Flight Test Applications of an Improved Operational Load Monitoring Device

This paper introduces a load monitoring device and its flight test applications for military aircraft. The device can digitize and record signals from optical fiber sensors and strain gauges. Some key flight parameters can be simultaneously recorded in the device, which is connected to an aircraft data bus cable. The device was installed on a low-speed aircraft and multiple sensors including fiber optic sensors and strain gauges were surface bonded on certain major structures. A total of 40 flight tests were conducted over 2 years. The recorded signals and parameters were successfully analyzed and reviewed to measure strains and vertical landing speeds and to estimate structural loads for over 200 flight hours. Structural load spectra were also obtained using the developed load monitoring device and compared with military specification and design spectra.
Solubility parameter를 이용한 다층 클렌징 오일에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to develop a method to evaluate solubility parameter interactions of cosmetic ingredients in formulations. This experimentation relates to the fabrication of new multi-layer cleansing oil which can remove make-up products such as lipstick, foundation, mascara, eye shadow, etc., and also can wash away dirt and sebum from the skin just in one stage process. Solubility parameter and specific gravity of various cosmetic ingredients are measured to explain the cleanliness of interface, detergency of make-up cosmetics on the skin surface. The results suggest that it is possible for cosmetic chemists to use solubility parameter of cosmetic materials for fabrication of new formulation of 3-layer cleansing oil.

In this study, we found that the design can be configured according to the visual weight in the design of the interface. First of all, interface design has gone through the era of squeeze morphism to express depth and dimension by borrowing part of material design or head design from flat design. This is due to the characteristics of metro UI and flat design, which are difficult to express depth and dimension, but in material design, there was no separate device for inducing eyes, so Gestalt theory showed the principle of visual weight. Positive and negative, the size and placement of regions, proximity, closure, and notion were closely related to visual weight and orientation, and in some cases, it could be applied to the interface. 본 연구에서는 인터페이스의 디자인에 있어 시각적 무게에 따라 디자인을 구성할 수 있음을 알아보았다. 우선 인터페이스 디자인은 스큐어모피즘의 시대를 거쳐 플랫디자인에서 머티리얼 디자인 또는 머리티얼 디자인 일부를 차용해 심도와 차원을 표현하고 있었다. 이는 심도와 차원을 표현하기 어려운 메트로 UI와 플랫디자인의 특징에 의한 것이지만 머티리얼 디자인에서는 시선 유도를 위한 별도의 장치는 없었기에 게슈탈트 이론에서 시각적 무게를 구분할 수 있는 원리에 대해 알아보았다. 포지티브와 네거티브, 영역의 크기와 배치, 근접성, 폐쇄성 그리고 관념성이 시각적 무게와 방향에 대해 밀접한 관련이 있었으며 그를 통해 몇 가지 사례를 통해 인터페이스에 적용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
