In this paper, we present a new technology of optic configuration for Surface Defect Inspection of Cold Strip. Because of various causes such as surface roughness of material, background images and defect features are different, as respectively. Therefore, the conventional optic method can generates less detectability and classification rate. In order to solve the problem, we propose a simple optic method using the difference between camera and lighting.

We developed an inspection system to detect defects at edge of strip. Normally, the edge side of strip has many defects against inside before/after milling. And the status of strip edge is not good such as wave, roughness and color variation. An inspection system has difficult for image processing to detect the defects of this side. So. we developed EDD(edge defect detect) which is able to detect edge crack, bur, surface defects(scab, roll mark) and defect of shearing side.

The purpose of this research is development of a novel design methodology for analog VLSL Programmable analog cells and functional block diagram of a system are basic tools for the design technique. The programmable analog cells are developed using the double MOSFET-C technology. The element values and gain of each programmable cell are a function of gate voltage supplied from the outside. The functional block diagram of linear system can be created by means of the feedback theory, Mason's gain formula, system transfer function, etc. For the application of the established design method, a 2nd-order Chebyshev low pass filter is designed and simulated through PSpice.
