        교정공무원의 직무스트레스가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 가족탄력성과 가족지지의 매개효과

        본 연구는 교정공무원의 직무스트레스가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 특히 직무스트레스와 삶의 만족도 관계에서 가족탄력성과 가족지지가 병렬매개효과를 가지는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 G지역에 소재한 네 곳의 교도소에 근무 중인 교정공무원 251명을 대상으로 조사하여 자료를 분석하였다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인들 간 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 직무스트레스는 삶의 만족도에 유의한 부적영향을 주었다. 셋째, 직무스트레스와 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 가족탄력성과 가족지지가 이중 병렬매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 교정공무원의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위해 직무스트레스를 낮추는 실천개입과 가족탄력성 강화와 가족지지의 증진을 통한 직무스트레스 관리의 필요성을 시사한다. This study examined whether the job stress of correctional officers affects life satisfaction, and especially family resilience and family support have mediating effects on the relationship between job stress and life satisfaction. A survey of 251 correctional officers working in four prisons in area G was conducted and the data was analyzed. The main results were as follows. First, there were significant correlations among variables. Second, job stress had a significant negative effect on life satisfaction. Third, family resilience and family support had double parallel mediation effects on the relationship between job stress and life satisfaction. Therefore, these findings suggest the necessity of practical interventions to reduce job stress and management through enhanced family resilience and family support to improve the life satisfaction of correctional officers.

        The Effectiveness of Direct and Indirect Coded Written Feedback in English as a Foreign Language

        Despite continuing interest in the relative effectiveness of different typesof written corrective feedback in both second language (L2) researchand classroom, no one type of written feedback has yet been conclusivelyshown to be more effective than another. The present studyinvestigated the differential efficacy of two types of focused written correctivefeedback, direct error correction and indirect coded feedback,for L2 development. Forty-three Korean English as a foreign language(EFL) learners from three intact classes at a university were assigned toa control group or one of two experimental groups (i.e., direct vs. indirectcoded feedback). A pretest-post-test design was employed to assessimprovement in learners’ ability to use the target structure, thepast counterfactual conditional. Only the direct written feedback groupsignificantly outperformed the control group on the post-test involving anew piece of writing. Results indicated that direct written feedback wasmore effective than indirect written feedback provided in the form ofcoded feedback in improving learners’ subsequent accuracy in using acomplex syntactic structure in a short-term period.

        Reactivity of Concurrent Verbal Reports in Second Language Acquisition Research: A Methodological Synthesis

        As a research method to collect concurrent, real-time data about learners’ cognitive processes, concurrent verbal reports have been widely used in second language acquisition (SLA) research. However, concerns have also been expressed about their validity. A substantial number of studies in SLA have empirically investigated whether concurrent verbal reports are reactive (i.e., whether the act of verbalizing changes the thought processes under investigation) over the last fifteen years or so. Building upon the growing body of research syntheses in second language research (e.g., Plonsky, 2013), this paper presents a methodological synthesis which systematically reviews the primary empirical investigations into the reactivity of concurrent verbalization in SLA. Eighteen unique published study reports qualified for inclusion were retrieved. Each study report was then coded for methodological features related to sampling, study design, statistical analyses, and data reporting practices. The results indicate some strengths and a number of areas in need of attention and improvements in methodological practices and reporting transparency. In addition, the findings point to several directions for future empirical studies to advance our understanding of the important methodological issue of reactivity.

        Second Language Accuracy Development Through Interaction in Video-Based Telecollaboration and Face-to-Face Contexts and Type of Assessment Task: A Curricular Approach

        Despite the growing interest in the use of telecollaboration in higher education, little has been documented concerning the effects of interaction in video-based telecollaboration on L2 development in comparison with interaction in the traditional face-to-face (FTF) environment. In addition, very few studies have succeeded in situating the research designs within the language curriculum for robust pedagogical ramifications in addition to addressing statistically performances obtained on different types of assessment tasks. As part of a larger research project on telecollaboration, this study investigated the relative effects of interaction in video-based telecollaboration (Teletandem) and FTF environments, embedded within language curriculum, on L2 oral accuracy development together with the possible role of the type of oral production assessment task in L2 accuracy development across time. Advanced-level learners of Spanish as a foreign language engaged in oral interaction either in Teletandem (with native speakers of Spanish) or in FTF (with nonnative speaker learners) environments six times during the course of one semester. L2 development was measured by a picture-description task and an opinion-stating task. Results showed that interaction both in Teletandem and FTF modes promoted L2 accuracy development over the six sessions, and the type of medium (and their inherent differences of interlocutor type) did not significantly affect L2 development. Furthermore, results indicated that learners achieved greater improvements on the opinion-stating task than on the picture-description task. These findings are discussed in light of research design issues, previous findings, and the need to seriously address the context of learning from a curricular perspective.

      • 청소년의 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 청소년의 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 연구이다. 각 변수들이 청소년의 다문화 다문화수용성에 미치는 영향을 알아 보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 청소년의 정서문제, 자아관련 변인, 부모양육방식, 또래 애착, 학교생활, 지역사회 관련 요인 모두 에서 유의미한 결과가 도출되었다. 정서문제 중 신체증상, 사회적 위축감은 다문화 수용에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 자아관련 변인 중 진로정체 감, 자아정체감은 다문화 수용에 정적 영향을 미치고 있었다. 부모 양육방식 중 부모방임은 다문화 수용성과 부적관계였으며, 또래 애착 중 의사소통, 신뢰 가 다문화 수용성과 정적 관계로 나타났다. 청소년의 학교생활은 하위 변수인 학습활동, 학교규칙, 교우관계, 교사관계 모두 다문화 수용성에 정적 영향을 미치고 있었다. 지역사회 관련 변인 중 공동체 의식은 다문화 수용성과 정적 관계로 나타났으며 설명력 또한 가장 높았다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 연구에 서는 공동체 의식을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안 마련, 학교생활에 있어서의 개입 방안, 가족, 정서 문제, 정체감 향상 등에 필요한 프로그램 제공에 대한 정책적 제언을 하였다.

        The Differential Effect of Direct Written Corrective Feedback on Two English Structures

        The present study investigates whether the extent to which second language (L2) learners benefit from a single written corrective feedback treatment varies depending on the type of linguistic target. Thirty-three Korean EFL learners from two intact classes at a university were randomly assigned to an experimental group who received direct written corrective feedback or a control group. L2 development was measured through a written story-retelling task. The experimental group showed a significantly greater improvement from pre- to post-tests than did the control group only when direct written corrective feedback was provided on one of the two targeted syntactic structures, the past counterfactual conditional. The results indicate that direct written corrective feedback may be differentially effective depending upon the linguistic structure being targeted.

        농촌 노인 대상의 주택개보수 사업의 문제점과 정책 제언에 대한 질적 연구

        This study aims to analyze the problems of housing renovation programs for the elderly in rural areas and draw policy suggestions from in-depth interviews with housing experts. Key findings from the thematic analysis are as follows: First, the elderly in rural areas have a strong attachment to their own houses where they have lived for a long time and hardly recognize the inconveniences of these old houses. Second, rural communities take care of the elderly who have lived as their members, but whether the individual elderly person could benefit significantly from the village protection system or not depends on the degree to which he or she has maintained good relationships with the community members. In particular, community leaders in rural villages play a key role in providing care for the elderly. Third, although the public and private sectors carry out various housing renovation programs for the elderly in rural areas, they find it difficult to adequately repair their houses due to budget limitations. In terms of the delivery system, it was difficult to find appropriate home repair companies. In addition, conflicts often occur with the elderly and their guardians over the scope and scale of the renovation. Finally, in the case of houses with serious deterioration, it is almost impossible to properly improve the residential environment through housing renovation programs.
