        시호계지탕가미방(柴胡桂枝湯加味方) 투여로 호전된 아토피 피부염 환자 증례

        Object : In this study, the effect of herb medication, aromarherapy and acupuncture treatment against atopic dermatitis was investigated. Method : We treated him with herb medication, aromatherapy and acupuncture treatment during 28days. Atopic dermatitis grade ane the effect of medication was determined using Kunz type and SCORAD index. Atopic dermatitis lesion was checked by taking pictures. Result : The SCORAD index was lowered 39 at discharge than before of which the SCORAD index was 74.2. at admission. The patient's symptoms are getting reduced. Conclusion : On the basis of this study, herb medication, aromatherapy and acupuncture treatment were shown to treat atopic dermatitis effectively by decreasing oozing, itching, crust.

        $Pb(Zr_{0.56}Ti_{0.44})O_3$ 강유전체 음극의 전극 모형에 따른 전자 방출 특성

        Electric-field-induced electron emission from the three kinds of $Pb(Zr_{0.56}Ti_{0.44})O_3$ ferroelectric cathodes with different electrode structure has been investigated. Regardless of the electrode structures, a threshold field of the each cathode was 2.5-2.6kV/mm, which is 3 times higher than the coercive field of $Pb(Zr_{0.56}Ti_{0.44})O_3$ material. Although the waveform of the electron currents was affected by the structure of the electrode, no significant difference for the emission properties such as the peak current and the pulse width was observed from the three kinds of the cathodes. However, the current density of the cathode was dependent on the electrode structure. From the simulation of electric field distribution, the surface flashover, and the injury region of the cathode surface, it was proved that the prime electrons were initiated at the electrode-ceramic-vacuum triple point by field emission and the emission currents were strongly enhanced by the surface plasma.

        골다공증의 국내 연구 동향에 대한 고찰 - 한의 학술 논문 검색을 중심으로-

        Objectives : The present study examines the domestic trend of Osteoporosis studies in Korea. Method : We reviewed oriental medicine papers published in last ten years (2003-2012). Korean literature search was used for domestic Internet search portal. 'Naver specialized information retrieval', 'Korea Traditional Knowledge Portal', 'Korea Medical Information Portal (OASIS)',' Scientific and Technological Information Integration Services (NDSL)',' Academic Research Information Service (RISS)'as the primary destination of the search were. Since 2003 until 2012, the thesis o'f osteoporosis'and found 92 papers with the search term '(golwi)' to the search terms found in 3 papers Korean medical target of on going research trends in osteoporosis about investigated. Results : 1. We researched 95 papers in 15 journals and patterns of study were as follows : experimental studies were 79(83%), clinical studies were 12(13%), reviewed studies were 3(3%) and etc. were 1(1%). 2. The experimental studies(79) were divided into papers on efficiency testing of herbal medications(67) and herbal acupuncture(12). 3. The clinical studies(12) showed that research has been carried out in the fields of follow up surveys for the herbal medication efficiency testing, basic research, case report, the relativity of osteoporosis to age and sex, and the perception about osteoporosis and korean medicine treatment. 4. The reviewed studies showed that research has been carried out in the fields of osteoporosis about acient literature and domestic studies about herbal medication of osteoporosis. Conclusion : Reviewing the domestic trend of Osteoporosis studies and examining the strong and weak points of those treatments are essential for the future studies. It is anticipated that this review benefits the future in-depth study on the treatments for osteoporosis in Korean medicine.

        자초(紫草) 추출물이 P. acnes의 단핵구 세포 사이토카인 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향

        Objective : This study was performed to evaluate the effect of Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts on the inflammatory cytokines gene expression by the bacteria of Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) which elicits acne in human monocytes, THP-1 cell line. Experiment : Cytotoxicity of Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts was analyzed by XTT assay. Real time RT-PCR was applied to analyze the cytokines gene expressions of IL-8, MCP-1 and TNF-$\alpha$. Translocation of transcription factor NF-${\kappa}B$ from cytoplasm into nucleus was observed using immunocytochemistry and confocal microscopy. Results : Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts did not show cytotoxicity as high as in $1,000\;{\mu}g/ml$ of concentration. Transcription levels of inflammatory cytokines, IL-8, MCP-1 and TNF-$\alpha$ were increased by P. acnes in THP-1 and Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts decreased the upregulated transcription levels. Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts significantly inhibited the translocation of NF-${\kappa}B$ into nucleus by P. acnes. Conclusion : This study suggests that Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts have anti-inflammatory effects on P. acnes treated THP-1 as decreasing the mRNA expressions of IL-8, MCP-1 and TNF-$\alpha$. This anti-inflammatory effect of Lithospermum erythrorhizon extracts may be useful in therapeutic treatments for acne vulgaris.

        랫드 유선 상피 세포의 분리와 gap junction 단백질의 발현 양상

        We have a cultured method to grow rat mammary epithelial cells (RMEC) for 1 to 14 days in 1:1 mixture of Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium: Nutrient and F-12 (DMEM/F-12) containing 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS), human EGF, insulin, hydrocortisone, human transferrin and $17{\beta}$-estradiol in vitro. We were able to isolate and distinguish two cell types, luminal epithelial cells and myoepithelial cells, from primary clutures of RMEC. Immunocytochemical stains were used to distingusih luminal epithelial cells and myoepithelial cells. Peanut lectin (PNA) was stained in most alveolar epithelail cells and luminal epithelial cells of rats, while Thy-1.1, a maker of potential rat mammary myoepithelial cells, was expressed in myoepithelial cells in the rat. Also, we examined the expression patterns of three types of gap junction proteins, connexin 26 ($C{\times}26$), connexins 32 ($C{\times}32$) and connexin 43 ($C{\times}43$) by immunocytochemistry and western blot analysis. In the cell types, the results show that at the early stage of culture, luminal epithelial cells were increased and these cells were surrounded by myoepithelial cells. At the late stage of culture, luminal epithelial cells were decreased, in contrast myoepithelial cells were increased. In the expression pattern of gap junction, $C{\times}26$ maintained it's expression until day 3, but afterwards gradually decreased in intensity. Expression of $C{\times}32$ remained until day 5, then decreased slightly. $C{\times}43$ gradually increased untill the middle time of culture then decreased in intensity. These results suggest that connexins may be important for the control of growth in rat mammary epithelial cell types.

        수리모형을 이용한 요격확률 및 비용 기반의 다층 방어 요격미사일 운용방법 연구

        It is important to operate a limited number of interceptors effectively to counter ballistic missile threats. The existing interceptor operating method determines the number of interceptors according to the level of TBM (Theater Ballistic Missile) engagement effectiveness applied to a defended asset. It can cause either excessive interceptor waste compared to the intercept probability or the intercept probability decrease. Thus, interceptor operating method must be decided considering the number of ballistic missiles, intercept probability and cost. This study proposes a mathematical model to improve the existing interceptor operating method. In addition, the efficiency indicator is proposed for trade-off between intercept probability and cost. As a result of the simulations, the mathematical model-based interceptor operating method can achieve better results than the existing interceptor operating method. 탄도미사일 위협에 대응하기 위해 제한된 수량의 요격미사일을 효율적으로 운용하는 것은 중요하다. 기존 요격미사일 운용방법은 방호목표에 적용하는 교전효과수준에 따라 요격미사일 수를 결정한다. 이는 요격확률에 비해 과도한 요격미사일 소모 또는 요격확률 감소를 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 탄도미사일 수와 요격확률 및 비용을 고려하여 요격미사일 운용방법을 결정해야한다. 본 연구는 요격미사일 운용방법을 개선하기 위한 수리모형을 제안한다. 또한, 요격확률과 비용의 절충을 위해 효율성 지표를 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 수리모형 기반 요격미사일 운용방법이 기존 요격미사일 운용방법에 비해 우수한 결과를 달성할 수 있었다.

        대한안이비인후피부과학회지에 게재된 아토피 피부염 관련논문에 관한 고찰

        Objective : This study was carried out to analyze and understand the trends of Atopic dermatitis papers Published in the Journal of Korean Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology(JKOOOD) Methods : We have reviewed 43 articles of atopic dermatitis which were published in JKOOOD during 1988-2008. All the papers are classified into three categories; original article, review article and case report. Results : 1. The number of journals associated with atopic dermatitis is 43 papers: 16 original articles(16/43%), 16 case reports(16/43%), 11 review articles(11/43%). 2. Classification of 16 original articles in terms of methodology: 11 experimental studies(11/16%), 5 descriptive studies (5/16%), 0 analytic studies(0%). 3. Classification of 16 case reports in terms of the number of patients: 1 person(8/16%), 2 persons(3/16%), 3 persons(2/16%). Conclusions : In this study, we analyzed the trends of Atopic dermatitis papers Published in the Journal of Korean Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology during 1988-2008. It is needed to adopt the qualitative methods of evaluation in order to develop a level of evidence.

        A complete demolition-type maintenance project has been carried out as a management policy for the maintenance of existing deteriorated low-rise residential blocks. This resulted in many side effects such as community disconnection, polarization of housing types, housing uniformity, and a decrease in the resettlement rate of natives. Accordingly, various urban regeneration measures have been proposed, but most of them do not fully consider various conditions in deteriorated low-rise residential blocks, and the improvement effect is insignificant due to the superficial approach only in a large frame. This study is an analysis study of the types of small areas in deteriorated low-rise residential blocks to find effective urban regeneration plans for deteriorated low-rise residential blocks.

        삼국 초중기의 숲 인식 변화

        So far, there has been practically no adequate study which concentrated its intention upon “forests” in the history of Korea, let alone the ancient periods. Probably influenced by a Marxist historical perspective, forests were generally only regarded (by scholars engaged in studies of ancient states’ formation and growth based upon agricultural production) as a land mass that were usually or at least slated to be diverted into cultivatable space. However, a series of recent studies determined to examine past ecosystems and ecological conditions are literally forcing us to newly contemplate upon the influences forests would have had upon human communities for a change. It is now imperative for us to perceive forests as a living and breathing counterpart that have coexisted with human societies for centuries. In this article forests of the early and middle phases of the Three dynasties period are examined as a space which actually interacted with the humans. How the people of this period perceived them(forests), and how their(the people’s) perspectives changed according to alterations that occurred inside the forests would be the prime focus. It should also be noted that the people’s perception of forests often led to physical actions on the humans’ part. Research shows that forests of the early & middle phases of the Three dynasties period were actually separated from the normal world, and considered quite numinous. Then, as the iron-based culture started to bloom and reclamation projects began to hit the forests, forests were suddenly deprived of their deity-like status. The entity who obtained such status from the forests was no other than the king of ancient states, as they expanded their authority upon forests by embarking upon royal hunting trips in forests, collecting woods and other materials there, creating agricultural fields or launching royal constructions inside, and even absorbing entire forests into preestablished local units. In the process, forests of the early & middle phases of the Three dynasties period left the ‘outer realm’ permanently, and were pulled into the ‘normal world,’ filled with ordinary people.
