The use of these results were fundamental for developing an oral health education program for parents of children. Methods: This study was conducted using a survey questionnaire on 206 parents of children who were educated with oral health at preschool child educational facilities in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do from 1 July 2008 to 30 August 2008. Most of parents seemed aware of the importance of dental health at child`s age, whereas 41.7% responded that they were not sure if they were well-instructed on how to brush their children`s teeth. Just over half of parents(55.8%) had been advised on how to brush teeth well and 55.1% of them head been given proper information regarding the brushing method from the dentist.
