情性)을 부여하고, 이를 위해 그의 독일 체류 시기의 문학 활동에 주목할 것을 제안하고 있다. 이미륵은 독일에서 독일어로 글을 창작한 최초의 한국인이자, 망명 이후 유럽에서 조선의 해방을 위해 노력한 독립운동가이다. 동시에 그는 독일 내에 체류했던 조선인들과는 다른 독특한 이력을 가지고 있었다. 대부분의 조선인과 달리 이미륵은 유학생이 아닌 망명자의 신분으로 독일행을 결정했기 때문이다. 그리고 그는 경성제대에서 의학을 공부했으나 이내 독일에서 동물학으로 전공을 변경하였고, 독일 내의 반나치주의자, 백장미파(weiße Rose)의 구성원과도 긴밀히 교류하면서 월요문인회를 창설하는 등 적극적인 독일 생활을 개진하였다. 이미륵의 독일 내 활동을 보면 그가 해방 후 귀국을 실질적으로 추진했다는 근거를 발견하기 어렵다. 그러나 이미륵의 문학은 그간 이주자로서의 향수를 담은 작품으로 독해되거나 독일에 한국을 알린 문화전도사의 역할로 다소 한정적인 평가를 받았다. 이미륵 연구에서 규명되지 않은 물음 역시 ‘왜 다른 나라가 아닌 독일로 갔는가’와 ‘왜 해방 후에 귀국하지 않았는가’에 관한 것이다. 해당 질문에 답변하기 위해 조선-독일의 관계, 이미륵의 독일 생활과 유럽에 대한 동경, 그리고 독일에서 유지하고자 했던 긍정적 삶의 철학을 재조명할 필요성이 요구된다. 이 연구에서는 그가 독일에서 ‘의식적 코스모폴리탄 혹은 의식적 무국적자’라는 정체성을 스스로 선택하고, 자신의 삶을 재구성한 흔적을 상상해보고자 하였다. 따라서 그의 문학 작품에 등장하는 ‘(순수) 증여의 장면’, ‘차별에 대응하는 인물’을 조명하여 이미륵 망명생활의 적극성을 발견하고자 했다. 이미륵에게 독일이 더 이상 정치적 망명지(politisches Asyl)로만 머무르지 않을 때, 그의 문학은 독특한 위상을 가질 수 있게 될 것이고, 이는 식민지 시기 조선의 작가들이 꿈꿨던 세계문학의 실현 가능성을 의미할 수도 있을 것이다.

소비자들의 축산물 안전성에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있어 축산물뿐만 아니라 사료의 안전성 관리가 주요 정책 방향으로 대두되고 있다. 이에 소비자들의 축산물에 대한 불안을 불식시키고 소비확대를 위한 정부의 ‘축산물 이력 추적시스템 추진시스템’추진계획과 아울러 기초 생산재인 사료의 안전성확보방안의 일환으로 시행되고 사료의 BSE(광우병) 대책과 HACCP 추진계획을 알아본다.
