We report a case involving a young male with the complete form of primary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy. He presented with the typical features of the condition: thickening and furrowing of the skin of the forehead and scalp, and digital clubbing of the hands and feet. Plain radiographs of the long bones of the extremities depicted bilateral irregular, shaggy, cortical diaphyseal thickening. T1- and T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) of the femur demonstrated low-signal-intensity cortical thickening. Bone scintigraphy revealed no photon uptake in the long bones. 일차성 비후성 골관절증은 경피증과 골막반응을 특징으로 하는 드문 질환이다. 본 저자는 양측 슬관절통을 호소하는 28세 남자의 일차성 비후성 골관절증 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 임상적으로 경피증이 이마와 두피에서 보였고, 수지 곤봉상이 관찰되었다. 단순촬영에서 대퇴골, 경골, 비골, 상완골, 척골과 요골에서 골막반응이 관찰되었다. 자기공명영상에서 T1과 T2 강조영상에서 저신호강도의 골막반응이 보였다. 골 스캔에서는 이상 소견이 없었다.

We describe two cases of cholesterol granuloma arising from the mastoid in a 51-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man who underwent CT and MRI. CT depicted lobular soft tissue masses involving the right mastoid, while T1- and T2-weighted MRI demonstrated high signal intensities. Underlying chronic inflammation of the middle ear cavity was noted. 콜레스테롤 육아종은 염증후 발생하는 육아종성 조직으로 콜레스테롤과 혈액을 함유한다. 콜레스테롤 육아종은 추체첨과 중이강에 호발하나, 드물게 유양돌기에 발생한다. 저자는 51세 여자와 26세 남자에서 유양돌기에 발생한 콜레스테롤 육아종 2 예를 보고하고자 한다. 컴퓨터 단층촬영에서 우측 유양돌기를 침범한 엽상의 팽창성 종괴가 관찰되고, 자기공명 T1과 T2 강조영상에서 고신호강도로 보였다. 두 예 모두에서 만성 중이염 소견이 있었다.
이온 교환체로서 Quinine-금속thiocyanate착물을 이용한 Quinine의 정량

The fabrication and performance characteristics of quinine sensitive poly(vinyl chloride) membrane electrodes based on the ion-association complex of quinine with an anionic counter ion, metal thiocyanates (Co(SCN)??, Cd(SCN)??, Fe((SCN)??, Hg(SCN)??, Mn(SCN)??, Ni(SCN)??, zn(SCN)??) was described. The sensing membrane was based on the quinine complex of cobalt thiocyanate plasticized with 65.3% (w/w) tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (TEHP), ferric thiocyanate with 65.3% (w/w) TEHP, nickel thiocyanate with 65.3% (w/w) TEHP and zinc thiocyanate with 49% (w/w) TEHP. These electrodes show a linear response down to 1.2×10?, 1.0×10?, 9.6×10?, 2.0×10?M with Nernstian slope of 55.69, 54.96, 56.63, 55.80 mV/dec. for quinine with relative standard deviation of 3.1, .51, 2.26, 3.16% at pH 5.5∼7.6, respectively. Response time was 10∼20s. The quinine-nickel complex with 65.3% (w/w) TEHP was the optimal ion-exchanger for quinine selective electrode. The electrode exhibits good selectivity for the quinine in the presence of some inorganic cation and organic cations. The quinindine-nickel complex instead of quinine-nickel complex as an ion-exchanger was successfully applied to the direct potentiometric determination of quinidine pharmaceutical preparation giving an average recovery of 101.5% and relative standard deviation of 2.5%.
농작업 부하 데이터를 활용한 80 kW급 전기구동 AWD 트랙터의 시뮬레이션 모델 개발

The aim of this study is to design a simulation model for an electric All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) tractor to evaluate the performance of the selected component and agricultural work ability. The electric AWD tractor consists of four motors independently for each drive wheel, and each motor is combined with an engine generator, a battery pack, and reducers. The torque data of a 78 kW-class tractor was measured during plow tillage and driving operation to develop a workload cycle. A simulation model was developed by using commercial software, Simulation X, and it used the workload as the simulation condition. As a result of simulation analysis, the drive system, including an electric motor and reducers, was able to cope with high load during plow tillage. The SOC (State of Charge) level was influenced by the output power of the motor, and it was maintained in the range of 50~80%. The fuel consumed by the engine was about 18.23 L during working on a total of 8 fields. The electric AWD tractor was able to perform agricultural work for about 7 hours. In the future study, the electric AWD tractor will be developed reflecting the simulation condition. Research on the comparison between the simulation model and the electric AWD tractor should be performed.
Optimization of the Spreadable Modified Butter Manufacturing by Response Surface Methodology

The aim of this study was to optimize the manufacturing condition of spreadable modified butter by RSM. Based on the central composite design, the degree of optimization was expressed as a SFC as a dependent variable (Y, %) determined by NMR with 23 experimental groups. Three independent variables were the contents of butter (X1, 35-75%), the contents of grape seed oil (X2, 15-35%), and the contents of hydrogenated soybean oil (X3, 0-4%). As the result, SFC at 10oC was ranged from 32.37 to 42.76%. In addition, the regression coefficients were calculated for SFC at 10oC by RSREG. The regression model equation for the SFC was Y=39.18-0.04X1X3. Consequently, the optimal contents for manufacturing spreadable modified butter were determined as 55.18% for butter, 40.78% for grape seed oil, and 4.08% for hydrogenated soybean oil, respectively. The predicted response value for SFC at 10oC was 30.20%, comparable to the actual experimental SFC value as 29.85%. Finally hardness and spreadability in reference butter and spreadable modified butter produced under the optimal conditions was measured. The hardness in spreadable modified butter was 31.80 N as compared to 69.92 N in reference butter. The spreadability in spreadable modified butter was 5.6 point as compared to reference butter. This difference may be due to the contents of solid fat by butter and hydrogenated soybean oil. This study showed that the SFC value at 10oC could be a suitable indicator for the manufacturing spreadable modified butter to predict important attributes such as mouth feel, hardness and spreadability.
