Air gun has been one of the good tools to press two sheet metals. However, it is not easy to control the acting force precisely. A Servo-gun is a good tool to control the acting force on the workpiece comparing with the air gun. Servo-gun has a higher tensile shear strength and lower indentation depth as well as smaller spatter. Dynamic resistance was obtained according to the acting force and welding current. As the acting force was changed during welding, the welding quality was increased.
건축물 공간정보를 이용한 침수‧산사태 위험 건축물 도출 연구

The purpose of this study was to extract buildings located within flood and landslide hazard areas using spatial information of domesticbuildings. By identifying the characteristics of buildings in disaster-prone regions, this research aims to contribute to the identification ofbuildings requiring urgent preparation. This study employed a combination of building ledger data and land characteristic information togenerate building spatial data. Building properties were defined based on the number of basement floors and the years that elapsed since theuse approval date of the buildings. The resulting building spatial data were then categorized into seven distinct clusters based on theirproperties. To analyze the differences, ANOVA and posthoc tests were conducted to examine the average variances in flood hours andlandslide hazard rates among the seven clusters. Furthermore, this study identified the building properties located within flood and landslidehazard areas. By implementing the proposed method, central and local governments can more efficiently and effectively prevent accidents inbuildings during disasters through proactive measures. 본 연구는 건축물의 공간정보화를 통해 홍수 및 산사태 위험지역 내 건축물을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 재난위험조건 하에서 건축물의 특성을 파악함으로써 시급한 대비가 필요한 건축물을 파악하는데 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 건축물 공간정보를 생성하기 위해 건축물대장 정보와 토지특성정보를 결합하였으며, QGIS에 점 벡터로 저장되어 건축물 속성 추출에 활용되었다. 홍수 및 산사태 위험 지역 내에 위치한 건축물 특성에 대한 기술적 통계를 각각 계산하고 시각화했다. 또한 홍수 및 산사태 위험 지역 내에 위치한 건물 특성을 추출했다.

Primary objective of this study is to improve lighting performance and to reduce electrical energy consumption by deploying light shelf combined with lens and diffusion film. This research further aims at verifying its validity by conducting performance evaluation through simulation operated on a program for light environments. The outcome of this study revealed significant performance improvement of the light shelf when diffusion film is adopted combined with 30 degrees of a light shelf angle is configured for the target test system.
PCA 적용 데이터 차원 변화에 따른 LSTM 기반 건물 전력 소비량 예측 - 대전 캠퍼스 건물을 중심으로 -

Building energy demand currently accounts for 30% of the total energy consumption, which has a great influence on the planning and operation of the energy market managed by energy suppliers. Furthermore, its importance has increased significantly with the advent of smart grid. Variables affecting building energy consumption include identified various environmental conditions that cast sophisticated effect on the energy performance of the buildings. However, due to a large number of potentially associated environmental variables, it is needed to extract embedded features so as to improve building energy prediction capability through adopting Principle Component Analysis which could reduce input data dimension. The primary objective of this study is to propose a high-precision building energy demand prediction model by reducing the dimensionality through PCA. Machine learning is implemented by using LSTM model, and prediction accuracy and performance are verified through R², RMSE, MAE, as well as computation time. The improvement ratio showed 14.93% increase when dimension-reduced dataset and normalized raw data were combined in comparison with the predicted case tested by using only normalized raw data. This study could support optimum building energy operation planning and design by promoting the creation and implementation of energy-efficient smart grid systems in the future.

Resistance spot welding using air gun has been used for joining the sheet metal in automotive manufacturing process. Although air gun has many advantages, it also has the limitation to control the pressure as a factor to improve weld quality. In this study, we apply servo gun using servo motor to resistance spot welding and find the relationship between welding pressure and welding quality. Trough the experiment to change welding pressure during the welding cycle, we can make it clear that the change of welding pressure is greatly influence on the welding quality.

The effects of capsaicin (CAP), a transient receptor potential vanilloid subtype 1 (TRPV1) agonist, were determined on nigrostriatal dopamine (DA) neurons in the 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) mouse model of Parkinson’s disease (PD). The results showed that TRPV1 activation by CAP rescued nigrostriatal DA neurons, enhanced striatal DA functions and improved behavioral recovery in MPTP-treated mice. CAP neuroprotection was associated with reduced expression of proinflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-1β) and reactive oxygen species/reactive nitrogen species from activated microglia-derived NADPH oxidase, inducible nitric oxide synthase or reactive astrocyte-derived myeloidperoxidase. These beneficial effects of CAP were reversed by treatment with the TRPV1 antagonists capsazepine and iodo-resiniferatoxin, indicating TRPV1 involvement. This study demonstrates that TRPV1 activation by CAP protects nigrostriatal DA neurons via inhibition of glial activation-mediated oxidative stress and neuroinflammation in the MPTP mouse model of PD. These results suggest that CAP and its analogs may be beneficial therapeutic agents for the treatment of PD and other neurodegenerative disorders that are associated with neuroinflammation and glial activation-derived oxidative damage.
