The previous design process for a High Voltage Circuit Breaker (hereafter HVCB) includes the steps of ‘basic design’, ‘production’, ‘testing’, and ‘commercialization’ for when a product achieved the targeted performance. If the targeted and satisfactory performance could not be obtained through testing, an improved design was derived through the results of Computer-aided engineering (hereafter CAE) analysis, and this testing process was repeated until the targeted performance was achieved. This process was consumed a significant amount of time and resources. However by utilizing Coupled Fluid-mechanical dynamics analysis, by being able to verify the basic functionality of the circuit brakers (hereafter CB) through pre-analysis before having to manufacture and test prototypes, it was not only possible to minimize the number of design revisions and test cycles required for the testing and manufacturing of the circuit breakers, but it was also possible to optimize the form of the circuit breaker based on the results obtained from CAE analysis in the initial design stages. For this purpose, this research paper proposes a method based on Coupled Fluid-mechanical dynamics analysis. This paper additionally introduces calculations with respect to the reaction forces of the Oil-dash pot (hereafter ODP), which have an obvious influence on the latter half section of actual travel curves.

논문 : 아렌트의 칸트 해석과 공통감의 정치

아렌트의 『칸트 정치철학 강의』는 칸트의 철학을 토대로 재구성된 것이지만, 결과적으로 칸트의 논의에 얼마나 부합하는가에 대한 논쟁이 이어져 왔다. 주류적인 칸트 해석자들의 관점은 아렌트의 칸트 해석은 근본적으로 칸트의 정치철학적인 기획과 달리하므로 칸트의 논의 내에서는 수용될 수 없다는 입장이다. 이와는 반대로 아렌트의 해석을 수용하는 관점은 아렌트의 해석을 통해 칸트의 정치철학이 새로운 가능성을 발견하게 되었다고 평가하는 입장이다. 나는 아렌트의 판단이론과 칸트 해석을 통해, 그간 주목받지 못했던 칸트의 정치철학에 내재한 역동성과 현실 적합성이 드러나게 되었다고 본다. 물론 이러한 관점을 취한다고 해서 전통적으로 이해되어 온 칸트의 정치철학이 도전받는 것은 아니며, 이 양자는 칸트의 철학에서 양립 가능하다고 할 수 있다. 취미판단으로서 칸트의 판단이론(theory of judgement)은 선험적인 미학(transzendental aesthetics)의 가능성에 관한 것이지만, 아렌트가 시도한 정치적인 독해의 가능성도 인정될 수 있다. 아렌트가 주목한 정치적인 독해의 지점은 공통감과 세계시민적 권리의 결합으로서 인간의 정치적인 실존이 구명된다는 점이다. 이로부터 전통적으로 이해되어 온 칸트의 정치철학의 결함이 보완될 수 있다. ‘쓰이지 않은 칸트의 정치철학’을 재구성하려는 아렌트의 보완이란 실천이성과 법이론을 통한 정치철학의 이해라는 기존의 방식에 덧붙여, 자율적인 시민정치의 가능성을 말하는 것이다. After Hannah Arendt`s Lectures on Kant`s Political Philosophy, two sorts of claims have been made from different perspectives. First, according to the main Kantians, Arendt`s interpretation of Kant`s philosophy cannot be regarded as appropriate because of her basic assumptions and approaches that are totally different from theirs. On the other hand, a few hold that her claims suggest a new possible interpretation of Kant`s political philosophy and this new interpretation uncover dynamic aspects of Kant`s philosophy. Arguing for the second position, I clarify Arendt`s claim that our political existence can be manifested by virtue of the connection between sensus communis and the cosmopolitan human right. The connection was originally made by Kant himself but has not been noticed before Arendt`s new interpretations. So Arendt`s enterprise of finding a new original ground of politics could be evaluated as a success. Assuming that Arendt`s enterprise is successful, the followings can be said: first, we now have two viable versions of interpretations of Kant`s political philosophy, and, second, at the same time, the first interpretation, made by the main Kantians who maintain that Kant`s political philosophy is possible only through both practical reason and philosophy of law, may be complemented.

칸트의 숭고에 관하여 -미판단과 숭고판단의 연속성을 중심으로-

칸트의 숭고는 도덕적인 감정과 유사성을 보이기는 하지만, 최소한 『판단력 비판』 속에서는 미학적인 감정으로서 그 지위가 선험적인 해명을 통해서 제시된다. 숭고는 선험적인 감정으로서 미의 감정과 함께 주관의 미학적인 체험의 고유성과 보편성을 밝혀준다. 숭고는 경험적인 대상 체험을 통해서 분석되지도 않을뿐더러, 주관적인 인식능력만으로도 분석될 수 없다. 미와 마찬가지로 숭고 또한 자연에 대한 미학적인 반성의 가능성을 제시한다. 그러나 숭고는 미에 비해 부차적이라는 관점이 지배적이다. 이 글은 숭고가 미와 연속적이라는 점을 지적함으로써 칸트 미학의 편향된 이해를 지적하고, 나아가 숭고논의에서의 미학적인 고유성과 특성을 구명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 반목적적인 자연이 칸트의 숭고논의에서 차지하는 의미가 주목되어야 하며, 나아가 반목적적인 자연이 상상력의 총괄과 역진을 통해 이념과 조우될 수 있음이 고찰되어야 한다. 이를 통해 주관의 이념적 능력이 숭고판단의 근거이지만, 감성적인 표상과 결부될 경우에만 숭고는 선험적인 의미에서 미학적 고유성을 획득한다는 점이 드러난다. In dieser Abhandlung versuchte der Verfasser, die beiden astehtischen Urteile uber das Schone und das Erhabene in Einstimmungsverhaltniss zu bringen. Im Grunde genommen ist asthetisches Urteil im Sinne der Transzendentalphilosophie eine Reflexion der reflektierenden Urteilskraft, und dafur ist sein Prinzip die Zweckmaßigkeit der Natur. Das Asthetische besinnt schon bei Kant als Gefuhl der Lust oder Unlust ein niemals auf Begriff und Erkenntniss deduzierbares subjektives Gemutsvermogen. Das Gefuhl vom Schonen und vom Erhabenen hat einen gleichen Grund hinsichtlich der asthetischen Reflexion sukzessiv betrachtet zu werden. Trotzdem herrscht bis heute uberwaltig eine Interpretationstendenz, die innere Beziehung und Gleichheit des Schonen mit dem Erhabenen zu verleugnen. Hier liegt also der Ausgangspunkt in einem Satz: paralell mussen die beiden Urteile betrachtet werden. Dafur versuchte der Verfasser die Tatigkeit der Einbildungskraft bzw. reflektierenden Urteilskraft beim Erhabeben in Betrachtung zu ziehen und der Verfasser betonte, dass trotz des Kontrastes und Widerstandes das harmonische Spiel der Gemutsvermogen auch durch die Tatigkeit der Einbildungskraft am Erhabenen aktualisiert wird. Ahnlich wie am Schonen hat das Urteil am Erhabenen zweifache Bezugnahme, namlich einmal auf zweckwidrigen Vorstellung des rohen Naturgegenstandes, und zugleich auf Erhebung der Gemutskrafte. Die Bestrebung und Scheiterung der Einbildungskraft an einem Versuch, das Großte zu gelangen, bedeutet gerade die asthetisch dargestellte Grenze am Ubersinnlichen. Diese negative Lust macht immer noch das Asthetische beim Erhabenen aus.

발터 벤야민과 독일 낭만주의

일반적으로 초기 독일 낭만주의는 피히테 철학에서 출발한다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 피히테와 낭만주의의 연관관계는 그리 분명하지 못했다. 벤야민은 낭만주의를 최초로 철학적인 관점에서 조망하여, 피히테와 헤겔의 독일관념론과 차별화한다. 벤야민의 낭만주의 해석은 철학적으로 정당화된 독자적인 근거를 갖는다는 것이며, 낭만주의의 인식론과 예술론은 헤겔로 이어지는 독일관념론과 대결하게 된다. 벤야민은 반성 개념에서 그 단초를 설정하여, 반성의 직접성과 무한성을 통해 열린 형식의 낭만주의의 체계를 설명하고, 체계를 절대적으로 반성하는 낭만주의 철학이 낭만주의의 비평이론의 토대로 작용함을 밝힌다. 이러한 벤야민의 독해방식은 포스트모던적인 낭만주의 해석의 기초를 이룬다. In general, Fichte``s philosophy is known as the starting point of the Early German romanticism. But the relationship between Fichte``s philosophy and romanticism is not very clear. Benjamin makes clear the difference between romanticism and the German idealism developed by Fichte and Hegel, by virtue of exploring romanticism from the perspective of philosophy, and he is the first philosopher to do so. I ague that Benjamin``s interpretation of romanticism is philosophically justified. The epistemology and the art theory of romanticism conflict with German idealism. Benjamin gets a clue from the notion of reflection and explains the system of romanticism via the immediacy and infinity of reflection. The basic concept of romantic reflection becomes the foundation of the art theory and the criticism theory of romanticism. The philosophical uniqueness of romanticism constitutes the understanding of postmodern romanticism.

Demands and trends in high voltage Self-blast circuit breakers are toward compactness and cost efficiency, so most of GIS designers prefer adequate computer simulation in the design phase in order to achieve compact size together with the performance of products. The stroke curve of moving contacts is considered as one of the essential data for a HVCB development and related simulation. For this reason, at the concept design stage, it is necessary to predict stroke data with sufficient precision prior to prototype manufacturing. For this purpose, a coupled fluid-mechanical dynamics analysis method is presented in this paper.

Nowadays, Demands and trends in high voltage Self-blast circuit breakers are toward compactness and cost efficiency, so most of GIS designers prefer adequate computer simulation in the design phase in order to achieve compact size together with the performance of products. However, The CFD commercial software takes a considerable amount of time to simulate the arc phenomenon of the HV circuit breaker. A simplified physical arc model was introduced as a way to overcome these issue and it provides possibility to get relatively simple, and easy to use, simulation software for high voltage Self-blast circuit breakers. Such software has been developed and successfully used in development of Self-blast circuit breakers.

It is very difficult to predict the characteristics of thrust vector control for jet vane wrapped with shroud due to shock wave and expansion wave generated by each vane. Therefore, the current study investigated how vane, vase, shroud and nozzle effects the characteristics of side force and thrust force. In addition, ablation tendency of vane was predicted for modeling and transition tendency of side force and thrust force was examined according to ablation rate increase. Fluid flow analysis program(Fluent) was used to interpret what effects shroud wrapped jet vane has on control characteristics.
