Among the various locomotions of living creatures, jumping is a very effective means of catching prey or escaping a crisis situation. Jumping robots can perform missions more efficiently than simple walking robots in disaster or environmental monitoring sites with many complex obstacles and rough terrain. Bending and Torsion jumping robots can have the greatest stiffness through a design that sets the active coil number to 1 rather than the energy storage structure using simple bending energy or springs that have been used to date. The Bending and Torsion robot is 10cm in size and can jump 20 times its body length. It has very high jumping height-to-weight ratio and high energy efficiency at the small scale. By applying a design with the active number of the coil spring to 1, high stiffness was utilized, and the large deformation of the coil spring and the buckling that occurred were applied to modeling.

As data get bigger and bigger, there arose problems of information protection, performance versus cost efficiency, maintenance and management which have led to emerge cloud computing in which some enterprises engage in the business. It has started from open source basis where Hadoop and MapReduce projects implement high availability, fault-tolerance to lessen the burden of maintaining in house server facility, consequently contributing to spend more resources and energy to business per se. I will review the evolutionary process and problems to see the improvements.
체외충격파치료가 회전근개 건염 환자의 통증 및 기능에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 회전근개건염 환자에게 체외충격파 치료를 실시하여 통증과 기능에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아 보고자 하였다. 2011년 9월부터 2012년 2월까지 초음파를 통해 회전근개건염 진단을 받은 환자 32명(치료군 16명, 대 조군 16명)을 대상으로 치료군에게 4주 동안 체외충격파 치료를 실시하였다. 통증은 visual analog scale(VAS)와 pressure pain threshold(PPT)를 사용하여 평가하였고 기능평가는 위해 Constant and Murley Scale(CMS)와 Simple Shoulder Test(SST)를 통해 평가 하였다. 연구 결과 체외충격파 중재 후 치료군에서는 대조군에 비해 통증과 관절가동 범위, 근력, 기능 등 모든 부분에서 유의한 변화를 보였다. 이 결과는 회전근개건염 환자에게 체외충격파 치료가 어깨 의 통증과 기능에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 가능성을 시사하고 효과적인 치료방법이라 할 수 있다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether extracorporeal shock wave (ESWT) is an effective treatment for rotator cuff tendinitis. Study subjects included 32 patients (16 in the experimental group and 16 in the control group). The patients were evaluated by assessing pain and function using visual analog scale (VAS), pressure pain threshold (PPT), Constant and Murley Scale (CMS), and simple shoulder test (SST). The results of this study indicated that ESWT after the subjects in the experimental group experienced significant changes in pain, range of motion, muscle strength, and function when compared to the control group. These results indicate that ESWT could be considered as an effective and efficient treatment for rotator cuff tendinitis.
Selenium 섭취가 열 부하인 반신수욕 시 발한과 활동한선밀도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of supplementary selenium on sweating and activated sweat gland density (ASGD) after heat load with half-body immersion (42±0.5, 30 min), All subjects participated in two repeated experiments at one week interval. Subjects were given 500㏄ water with or without selenium (100 ㎍) prior 1 hour before heat load with half-body bathing for 30 min. This study obtained the mean ASGD from torso (chest, upper back, lower back, abdomen) and limb (upper arm, forearm, thigh, and leg) before and after heat load. Selenium consumption attenuated the decrease in local sweating and active sweat gland density after heat loading, resulting in a significant decrease in whole body sweat loss at rest and after heating compared with those in the placebo group, Selenium contributed to inhibit the reduction in active sweat gland density and to decrease local (torso and limb) sweating compared with those in the placebo group.
4주간의 온열처치가 폐경기 비만 여성의 Adiponectin 분비와 C-reactive protein 활성감소에 미치는 영향

Adiponectin and c-reacitve (CRP) protein secreted by adipose tissue, related to metabolic syndrome in obese postmenopausal women. Therefore, we examined plasma adiponectin and CRP after thermotherapy. Plasma adiponectin, CRP, waist circumference, free fatty acids, weight, % body fat and body surface area (BSA) measures were determined in obese postmenopausal women (n=21) at before and after thermotheraphy (half bath in hot water, 42±0.5°C, 30min/time, 15 times, 4 weeks). Compared to before, significantly higher mean adiponectin (p<.01), free fatty acids(p<.01) and significantly lower c-reactive protein (p<.01), waist circumference (p<.01), weight (p<.05), % body fat and body surface area (p<.01) after thermotheraphy. In conclusions, 4-weeks of thermotherapy were effective in elevating plasma adiponectin and lowering CRP in obese postmenopausal women. The results suggest that thermotheraphy with half-bath immersion may help improve metabolic dysregulation and systemic inflammation in postmenopausal obese women who may have limited exercise due to cultural or economic limits.
온열부하 중 심폐체력 수준에 따른 HPA axis 호르몬 분비와 지질분해 효과

The influence of passive heat loading on the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and lipolysis responses was studied in trained (Tr; n=8, age 38.6±5.40 yrs; height 162.5±1.85 cm; weight, 52.7±4.26 kg; V˙O₂max, 38.31±4.91 ml/kg/min) and untrained (Utr; n=7, age 37.3±3.50 yrs; height 160.9±1.59 cm; weight, 51.2±4.24 kg; V˙O₂max, 31.8±0.92 ml/kg/min) females. The passive heat loading (41℃, half bath, air temperature, 23±0.5℃, relative humidity, 60±3%) was applied for 30 min. The study resulted significantly higher in Tr than Utr in whole body sweat loss rate (p<.01), tympanic temperature (10-20min, p<.05). Responses to the Tr after passive heat loading had significantly higher plasma cortisol and circulating free fatty acids levels compared with the Utr (p<.05, p<.01). Thus, a passive heat loading stimulated the HPA axis and increased cortisol and lipid metabolism in Tr. In conclusion, the accelerated stimulation of HPA axis and oxidation of lipids with passive heat loading were more pronounced in excellent cardiopulmonary fitness level.

무선 통신의 용량 증대와 음성 지역 해소 그리고 QoS 를 위하여 최근 활발하게 연구개발되고 있는 femtocell 은 사용자에게는 저렴한 통신 요금과 위치 인식 서비스 그리고 위치 통지에 의한 closed subscriber group간의 가족 위치 확인같은 편리성 제공과 통신사업자에게 OPEX, CAPEX 경감 동 장점을 제공하고 있다. 한편 기존의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅환경하에서 주변 상황 정보를 감지하여 인지하는 context awareness 에 센싱과 서비스가 동시에 이루어지는 새로운 파라다임을 제공해 주고 있어 상황인지 시스템 구축에 파라다임의 변화가 필요한 시점이다 즉, raw data 취득, 가독 data로 변환, 고수준 상황추론, 서비스 제공 둥의 시스템 구축이 휴대 단말의 응용 프로그램이나 네트워크에서 단말을 인식하여 연결된 기기들에 대해 정보 전달이 가능해져 별도의 시스템 구축 없이도 상당 부분의 상황인지 framework 기능이 가능하게 되었다.
응집 요소를 사용한 균열 진전 유한요소 해석에서 응집 법칙의 영향에 대한 연구

본 논문에서는 3 점 굽힘과 이중 외팔보 문제에 대하여 응집 요소를 사용한 유한요소 균열 진전 해석을 수행하고 응집 법칙의 영향을 알아보았다. 응집 요소는 ABAQUS/Standard 의 사용자 서브루틴(UEL)으로 구현하였으며 응집 법칙은 다항식 형태의 응집 트랙션-열림 변위의 관계식을 사용하였고 응집 법칙의 형상에 대한 영향을 알아 보기 위하여 다항식의 계수를 변화시켰다. 동일한 파손 에너지와 응집 강도를 갖지만 다른 형상의 응집 법칙에 대한 해석을 수행하고 변위-반력 곡선을 비교하여 균열 진전 거동의 변화를 알아보았다. 또한 요소 크기에 따른 균열 진전 해석 결과의 영향을 논의하였다. In this paper, the effect of cohesive laws on the finite element analysis of crack propagation using cohesive elements is investigated through three-point bending and double cantilever beam problems. The cohesive elements are implemented into ABAQUS/Standard user subroutines(UEL), and the shape of cohesive law is varied by changing parameters in polynomial functions of cohesive traction-separation relations. In particular, crack propagation behaviors are studied by comparing load-displacement curves of the analysis models which have different shapes of cohesive laws with the same values of fracture energy and cohesive strength. Furthermore, the influence of the element size on crack propagation is discussed in this study.
