        생지황(生地黃)이 강제수영부하시험에서 HPA Axis System과 Catecholaminergic System에 미치는 영향

        Object : The effects of Rehmanniae Radix(RR) on HPA Axis system and Catecholaminergic system was investigated. Methods : we performed the Forced Swimming Test(FST). Also the expression of Corticotropin -Releasing Factor(CRF), c-Fos and Tyrosine Hydorxylase(TH) was measured by immunohistochemical method at Paraventricular Nucleus(PVN), Locus Coeruleus(LC) and Ventral Tegmental Area(VTA). Results : 1. The duration of immobility in the Forced Swimming Test was significantly decreased in the Rehmanniae Radix 400 mg/kg groups in comparison with the control group(p<0.05). 2. Comparing to the control group, CRF expression was significantly decreased in the Rehmanniae Radix 400 mg/kg treated group in comparison with the control group(p<0.01). 3. c-Fos expression was significantly decreased at PVN in the Rehmanniae Radix 100 mg/kg treated group in comparison with the control group(p<0.01). 4. TH expression was significantly increased at LC in the Rehmanniae Radix 100 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg treated group in comparison with the control group(p<0.001). 5. TH expression was significantly decreased at VTA in the Rehmanniae Radix 100 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg treated group in comparison with the control group(p<0.001). Conclusion : According to the results, it can be considered that Rehmanniae Radix has antidepressant effect by showing the reduction of immobility in FST through the decreased expression of CRF, c-Fos in PVN and TH in VTA.

        낙동강 중소하천 홍수예경보시스템 구축을 위한 한계강우량 산정과 적용

        본 연구에서는 중소하천 홍수경보시스템 구축을 위한 소유역기반 한계강우량 산정 방법론을 제안하였다. 소유역 말단 하천단면에서 위험유량에 해당하는 한계강우량을 초과하는 강우가 발생하면 위험상황이 발생하고 하천재해에 대응하고 대처하기 위한 경보를 발령한다. 관측강우량과 유역의 수문학적반응특성을 기반으로 하는 한계강우량은 소유역 말단에서 위험상황을 발생하는 유량에 해당하는 특정 지속시간 동안의 총강우량을 의미한다. 지형분석도구인 ArcGIS 기반 Hec-GeoHMS를 이용하여 낙동강유역을 2,268개 소유역으로 분할 후 Hec-HMS모형을 구축하였으며 이를 이용하여 선행토양함수조건과 초기손실 시나리오에 따른 한계강우량을 산정하였다. An procedure for the definition of rainfall threshold value is illustrated in order to develop optimal flood forecasting and warnings systems for small river basins. Threshold overcoming could produce a danger situation in river sites and trigger the prevention and emergency system alert. Rainfall threshold values is based both on the quantitative rainfall observed and the hydrological response of the small river basin. Threshold values specify the rainfall amount for a given duration that generates a danger discharge in a outlet`s cross section and are estimated by hydrological modeling for several scenarios(e.g, Soil Moisture conditions, Initial Abstraction). Nakdong River basin is separated to 2,268 small river basins by using Hec-GeoHMS, rainfall threshold for small river basins are presented for several scenarios.

        다중이용시설 내부에 분포하는 부유 진균의 입경별 농도 특성

        The aim of this study is to examine size-based concentration and genera of airborne fungi distributed in public facilities such as hospital, kindergarten, day-care center and postpartum nurse center and to provide fundamental data in order to prevent respiratory diseases caused by exposure to airborne fungi. Culturable total and respirable concentrations of airborne fungi averaged to $382\;cfu/m^3\;and\;292\;cfu/m^3$ in hospital, $536\;cfu/m^3\;and\;347\;cfu/m^3$ in kindergarten, $334\;cfu/m^3\;and\;266\;cfu/m^3$ in day-care center, and $371\;cfu/m^3\;and\;289\;cfu/m^3$ in postpartum nurse center, respectively. The ratio of respirable to total concentration of airborne fungi in the investigated public facilities was ranged from $55\%\;to\;70\%$ but there was no significant difference among them (p>0.05). The mean I/O ratio of culturable total and respirable concentrations were 0.56 and 0.64 in hospital, 0.72 and 0.91 in kindergarten, 0.33 and 0.45 in day-care center, and 0.63 and 0.73 in postpartum nurse center, respectively. Indoor concentration of airborne fungi did not correlated significantly with indoor temperature and relative humidity (p>0.05) but had a significant positive correlation with $CO_2$ concentration (p<0.01) and surrounding condition (p<0.05). Penicillium spp., Cladosporium spp., and Aspergillus spp. were estimated to over $95\%$ of total airborne fungi identified in the investigated public facilities.

        도장 부서 남성 근로자들의 피부 질환

        Painting is risky work to occupational skin disease. This research was carried out to investigate the prevalence of occupational skin diseases in painting department of a shipyard company in June 1996. Dermatological examination, self-administered questionnaire survey were conducted. Exposed group(n=379) was selected randomly in painting department and control of group(n=151) was selected in those who had not exposed to paints or solvents. The prevalence of contact dermatitis(11.9%) is significantly elevated compared with control of group(2.6%), and odds ratio(OR) is 4.95 (95% confidence interval[CI]: 1.75-14.02). The prevalence of Tinea pedis, the most common skin disease, in exposure group is 48.0%, and its odds ratio(OR) is significantly elevated compared with control group (OR:3.18, 95% CI: 2.06-4.90). Pompholyx is also significantly elevated in prevalence(11.9%) and OR(OR:6.64, 95% CI:2.03-21.69). There were no difference in the prevalence of contact dermatitis, Tinea pedis, and pompholyx by use of personal protective equipments(PPE), job categories, and duration of employment in painting department. In exposure group, 71.1% suffer from contact dermatitis improved in vacation or holiday and 68.9% of them had lesion on exposed area, it suggest that contact dermatitis in exposed group is related to their work. In conclusion, workers in painting department have high risks of contact dermatitis, Tinea pedis, and pompholyx. A health policy should be provided to prevent skin disease among painting department.

        Pin-to-plate Type 대기압 PECVD 방법을 이용해 성장된 다중벽 탄소나노튜브의 전계방출 특성연구

        본 연구에서는 전계 방출소자로 사용하기 위한 탄소나노튜브의 합성 방법으로, pin to plate type의 대기압 플라즈마 소스를 사용한 AP-PECVD(Atmosphere pressure plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition)를 이용하였으며, 이를 통하여 대기압에서 성장된 탄소나노튜브의 구조적 및 전기적 특성을 연구하였다. 유리 / 크롬 / 니켈을 기판으로 사용하여 $400{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ 변화 영역에서 탄소나노튜브를 성장시킨 결과 다중벽 탄소나노튜브가 얻어짐을 알 수 있었다. $500^{\circ}C$에서 성장시킨 탄소나노튜브의 경우 FT-Raman을 이용한 분석 결과 $I_D / I_G$ ratio 가 0.772 임을 관찰하였으며 TEM으로 분석결과, 내부의 그래파이트층은 15 - 20 층, 내부 직경은 10-15nm, 외부 직경은 30 - 40nm 이고, 각 층간의 간격은 0.3nm 임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 전계 방출 문턱전압은 $2.92V/{\mu}m$ 이고, FED 에서 요구되는 $1mA/cm^2$의 방출전류밀도는 $5.325V /{\mu}m$의 문턱전압 값을 가지는 것을 관찰하였다.

        대규모 네트워크의 효과적 보안상황 인지를 위한 벌집 구조 시각화 시스템의 설계 및 구현

        컴퓨터 네트워크 규모의 지속적 확장과 함께 방화벽, IDS, IPS 등의 각종 보안 시스템들은 네트워크 보안과 관련해 더욱더 막대한 양의 정보를 생성하고 있어 보안 담당자가 그 속에 숨겨진 보안 위협의 징후를 탐지하는 일은 더욱 어려워지고 있다. 보안 담당자들의 ‘네트워크의 보안상황 인지’(Network Security Situational Awareness)는 여러 관점에서 발생하는 보안 이벤트들 사이의 관계에 기초하여 전체적인 컴퓨터 네트워크의 보안 상황을 효과적으로 판단하는 것으로 이의 과정은 크게 ‘식별’, ‘이해’, ‘예측’의 3단계로 나눠지며, ‘식별’과 ‘이해’는 그 뒤에 이어지는 ‘예측’과 적절한 대응의 전제 조건이 된다. 그러나 다량의 정보들 속에서 ‘식별’과 ‘이해’ 과정은 더욱 어려워지고 있다. 본 논문은 다량의 정보들의 ‘식별’과 ‘이해’ 단계에 효과적인 것으로 알려져 있는 시각화 기법을 적용하여 대규모 네트워크의 보안상황 인지를 돕기 위해 설계한 ‘허니컴’ 시각화 시스템을 제안하고, VAST Challenge 2012의 데이터를 기반으로 실증적인 효과를 확인하였다. Due to the increase in size of the computer network, the network security systems such as a firewall, IDS, IPS generate much more vast amount of information related to network security. So detecting signs of hidden security threats has become more difficult. Security personnels’ ‘Network Security Situational Awareness(NSSA)’ is effectively determining the security situation of overall computer network on the basis of the relation between the security events that occur in the several views. The process of situational awareness is divided into three stages of the ‘identification,’ ‘understanding’ and ‘prediction’. And ‘identification’ and ‘understanding’ are prerequisites for ‘predicting’ and the following appropriate responses. But ‘identification’ and ‘understanding’ in the vast amount of information became more difficult. In this paper, we propose Honeycomb security situational awareness visualization system that is designed to help NSSA in large-scale networks by using visualization techniques known effective to the ‘identification’ and ‘understanding’ stages. And we identified the empirical effects of this system on the basis of the ‘VAST Challenge 2012’ data.

        Recently, various modalities for noninvasive reduction of adipose tissue, including cryolipolysis, radiofrequency, low-level laser therapy, and high-intensity focused ultrasound, have become available. Among these modalities, cryolipolysisis can selectively target certain tissues rich in lipids. Many preclinical and clinical studies have established the safety and efficacy of cryolipolysis for noninvasive body contouring. However, it can lead to serious adverse effects when performed by untrained clinicians. Thus, to promote the proper and safe use of cyolipolysis, we have summarized the history, basic principles, and adverse effects of cyolipolysis. (Korean J Dermatol 2016; 54(5):325∼328)
