기존 건축물의 녹색건축 활성화를 위한 녹색건축인증 현황 및 기준 개선에 관한 제언

In the building sector, various policies and standards, including building energy reduction design standards, green building certification, and zero energy building certification have been implemented for reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. However, the existing standards and policies have been prepared for new buildings, and the review of existing buildings is insufficient. Therefore, in this study, we reviewed the current policies and standards in relation to existing buildings and analyzed the acquisition status of green building certification. In addition, through the analysis of acquisition status for each certification criterion, the limitations of the current certification standards and scope of improvement were suggested. Consequently, measures to improve the evaluation criteria were derived, such as applying the actual energy-saving rate to existing buildings and expanding the scope of certification for green building materials. Through this study, the acquisition and application of green building certification for existing buildings are expected to proceed.

Purpose: Various efforts are being made at the government level to revitalize green buildings in Korea, and green building certification and incentives are being operated as one of them, but the current green building incentives in Korea are only supports for new building area, and there are no incentives for existing building area such as green remodeling, so this paper reviewed the status and financial resources for existing buildings. Method: We reviewed the composition and related regulations of the Green Building Certification (G-SEED) in Korea, reviewed the current certified status of new and existing buildings, and reviewed foreign countries and especially Singapore incentives in detail to propose the need for support for existing building area. Result: Incentives for existing buildings require direct construction support, and intensive support for high-performance remodeling is deemed appropriate, but suggesting the introduction and induction of private-related funds as well as government budgets for related funds.

In order to prepare a plan for reorganizing the green building certification system for existing buildings in Korea, this study reviewed BREEAM and LEED, which are famous overseas certification systems, and compared the characteristics of the systems, focusing on the composition of items and points. As a result, we derived the characteristics of green building certification systems for existing buildings at home and abroad, and proposed a plan to reorganize the certification system for green building of existing buildings in Korea in the future. However, this study did not prepare a detailed standard improvement plan through simple item comparison, and we plan to revitalize it through further research.

As problems caused by global warming become more serious to humans, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, which has a direct influence on global warming is emerging as one of the principal challenges. Accordingly, the reduction of greenhouse gas produced in the process of operating a building, or the reduction of energy consumption is emerging as a main issue. As part of such a trend, we select passive design based on elementary school, Therefore, this study suggested an energy-saving design plan considering passive design elements by experimental design. By evaluating the influence, classified the design elements based on their importance and suggested a final design plan.
