Diphone 단위 의 hidden Markov model을 이용한 한국어 단어 인식

본 논문에서는 한국어 음성인식에 적합한 음성 인식 단위에 대해서 연구하였다. 좋은 음성 인식 시스템을 구현하기 위해서는 발음된 음성내의 조음화현상을 처리할 수 있는 인식단위를 선택해야만 한다. 따라서 음소보다 개념적으로 확대된 인식단위가 필요하게 되는데, diphone은 음소간의 전이영역을 modeling하기때문에 좋은 인식 단위가 될 수 있다. Diphone을 인식 단위로 할 경우에 안정적인 음소영역을 diphone사이에 삽입할 수도 있다. 7명의 남성화자가 발음한 74단어로 구성된 고립단어 인식 실험결과 diphone을 2-state HMM으로, 터짐소리 `ㅂ',`ㄷ','ㄱ'와 묵음을 제외한 음소에 대해서 1-state HMM으로 나타냈을 때 가장 높은 인식률을 보였다. 이때 드물게 발생하는 diphone들을 하나의 단위로 merging했을 때 인식률이 $93.98\%$에서 $96.29\%$로 향상되었다. 또한 merging된 diphone과 제안한 국소보간법 (local interpolation technique)을 사용함으로써 $97.22\%$까지 인식률이 향상되었다. In this paper, speech units appropriate for recognition of Korean language have been studied. For better speech recognition, co-articulatory effects within an utterance should be considered in the selection of a recognition unit. One way to model such effects is to use larger units of speech. It has been found that diphone is a good recognition unit because it can model transitional legions explicitly. When diphone is used, stationary phoneme models may be inserted between diphones. Computer simulation for isolated word recognition was done with 7 word database spoken by seven male speakers. Best performance was obtained when transition regions between phonemes were modeled by two-state HMM's and stationary phoneme regions by one-state HMM's excluding /b/, /d/, and /g/. By merging rarely occurring diphone units, the recognition rate was increased from $93.98\%$ to $96.29\%$. In addition, a local interpolation technique was used to smooth a poorly-modeled HMM with a well-trained HMM. With this technique we could get the recognition rate of $97.22\%$ after merging some diphone units.

Objectives: The objectives of this research were to develop and evaluate a cell phone application based on the standard protocol for personal health devices and the standard information model for personal health records to support effective blood glucose management and standardized service for patients with diabetes. Methods: An application was developed for Android 4.0.3. In addition, an IEEE 11073 Manager, Medical Device Encoding Rule, and Bluetooth Health Device Profile Connector were developed for standardized health communication with a glucometer, and a Continuity of Care Document (CCD) Composer and CCD Parser were developed for CCD document exchange. The developed application was evaluated by five healthcare professionals and 87 users through a questionnaire comprising the following variables: usage intention, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, perceived risk, and voluntariness. Results: As a result of the evaluation of usability, it was confirmed that the developed application is useful for blood glucose self-monitoring by diabetic patients. In particular, the healthcare professionals stated their own views that the application is useful to observe the trends in blood glucose change through the automatic function which records a blood glucose level measured using Bluetooth function, and the function which checks accumulated records of blood glucose levels. Also, a result of the evaluation of usage intention was 3.52 ± 0.42 out of 5 points. Conclusions: The application developed by our research team was confirmed by the verification of healthcare professionals that accurate feedback can be provided to healthcare professionals during the management of diabetic patients or education for glucose management.
의료기관 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 : 외래환자 중심으로

One of the most important things for hospital managements is understanding the patients' needs. The aim of this study is to analyse the priorities of the factors influencing patients' choice for hospital with analytic hierarchy process (AHP), which can derive the relative importances of factors. With understanding the factors that influencing patients' choice for hospital, the proper methods to improve hospital reputation and health care quality could be determined. Among 12 factors, speciality of hospital, number of departments, staff kindness, doctor-patient communication, and patients' visit time were relatively more important and higher priority. Whereas, public transport accessibilities, hospital equipments, and parking lots were relatively less important and lower priority. These results could be used to improve hospital reputation and health care quality effectively. Therefore, the hospitals in Gwangju should consider the factors that influencing patients' choice and improve policies for hospital marketing strategies for better hospital reputations and health care quality.
2D 필터링을 위한 열벡터를 제공하는 단일 SRAM 기반 라인 메모리 시스템

2D filterings are used widely for image processing applications. A line memory system is to provide an N×1 column vector every cycle for N×N 2D filtering. A line memory is a memory that can store the entire data in a horizontal line of an image. In general N line memories constitutes a line memory system to provide N×1 column vectors. However, as the number of SRAMs are increased, the duplicative driver circuits in themselves make the corresponding line memory system inefficient. The memory bandwidth provided by a number of SRAMs and by reading and writing them in parallel, can be sustained by sufficiently expanding the data width of a single SRAM. In this paper a single SRAM based line memory system architecture is presented such that the hardware size can be reduced by a half without any functional degradation. 영상 처리 응용에서는 2차원 필터링이 보편적으로 사용된다. 라인 메모리 시스템은 N×N 필터링을 위해서 필요한 N×1 열벡터를 제공해주는 시스템을 지칭한다. 또한 라인 메모리는 영상에서 한 라인 분량의 데이터를 저장하기 위한 용량을 가진 메모리를 나타낸다. 일반적으로 N×1 열벡터 생성을 위한 라인 메모리 시스템은 N개의 라인 메모리로 구성되어 있다. 그러나 SRAM의 수가 증가하면, SRAM 내부의 구동회로가 반복적으로 사용됨에 따라서 구현 효율성이 낮아지는 문제가 야기된다. 본 논문에서는 단일 SRAM으로 구성된 라인 메모리 시스템의 구조를 제안한다. 이를 위하여 다수의 SRAM이 제공하는 데이터 율과, 매 사이클마다 읽고, 쓰는 데이터 율을 보장할 수 있도록 데이터폭이 충분히 확장된 SRAM을 사용한다. 제안한 라인 메모리 시스템은 기능이나 성능 저하 없이도 50%의 하드웨어 절감을 가능하게 한다.
