This paper presents a class of nonrecursive digital filter which lends itself to high speed processing applications because it avoids dedicated hardware multipliers. The proposed nonrecursive filter is constructed as a cascade o basic section, each characterized gy coefficients of integer powers of two, since multiplication by a power of two can easily be implemented without a hardware multiplier, the proposed filter does not require costly multipliers and can be operated at a speed comparable to that of an adder. Hence, it could be used for real time video type signal processing.

The aim of this study was to improve the channel transmission rate and SNR relationship of the delta modulation of speech. This aim has been achieved by taking advantage of the redundancies in the intersyllable and inter-word quiet time of speech. While preserving the dynamic range and SNR of adaptive delta modulation, the transmission bit rate has been reduced with only a slight increase in system complexity. Quantitatively, the improvement in the necessary channel rate is 120%.

In this paper, frequency multiplier, using an integrator and an exclusive OR gate wa discussed. This frequency multiplier that can be used for multiplying the frequency by 2ⁿ times. By cascading n such stage in sequence, a frequency multiplication of 2ⁿ can be achieved. The circuit adjustedments are simpler and operation is more reliable.

本 論文에서는 impulse性 雜音 에너지를 利用한 母音의 pitch 檢出法을 취급 하였다. pitch의 檢出은 에너지 比較法에 의한 有聲音ㆍ無聲音 識別 出力과, 高域通過 瀘波器, 全波整流 回路, 短時間 積分器로 構成된 impulse 雜音 에너지의 出力을 論理的 結合 함으로써 可能하였다. 試作回路를 만들어 實驗한 結果 正確한 pitch를 얻을 수 있었으며, hardware의 構成이 간단하고 경제적이며 지연시간이 充分히 적으므로 實時間 音聲信號 處理를 目的으로 하는 分野에서 實用 可能한 方法이다. In this paper, using impulsive noise energy in speech signal processing, a vowel pitch detection method is disscussed. As AND product with output of Voiced/Unvoiced discriminator and output of impulsive noise energy detector consists of high pass filter, full wave rectifier and short time integrator, the pitch detection is possible. The hardare of this technique is made and experimented. In this experimental results, precision pitch is obtained. Since the delay time of this system is sufficiently small, real time signal prossing is possible.

A speech processing system has been developed which is capable of providing an accurate indication of whether or not a given speech segment is voiced or unvoiced. In comparision to other existing techniques, this one avails itself for easy implementation, and it offers a realiable voiced/unvoiced decision even in the presence of some competing speech. A voiced/unvoiced decision method has been described based on classical spectral energy distribution for voiced and unvoiced speech signal.

Metro optical Ethernet 소프트웨어의 연구

본 논문에서는 메트로 옵티컬 이더넷의 소프트웨어 구조에 관한 연구를 위하여 10기가 비트 이더넷 스위치에 적용될 QoS 지원 소프트웨어의 적용성을 자원할당 방식 시그널링 프로토콜인 RSVP와 트래픽 특성에 따라 CoS를 구분하는 DiffServ가 10 기가비트이더넷 스위치에 활용 가능한지를 네트웍크 프로세스 처리 능력과 확장성 측면에서 분석하였다. 결론적으로 RSVP, Diffserv와 802.1p는 구현 및 상혼 연동이 가능하다. 그러나 이것은 기업 내부망으로 한정된다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 일반적으로 중소규모의 특정 기업의 내부망에 위의 기술들을 구현하는 것은 어려움이 없다. 그러나 공중망에서의 적용은 아직까지는 어려움이 많이 존재하며 서비스 제공자간의 연동은 거의 불가능하다. 따라서 이러한 기술들은 End-to-End QoS를 보장하는 것에 목적을 두고 있다.

2차원 2차 Digital Filter의 Limite Cycle에 관한 연구

In this paper a general second-order digital filter section is proposed. One of the two quantizers used in the filter applies controlled rounding which has the effect that limite cycles are completely eliminated under constant-input conditions. Furthermore, the configuration of the filter is such that multipliers can be saved in case the filter is used as on all pass filter or as a filter with zero of transmission on the unit circle in the Z domain.

In the paper, we present an effective remote monitoring system which can monitor the working conditions of men and machines in the assembly line and count the assembled PCB automatically. The proposed system consists of a multimedia PC. CCD camera with pan/tilt and zoom driver and communication cable. The remote monitoring system captures the images in the assembly line and send them to the manager in the remote office. The manager can pan, tilt and zoom the CCD camera by the remote control to monitor any position of the assembly line more detaily. For the automatic counting of the assembled PCB, image processing techniques such as differential operation of image frames and motion vector estimation are applied to the captured images. The computer simulation is carried out to analyze the performance of the proposed system. The results show that the remote control and automatic counting operations of the system work effectively.
