연구는 소방공무원 각 신체 부위별 근골격계질환 관련 자각증상과 질병 및 사고 결근과의 관련성을 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 전국의 소방공무원 8,368명을 대상으로 온라인을 통한 자기기입식 설문 조사를 하였으며, 통계분석을 시도하였다. 그 결과 지난 1년간 질병 결근은 12.9%, 사고 결근은 5.9%가 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 질병 결근 및 사고 결근 모두 신체부위(목)과 신체부위(어깨)의 근골격계질환 관련 자각증상과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 질병 결근의 경우 신체부위(목) 증상자의 20.9%, 신체부위(어깨) 증상자의 19.0%, 사고 결근의 경우 신체부위(목) 증상자의 12.1%, 신체부위(어깨) 증상자의 10.9%로 파악되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 소방공무원의 결근과 근골격계질환 관련 자각증상이 관련이 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 추후 질병 및 사고 결근 감소를 위하여 소방공무원의 근골격계질환에 대한 관리 및 건강관리 프로그램의 운영이 요구된다.

As the feature of fire, it is hard for deep-seated fire to spread to the deeper site, and it also has danger for being re-ignited cause of recontacting with oxygen after being put off. Now it is ruled in the certification criteria of wetting agent used for extinguishing deep-seated fire that the criteria for surface tension is below 33[mN/m] in Korea. For figuring out how much water for fire-fighiting can permeate into combustibles, in this research, the permeating performance is analyzed by measuring the speed of permeating and transmission quantity released after that, by pouring solution whose surface tension is changed by adjusting concentration of surfactant BDG (Butyl Di Glycol) in column From this result, it is can be determined that transmission quantity becomes less and wet area goes wider as surface tension is lower, and it is also able to be analyzed as quantity of absorbed liquid and wet area is increased because fluid permeates into the core.
플랜트 탱크의 좌굴 거동에 근거한 풍하중 설계기준 비교 연구

국내의 플랜트 탱크 설계를 위한 풍하중 기준은 KS B 6283 액체 저장 탱크의 내풍압 및 내진에 대한 설계 요건 등 여러기준에 제시되어 있으나, 그 내용이 서로 다르고 연관성도 없으며 실제의 풍하중을 반영하고 있는지 명확하지 않다. 국내 풍하중 기준의 정당성을 평가하고 적합한 풍하중 기준을 제안하기 위해 외국의 저장 탱크 설계를 위한 대표적 기준인 API 650, ASCE 7-10, EN 1991-1-4의 풍하중 기준 들과 비교분석하였다. 풍동 실험이 수행되어 보고된 논문에 적용된 탱크 제원을 적용하여 기본적으로 각 기준에 의한 압력계수 Cp값을 산정해 비교하고, 탱크 지붕 높이와 지름 비(f/d) 및 탱크 깊이 및 지름 비(h/d)를 변수로 한 각 기준에 의한 풍하중 좌굴해석을 수행하였다. 결과를 분석 종합하여 실제 풍하중에 의한 좌굴 거동을 반영하면서도 설계 시 쉽게 적용할 수 있는 풍하중 기준을 제안 하였다. There are no consistent wind load provisions to design the plant tank in Korea. To suggest the appropriate design wind load, five kinds of specifications including KS B 6283, API 650, ASCE 7-10, EN 1991-1-4 are compared. To evaluate the adequacy of wind load specification in each code first, pressure coefficients were calculated in each code and compared with the results of wind tunnel test. Finite element analyses using linear bifurcation analysis were performed with the parameter of h/d and f/d (h : height of cylinderical part of tank, f : roof heigh, d : diameter of tank). By analyzing the results, appropriate wind load criteria which reflects the real wind actions and easy to apply will be suggested.

In order to develop the on-line measurement system of sliver linear density-variation, the authors made, by try-and-error method, a pneumatic micrometer device which is consisted of specially designed trumpet for passing the sliver-specimen and a back pressure tank with strain transducer. When several kinds of sliver were passed through the trumpet, the back pressure variation in the pressure tank were sensed. And the back pressure-variation data(experiment data) were recorded by X-Y plotter. The experimental data were compared with the data from Uster Evenness Tester for the same sliver specimen. It was founded that, by this comparison, the back pressure-variation data measured by this experiment were proportional to the sliver linear density variation only if the average value of back pressure-variations were proportional to the weight of sliver. The slight deviations between the data from Uster Evenness Tester and from this experiment are caused by the structural characteristics of constituent fibers in sliver specimen.

현대사회가 빠르게 발전함에 따라 지하철은 도시의 대표적인 이동수단으로 발전해왔다. 그러나 2003년 대구지하철 화재사고를 통하여 지하철의 인명안전과 방재의 중요성 인식되었으며, 현재까지 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 특히 지하철 전동차 내장재의 난연화 불연화와 승강장의 스크린 도어 및 안내표시 등이 대표적 결과라고 볼 수 있으나, 지하철 대피기준에 대한 연구의 진행은 미진하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지하철 대피기준 개선의 기초연구를 진행하였다. 그러나 복잡하고 다양한 지하철 전체를 대상으로 하기에는 어려움이 있어, 기존의 연구 중 승강장을 유형화 한 연구를 참고하여 개찰구를 유형화 하였다. 기존 연구의 지하철 역사 승강장의 유형 10개와 본 연구의 개찰구의 유형 8개를 정리하여, 1~4호선 지하철 역사 중 가장 많은 유형을 선정하여 대피 시간을 계산하였다. 대피시간 계산결과가 지하철의 대피 기준 시간 6분을 초과하는 것으로 나타남에 따라 지하철 대피 시간에 대한 기준을 개선하거나 추가적인 조건이 필요하다고 판단되었다. 따라서 지하철 역사에 안전을 위한 시설 및 방재대책이 요구된다. With the rapid development of modern society, subway has become one of the most typical urban transport systems. Since fire accident occurred at Daegu subway in 2003, importance of life safety and disaster prevention have been widely recognized and many studies have been carried out. As a result of these studies, fire-retardant and non-combustible interior material and platform screen door with passenger guide indication device have been developed, but studies on a subway evacuation criteria have been in a stalemate. Therefore, this study is intended to improve the subway evacuation standard. It is very difficult to take into account whole subway system, so a typological approach to a ticket was carried out referring to previous studies focused on a subway platform. this paper selected the most common subway platforms and estimated evacuation time among 10 platforms from previous studies and 8 from this study. As a result, evacuation time exceeded 6 minutes which is the guideline of existing standard. Therefore, it is necessary to update the standard for evacuation time and add supplementary conditions which can help establishing the measures for safety facilities and prevention measures.

The geometrical parameters of spun yarn such as orientation angle, radial position of fiber and length of fiber were measured using the tracer fiber technique and correlations between them were investigated at five different numbers of twist of yarns, i.e., 420, 470, 570, 770, 970 tpm. Length of fiber(L) increased with the value of orientation angle($\theta$) of fiber. However, there were no correlation between length of fiber and radial position of fiber(r/R) as well as between orientation angle of fiber and radial position of fiber. Not only the orientation angle but also its relative frequency of fibers were measured using the tracer fiber technique. Their frequency curves were followed normal distribution and the shape of curves were shifted to higher orientation angle with number of twist of yarns. The mean value of orientation angle of fiber at each radial position showed an increase with the radial position of fiber. The initial tensile modulus of spun yarn determined experimentally showed lower value than theoretically determined for the yarns with low twist levels of 420, 470, 570 tpm. These results can be explained by the slippage between fibers.

소에서 Neospora caninum에 대한 항체가 조사

This study was carried out to investigate the prevalence of Neospora caninum infection in dairy cow and Korean native cattle(KNC), raised in several Chungnam province. To determine the prevalence of antibodies to N caninum, a total of five hundred fifty six sera were analyzed by indirected fluorescent antibody (IFA) test. Five hundred thirty three sera were collected from fifteen dairy herds and twenty three sera were taken from fourteen KNC herds from December 1999 to November 2000. Seropositive ratio of the dairy cattle sera were individually or herdly tested and showed 64.2% and 93.3%, respectively. It was recorded with 78.6% and 47.8% in KNC. The seropositive ratio of dairy cattle was depended on the size of ranch. It was 92.2, 60.7 and 57.9% at the size of less than thirty, thirty to seventy and more than seventy one cattle, respectively. However, it was different from the province of Chungnam. The seropositive ratio to N caninum of dairy cattle were 79.5, 53.1, 61.4 and 31.1% at Gongju, Yeongi, Geumsan and Cheongwon, respectively. It showed difference at the growth stage and sex of cattle. The seropositive ratios of N caninum of calf, heifer, premiparous, multiparous (2nd-5th), multiparous(6>th) and bulls confirmed to 25.0, 50.3, 70.3, 71.2, 50.0 and 50.0%, respectively. It was related with brucellosis in cattle. The infected ones with brucellosis were 75.7% of seropositive ratios to N caninum. The results of this study indicated that N caninum infection was widespread in Chungnam province and confirmed existing with brucellosis in cattle.
