        Carbononooxide poisoning (CO poisoning) has been one of the most serious public health problems in Korea. Mainly due to the unique heating and cooking system with anthracite coal briqutte. Carbon monooxide poisoning should be highest desease in winter. The author has made an epidemiological survey on the CO-poisoning in Taegu. during the period of Jan.l, 1977 to Feb.28, 1978. The data were collected from the four general hospital in Taegu. The summary of the study are following ① In 1977. there were occured 1035 CO-poisoning patients. ② The incident was slightly higher in female than in male. ③ Monthly, the inident is highest in Dec. and lowest in Jun. ④ From 5A.M, to WA.M there were occured above one half of patients ⑤ To minimize the waiting time, nine facilities and information system are rcquried.

        The purpose of this thesis is to study on the stability condition that is most important in the growth theory. It is convenient, usually, to define a stability condition by the requirement that output and employment be growing at some constant proportional rates and that net saving and investment be a constant fraction of output. There are two approaches which estimate stability condition. One is some plausible mechanism to drive the one or more variables among the s(saving ratio), v(capital output ratio), g(the rate of labor force growth) into configuration. The other (Vintage Model) assumes that the substitution between production factors is made into representing over fairly long periods of time. The characteristics of Vintage Model are as follows ① Vintage is described by the time invested. ② The production capacity is differentiated ③ By the economic life time with obsolescence, the stability condition is checked, the stability condition of Vintage Model is obtained by changing variable μ in the equation g+λ=as(1-e^(-μd)) The two approaches are like in respect that the stability condition are obtained, but the latter is more real than the former in the view that the homogenity of capital is excluded.

        JPEG2000의 동적 ROI 코딩에서 개략적인 분할을 이용한 빠른 마스크 생성 기법

        It takes a long time for the users to view a whole image from the image server under the low-bandwidth internet environments or in case of a big sized image. In this case, as there needs a technique that preferentially transfers a part of image, JPEG2000 offers a ROI(Region-of-Interest) coding. In ROI coding, the users see the thumbnail of image from the server and specifies some regions that they want to see first. And then if an information about the regions are informed to the server, the server preferentially transfers the regions of the image. The existing methods requested a huge time to compute the mask information, but this thesis approximately computes the regions and reduces the creating time of the ROI masks. If each code block is a mixed block which ROI and background are mixed, the proper boundary points should be acquired. Searching the edges of the block, getting the two points on the edge, to get the boundary point inside the code block, the method searches a mid point between the two edge points. The proposed method doesn't have a big difference compared to the existing methods in quality, but the processing time is more speedy than the ones. 인터넷이 느린 환경이나 이미지가 큰 경우에 서버로부터 이미지를 전부 보는 데는 시간이 걸린다. 이를 위해, 이미지의 일부를 우선적으로 처리하는 방법이 필요하여, JPEG2000에서는 ROI(Region-of-Interest) 코딩으로 제공하고 있다. ROI 코딩은 이미지의 thumbnail을 사용자에게 보내어 개략적인 이미지를 보고 먼저 보고 싶어 하는 영역을 지정하면, 이 영역에 관한 정보가 서버로 전달되어, 서버는 사용자에게 이 영역을 우선적으로 전송한다. 이를 처리하기 위해, 기존의 방법은 사용자가 지정한 영역을 계산할 때, 섬세하게 계산을 함으로써 영역에 관한 마스크 정보 생성 시간을 많이 요구하였는데, 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법은 개략적으로 영역을 계산하고, ROI 마스크의 생성시간을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 각 블록에서 ROI와 배경이 섞여 있는 블록이면 적절한 경계선을 찾기 위하여 코드블록의 가장자리를 이진 탐색하여 두 경계지점을 얻고, 두 점 간의 중간에 위치한 코드블록 내의 경계점을 얻기 위하여, 두 점 간의 중간 지점을 이진 탐색한다. 이렇게 얻어진 세 점을 지나는 두 직선의 방정식을 이용해서 개략적인 ROI 코딩을 한다. 제안한 방법은 품질 면에서는 큰 차이가 없지만 실행 속도 면에서는 현저하게 빠르다는 것을 보인다.

        Rebinding Dynamics of CO Following Photodissociation of 4.0 M Guanidine HCl-Denatured Carbonmonoxyhemoglobin

        Femtosecond vibrational spectroscopy was used to probe the dynamics of CO rebinding to hemoglobin (Hb), denatured by 4.0 M GdnHCl in D2O at 283 K, after photolysis of HbCO. The stretching mode of 13CO bound to the denatured Hb13CO showed a single band centered at 1922 cm-1, indistinguishable from that of denatured Mb13CO. Geminate rebinding of CO to the denatured Hb was accelerated more than 1000 times, suggesting that the native structure of the Hb is required to suppress efficient geminate rebinding of CO, as is the case in Mb. The geminate yield and rate for CO rebinding are almost the same in both the denatured Hb and Mb. Similarity in the equilibrium spectrum and rebinding dynamics of CO indicates that the state of the denatured Hb is very similar to that of the denatured Mb. In the denatured Hb, quaternary contact of the protein is likely severed, with the denatured protein existing as an independent subunit much like Mb.

        PL 대응체계 구축 방안

        The manager of manufacturing industry just not to have known what to do related to the law of product liability(PL) that was put into operation in July 1, 2002. The law of PL is a public law about defective product, which was established in order to compensate consumer s damages of property and body caused by product, to make sound society by the safety products and to take international competitiveness. But the existing civil law has been having clause that compensation to be taken is limited. The law of PL is resolving this limitations and is characterized by the easy relief from damages of defective product. The decision in the case of Green-man has been a precedent since the court sentenced the manufacturer to liability. The law of PL has been in force in 27 countries, including all of the EU countries, Japan, Philippines and China. It has been shown that the corporations which meet the Global Standard, could survive in global competition. The economic effects by the law of PL are the increase of consumers relief production cost by the lawsuits. This paper will recommend more biref method that is able to cover PSMS by use of QMS. It will make domestic corporation improve in the plan, manufacture and sale of products to meet the Global Standard.

        AHP기법에 의한 관개용수로 조직의 평가

        Agricultural water occupies the largest portion of total water use in Korea, and generally researches on the development of agricultural water have been stressed on the demand of agricultural water itself. But it is unavoidable to change a policy from the development of water resources to cope with the increase of water demand to the effective management of existing water resources.Evaluation of the decrepitude of irrigation facilities and their reasonable maintenance are important for the effective supply and use of agricultural water. Therefore it is necessary to develop evaluation technique that diagnoses the current condition of irrigation canals and suggest a countermeasure to improve the found problems.25 items in 6 classes were selected for the evaluation of irrigation canal systems, and the weighted value between the items was calculated using AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process) method. The current condition of the irrigation facilities was evaluated from the class evaluation marks, and ranking was decided from the total marks between the projects, and finally the priority of the project for the improvement was given. 본 연구에서는 수로조직의 평가를 위하여 경기도 지역에 저수지 6개 지구와 양수장 2개 지구, 총 8개 대상지구의 수로조직을 GPS를 이용하여 용수로의 노선과 현 상태, 수리시설물의 위치 및 문제지점을 조사하고, AHP기법을 이용하여 항목간의 중요도를 산정한 후 각 항목을 5등급으로 구분하고 평점화하였다.5개 부문 25개 항목에 대하여 자료를 수집하고 평가한 결과, 지구별 평점을 이용하여 상대적인 순위를 결정할 수 있었으며, 각 부문별 평점으로 지구별 수로조직의 현 상태와 개선사항을 파악할 수 있었다.
