Among seyeral literary works written under the influence of Hsi-Yu Chi(西遊記), Hsi-Yu Pu (西遊補) is the one which is being recognized for its artistic quality. This novel, which was written by Tung Yueh (董說) at the end of the Ming period, is a medium-length story composed of sixteen chapters. Although it is short in length, it is an excellent work in that it employs skillful modern technjques. In this paper, Hsi-Yu Pu was examined in terms of characters, themes, and techniques in reference to the counter parts of Hsi-Yu Chi, its archetype. The following conclusions were drawn from the research : 1) all the characters who appear in Hsi-Yu Pu are the projections of Sun Wu Kung's(孫梧空) spirit. 2) The topic of Hsi-Yu Pu is that in the ccurse of disciplining human mind, the biggest obstacle that we face is desire (情欲), and when we recognize that this desire wielding so great power to mislead human beings is empty in reality, we come to attain enlightenment liberated from the evil spirits of desire (情魔). 3) The techniques employed are inserticn, symbolism and satire through which the progress that Sun Wu Kung attains enlightement overcoming the evil spirits of desire is described. In conclusion, Hsi-Yu Pu is not only a fable which pottrays the process of self-recognition of an individual, but also a literary work in which the social aspects of the contemporary era are reflected.

최근 주택문화의 발달에 따라 그 속에 거주하는 사람들의 의생활도 그 주거양식에 맞추어 합릭적인 의복형태가 이루어져야 할 것이다 본 연구는 이러한 주거양식에 따른 합리적인 의복형태와의 관계를 연구하고져 익산시내의 단독주택 및 아파트 거주자를 대상으로 의복의 착용종류, 잠옷의 형태, 귀가후의 복장, 목욕후의 복장, 거실에서의 의복형태, 거실에서의 잠옷차림에 대한 의식 등을 설문지를 통하여 자료를 조사, 수집, 분석하였다. 그 결과 주거양식의 변화에 따라 소유하고 있는 의복의 종류도 다양하게 나타나고 특히 실내복의 보급은 증가비율이 현저하게 나타나는 것을 알수 있었고 또한 대체로 실내복과 잠옷겸용 실내복의 비율이 높게 나타나는 것을 보면 주거내에서는 편안한 복장으로 휴식과 안정된 생활을 추구하고 있음을 알수 있었다. As residential buildings have been developed recently, the clothing forms of the people who live in these buildings must be rationalized in accordance with the building style, in this study, the relationship between the building style and the clothing form was investigated. The recognition of the people who live in individual houses and apartment houses about the classification of wearing manner, the form of nightgown, the home dress, the bath dress and the dress in living room was investigated by means of written inquiries. The result is as follows; the kind of clothes was various according to the change of building styles, the popularization of home dresses was remarkable. According to the fact that the home dress spreads abroad rapidly, it is recognized that the life of rest and stability is desired eagerly at home.
