RiC에 대한 기록공동체의 리뷰를 통해 본 기록물 기술표준 개선을 위한 제안

This study suggests an analysis of the reviews provided by international archival professionals on the RiC-CM draft published by ICA EGAD. Some implications for the Korean archival management environment were also suggested. Some professional reviews were accessible through the internet. Italian archival professionals held workshops at various levels for the analysis and discussion of the draft. Duranti, the project director of InterPARES, also gave opinions about the draft in cluding the perspective of digital preservation. In the review of Artefactual, the draft was discussed in terms of system implementation. Reed, the director of Recordkeeping Innovation, also gave a feedback based on the record management experiences in Australia. Some implications can be suggested based on these professional opinions. First, we should try to build a test bed for the adoption of RiC to archival description in the Korean environment. Second, a minimum level of data elements that can secure authenticity and integrity will also be needed. Third and lastly, rich authority data for agents and functions related to archival records and records groups are essential to take full advantage of the standard. 본 연구에서는 ICA EGAD의 RiC-CM 초안에 대한 각국 기록 공동체의 검토의견을 통해 ICA EGAD의 의도와 산출물 초안에 대한 중간평가를 알아보고, 국내 기록관리환경에 필요한 시사점을 도출하였다. RiC-CM에 대한 검토의견 중 일부는 웹을 통해 공개되어 접근할 수 있었다. 이 중 에는 이탈리아의 경우와 같이 국가차원에서 기록공동체가 모여 논의하 고 그 결과를 정리한 경우도 있었고, InterPARES Trust의 대표인 Duranti 와 같이 디지털보존과 관련된 전문가 공동체의 의견도 있었다. 또 한 AtoM 이용자에게 검토의견을 공개했던 Artefactual과 같이 시스템 구현 측면의 관점을 가진 공동체도 있었고, 호주의 기록관리 노하우를 가진 RecordKeeping Innovation의 대표인 Reed의 의견도 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 검토의견을 분석하여 현재 국내 환경에서 필요한 세 가지 과제 를 제시하였다. 우선 RiC의 유용성을 우리의 환경에서 진단하기 위한 테 스트베트 구축을 제안하였다. 그리고 기록물 기술정보를 통해 진본성과 무결성을 확보하기 위한 최소 수준의 데이터 요소 선정 필요성에 대해 서 논의할 필요가 있음을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 통합된 기록물 기술 표준의 활용을 위해 행위자와 기능에 관한 충실한 전거 데이터를 구축 할 것을 제안하였다.

An Experimental Study on Web Link Analysis of the Korean National Archives

In this study, web link analysis of the Korean National Archives has been performed using LexiURL to show the dynamic web flow of the National Archives and to identify which closely related institutions the archives should seek to cooperate with for developing an institutional strategic plan. Inlink and co-inlink analysis were performed and, to identify related institutions of the Korean National Archives, a comparison was made with other countries such as Australia, England and the United States. Through web link analysis, several features can be detected and future directions are suggested. Most inlinks and co-inlink of the Korean National Archives were from public institutions, indicating that relationships with educational or research institutions are weak. Moreover, Korean National Archives involve fewer web links related to international activities than other countries. Proceeding from these results, educational function, research function and international activities should be fortified. Korean National Archives need to provide more materials for supporting educational and research activities and more cultural interchange among related institutions. Further research with different heritage institutions such as libraries or museums is needed.

산업별 시 · 도간 경제교역량 추정

A core question in studies of regional economic interactions and effects analyses is how to develop the trade flows between regions for each industry sector. The interregional trade flows not only contribute to understanding the economic interrelations between regions, but also play key roles to construct an MRIO (multiregional input output) type economic model, which addresses many controversial issues of economic impacts occurred from natural or man-made disasters in a specific region. Although the direct survey on the flows is the most ideal approach, still it is hard to apply because of the huge costs. In case of South Korea, the national input-output (IO) tables, which are published by the Bank of Korea every fifth year, have been the only available IO source. Recently in 2007, the Bank of Korea has released Interregional IO (IRIO) and trade flows data set for six large regional boundaries. However, to be useful MRIO or IRIO model, still it should be constructed at the sub-regional level. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to estimate the interregional trade flows of sixteen regions for sixteen economic industry sectors. Because the economic data are only available for total domestic outputs, his study will apply Geographically Weighted Regressions (GWR) econometric analysis, and anticipates a cornerstone developing an MRIO type economic model for South Korea or tracing the changes of trade patterns. 지역경제의 상호작용과 그 영향력에 대한 연구에서, 각 산업별 지역 간 경제교역량의 직접적인 조사는 매우 중요하다. 특히, 직접 조사는 지역 간 산업연관모형(Interregional 혹은 Multiregional Input Output Model; IRIO 혹은 MRIO)을 구성하는 기본 항목이므로, 일본이나 EU 등에서는 이미 광범위하게 시행되고 있다. 우리나라의 경우, 현재 한국은행에서 5년 주기로 발간되는 국가 차원의 산업연관표 및 최근에 공포된 2003년 기준 6개 광역권에 대한 IRIO모형이 있을 뿐, 지역 단위의 직접조사는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 이로 인해, 특히 미국에서 활발하게 진행되고 있는 특정 지역에서 발생한 자연재해나 테러 등에 따른 국가적 피해와 그 재해로 인한 다른 지역들의 경제적 파급충격, 또는 그 예상되는 피해규모에 따른 공적자금의 지역 배분 문제와 같은 다양한 정책적 이슈들을 공론화하기 힘들다. 본 연구는 따라서, 16개 시ㆍ도 수준의 16개 산업별 지역내총생산을 기반으로 하여, 각 지역의 총생산에 필요한 투입물의 원산지역, 즉 이입량을 추정하는 방식을 통해 각 지역 간 경제교역량을 추정하고자 한다. 본 연구가 비록 16개 산업의 16개 시ㆍ도지역 간 경제교역량의 추정에 한정되나, 차후 이 연구를 통해 지역 간 산업연관모형의 개발, 각 재화별 교통량 추정, 혹은 시계열 분석을 통해, 한국 시ㆍ도지역 간 경제교역량의 변화추이를 발견하여 이에 대한 산업별 정책 등을 제안할 수 있는 등, 다양한 분야로 연구가 지속될 수 있을 것이다.

관찰 트위터 활동의 과학탐구로서의 가능성과 과학탐구활동을 위한 SNS 플랫폼의 개선점 모색

This study examines the possibility that simple posting tweet activities like posting a photo with a short mention would allow a scientific inquiry. Seventy-two university students participated and posted place-based living thing observation tweets. Five hundred and eighty-six tweets and 59 reports from participants were analyzed to explore characteristics of observation twitters and participants' perspectives on observation twitter activities. The analytic framework on tweets was built upon six categories, including "lecture", "knowledge", "inference", "change", "opinion", and "situation". The data showed that more than 80 per cent of tweets were simple forms, like posing a photo with a short comment. In contrast, 6 per cent of tweets were more sophisticated forms, revealing more than four categories. The categories "change" and "inference" were deeply related to presenting the more complicated situations and detailed observations. To describe and explain changing processes, participants would consider various possible cause and effect relations and relate their prior knowledge with their observation. Most of the participants reported that the influence of the observation Twitter activity allowed them to pay more attention to their daily environment and living things. Observation Twitter served as an appropriate tool for users to enjoy and experience the scientific inquiry process. The research result discussed the implications of further developing an online platform as a scientific inquiry tool.

맹장에서 발생한 고립성 용종양 신경절 신경종

A ganglioneuroma is a very rare neoplasm in the gastrointestinal tract and consists of ganglion cells, nerve fibers, and supporting cells. A gastrointestinal ganglioneuroma is occasionally related to inherited diseases, like neurofibromatosis type I and multiple endocrine neoplasm type 2b. We have experienced a case of a solitary polypoid ganglioneuroma in the cecum of a patient with no history of inherited diseases. The patient was a 56-yr-old male who had suffered from dyspepsia for a year. On the colonoscopic examination, a sessile polyp, measuring 0.7×0.7 cm in greatest dimensions, was discovered and eliminated. The remaining large intestine was unremarkable. Microscopically, the polyp was composed of isolated or nested ganglion cells admixed with a proliferation of spindle cells in the mucosa and the submucosa. The background showed interspersed cystic glands in an expanded lamina propria. Immunohistochemically, the ganglion cells were positive for NSE and NeuN while the spindle cells demonstrated a positive response to S-100 protein. Since a ganglioneuroma has a benign nature, complete resection is the treatment of choice.

어린이 그림책을 위한 주제명표 개발 연구: 『A to Zoo』를 바탕으로

Subject headings support the effective access of children's picture books. However, it is difficult to select subject terms from titles or table of contents in children's picture books because of their relatively little textual information. Therefore, it is necessary to assign subject terms to each picture book. However, it is not adequate to use general subject headings because the types and levels of general subject headings are different from special subject headings for the children's materials. For this reason, this study aims to develop subject headings for children's picture books. The subject terms in A to Zoo were selected, and the selected terms were translated into Korean and modified for the Korean culture and language. Other reference books, such as Elementary Korean Dictionary, were also used to determine adequate terms for children. The resulting subject headings were assigned to the recommended picture books for children and used to search by subject, browse, and recommend books. 주제명은 이용자가 어린이 그림책을 효과적으로 접근하도록 지원한다. 그러나 어린이 그림책은 다른 자료에 비해 표제나 목차와 같이 자료 자체에서 주제명을 선정하기가 어렵다. 또한 텍스트 외에 그림이 주는 정보량이 큰 편이다. 따라서 그림책의 주제접근을 위해서는 별도의 주제명 목록을 작성할 필요가 있다. 그런데 어린이 그림책에 일반 도서용으로 개발된 주제명을 그대로 사용하기는 적절하지 않을 수 있다. 주제명의 유형과 수준이 상이할 수 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 어린이 그림책에 적합한 주제명표를 개발하고자 하였다. 기본 주제명의 선정을 위해서는 영미권에서 발행된 그림책 주제명표를 참고하였는데, 이 과정에서 우리 문화와 언어에 맞도록 기존의 표목을 수정․추가하였다. 또한 그림책의 주요 독자층인 어린이에게 적합한 표목을 선정하기 위해 초등국어사전과 같은 참고자료도 활용하였다. 그리고 시범적으로 구축된 주제명표를 어린이 그림책을 대상으로 한 권장도서 목록에 적용하여, 주제검색이나 브라우징, 도서 추천 등에 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다.
