Sensory marketing is a marketing strategy that stimulates consumers senses and influences their perception, judgment, and behavior. This has been of interest to both academics and practitioners for quite some time, and the recent use of sensory stimuli has attracted more attention as the interactivity of marketing communications and the importance of personal experience grows in importance. In this paper, the characteristics and the trends of the sensory marketing research conducted within the last 5 ~ 10 years are reviewed. First, we review the recent trends in the development of research using the Five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch sensation). We then review recent research on motor sense, which has not been particularly discussed in the existing review articles, but which is increasing in importance in recent years. Finally, this paper reviews the multi-sensory studies approaching the complex influence of multiple sensory stimuli. In particular, we divide the multisensory studies into four groups: 1. Coincidence of meaning between sensory stimuli, 2. Sensory associations, 3. Sensory interactions, and 4. Sensory dominance. Finally, by suggesting future sensory marketing research, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of the latest sensory marketing research flow and to contribute to research in related fields.

작은 손을 가진 피아노 연주자들을 위한 교수 전략 개발을 목적으로 한 국내 피아노연주자들의 손의 크기 조사 연구본 연구는 작은 손을 가진 피아노 연주자나 학생들에게 필요한 교수 전략 개발을 목적으로 이루어졌으며, 2013년 제 5회 한국피아노교수법학회 학술대회 참가자들을 대상으로 한 설문조사와 손이 작은 피아니스트들과의 인터뷰를 통한 결과를 취합하였다. 연구 결과, 피아노를 처음 배우기 시작한 나이와 전공을 결정한 시기가 빠를수록, 성장기에 피아노 연습과 연주 등의 지속적인 학습활동과 손의 스트레칭이나 벌리는 훈련을 많이 할수록, 타고난 손의 크기에 비해 손이 더 잘 벌어지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 손을 확장시킬수 있는 손의 스트레칭 훈련 방법과 신체 부상의 위험 등 주의점에 대해서도 연구하였다. The purpose of this study is to develop teaching strategies for pianists or students with small hands, and the results are collected through a survey with participants of 2013 5th Korean Association of Piano Pedagogy Conference and interviews with pianists with small hands. In the results of the study, their hands could be more extended compared to their hands`` size when they started learning playing the piano or deciding their major earlier, or they had more continuous learning activities like practice and performance or received more training such as stretching or extension of hands. This study included the method of hand stretching to extend hands and precautions not to get physical injuries.

2018년 현재 국내의 타투 산업은 2만 명의 업계 종사자와 2백만 명에 육박하는 소비자 층을 갖고 있지만, 여전히 유사 의료 행위라는 명목 아래 불법으로 취급되고 있다. 본 연구는 대한민국 타투계의 현 상황과 이에 따른 제도화 과정의 의미를 고 찰한다. 국내 타투 업계 종사자들을 대상으로 참여관찰 및 심층 면접을 진행하고 이를 제도주의, 예술 제도론, 전문직업화의 문헌 연구로부터 도출한 제도화 과정의 분석틀을 기반으로 분석 및 해석하였다. 이를 통해 국내 타투계는 제도화와 전문직 업화 과정에 있는 것을 확인 할 수 있었고 사회와 대중들의 요구를 받아들여 윤리적 문제 혹은 사회 이슈가 반영되어있는 그들만의 규율과 관습을 만들어가고 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 정부 차원의 체계적인 교육 시스템과 최소한의 의료 보 건 보장 시스템 확충의 필요성을 제기하며, 아울러 국내 타투계의 안정적인 제도화와 타투이스트라는 직업의 전문화를 위해 타투계 내부적인 노력 또한 불가피함을 제언한다. There are over 20,000 tattooists, and more than 2,000,000 people have enjoyed their tattoo arts in South Korea. However, the South Korean tattoo world retains unenviable notoriety as the government does not yet legitimize the industry by legalization. This thesis examines the tattoo world in South Korea from the perspective of institutionalization with the goal of understanding the current state of South Korea s tattoo industry and the hardships it faces to fully institutionalized. We established the framework by examining the theoretical studies of institutionalization, the institutional theory of the arts and professionalization. Then, we conducted in-depth interviews with full-time, career tattooists and carried out observations at their workplaces. Significant findings include: (1) ongoing institutional processes in the current South Korean tattoo world is at the processes of “habitualization” and “objectification,” based on Tolbert and Zucker s(1999) institutionalization model; (2) the phase of full institutionalization of South Korean tattoo world would be to be legalized and professionalized; (3) both internal and external conflicts were discovered to impede full institutionalization. According to the findings, we suggest that the tattoo industry nationwide needs supporting professional associations, formal educational and medical systems, and informed public to accomplish full institutionalization. We conclude that support from the community, government, and the South Korean tattoo world itself is necessary to develop the South Korean tattoo industry into a thriving global cultural industry.
Institutional Endorsement and its Spillover Effect within Business Groups

Firm reputation is one of important sources to survive and gain competitive advantage. Previous researchers argue that institutional endorsement builds reputation and this reputation spills over affiliated organizations. However, there is little empirical evidence to support reputation spillover effect among business group affiliates. This study attempts to fill this gap by examining market responses to an affiliated firm’s additions to and deletions from a sustainability index. Findings suggest that there is asymmetric reputation effect and reputation spillover effect within business group affiliates. Further, this spillover effect is stronger among some business group member firms than others.
