자발성 늑간동맥 출혈로 인한 혈흉, 그리고 이에 의한 급성 신부전에 관한 증례보고

서론: 혈흉은 흉곽 내 구조물들이나 흉벽의 손상으로 인해 발생을 하는데 대부분의 원인이 외상에 인한 것이다. 외상 외의 원인으로 종양, 혈액질환, 폐색전증, 결핵, 괴사성 염증, 가슴 대동맥류 등의 여러 원인이 있을 수 있다. 따라서 원인을 정확하게 규명하는 것이 치료에 중요 한 부분이 될 수 있다. 저자들은 자발성 늑간동맥 출혈로 인한 우측 흉통을 주소로 내원하여 급성 신부전이 동반되어 투석을 시행한 환자의 증례를 보고 하고자 한다. 증례: 환자는 63세 남환으로 고혈압으로 약물 복용하는 것과, 여호와의 증인이라는 종교적 특징 외에 특이사항 없이 우측 흉통을 주소로 내원하였다. 흉부사진 상 우측 흉막삼출이 관찰되었다. 흉관 삽입 후 삼출액 분석 상 혈흉임이 밝혀졌다. 수혈거부 의 종교적 특성으로 수혈을 받지 않았고 지속적인 혈흉으로 인한 급성 신부전으로 8번의 혈액투석을 시행하였다. 혈관염이나 결핵, 종양 등 다른 원인 없이 혈관 조영술 시행 결과 3번째 늑간동맥 출혈이 발견되었고 색전술을 시행하였다. 빈혈에 대해서는 철분제와 적혈구 형성 인자를 투여하였다. 이후 혈흉의 양은 줄어들게 되었고, 소변의 양이 늘어나고, 혈중 요소질소 수치, 크레아티닌 감소와 더불어 혈색소 수치도 상승하여 투석 중단 후 퇴원하였고 외래 추적관찰 중이다. 혈흉과 관련된 다른 특이한 질병 없이 자발성 늑간동맥 출혈로 인한 혈흉과 이에 의한 급성 신부전으로 투석한 예는 국내에 보고 된 경우가 없어서 보고하고자 한다.

한국분리산 PRV-Ba를 이용한 가토 안구지배신경의 추적 연구

Until now peudorabies virus(PRV) has been used a neurotracer, because of it's properties of retrograde & anterograde transport. But it's anterograde transfort is not perfect, so we tested the applicability of the Bartha strain of PRV(PRV-Ba) isolated from South Korea as a neurotracer in the visual system. We performed immunohistochemical study of the rabbit brain after intravitreal injection of the PRV-Ba. After given survival time(24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144hrs), the brain was removed and processed immunohistochemical stain for PRV-Ba. The strong PRV immunoreactivity(PRV-ir) were almost oberserved contralaterally in oculomotor neurons, fro example Edinger-Westphal nucleus, trigerminal nucleus of pons and peritrigerminal zone but locus of innervating sensitive neurons. The latter were weak positive and selective. PRV-Ba immunoreactive neurons were stained strongly in nucleus compared to cytoplasm. This study suggests that PRV-Ba isolated from South Korea is also a useful neurotracer in the motor innervated system like other PRV-strain.

The locus coeruleus(LG) is known to be observed a sexual dimorphism in rat CNS. LC is the largest collections of norepinephrine(NE)-containing neurons in the mammalian brain. Especially in rat, all LC neurons contained NE unlike other mammalians, so that specific reactions were found in the tyrosine-hydroxylase(TH) immunoreactive neurons. Sexual dimorphism of rat LC has affected by genes before sex hormone appeared, thereafter affected by sex hormones. In these day, many scientists founded morphological differences between male and female LC morphology, but differences of entire structure was not founded. Thus we investigated sex differences of the LC neuron's morphology in rat by three-dimensional(3-D) reconstruction using Confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM). We reported that neuron's shape was relatively-large multipolar neurons and neuron's processes in dorsal LC proceeded to ventral direction in the male and female rat. Male had a longer anterior-posterior length than female had in dorsal LC. In addition to middle-LC, male rat's LC had a more thicker posterior region but had not viewed in a previous study. In reverse, female rat's LC had a thicker anterior region like a previous study. This results using 3-D reconstruction by CLSM showed that the male's LC was more wide-ranging than female's relatively.

The immunohistochemical localization of the nerve growth factor (NGF), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNIF) in the developing Mongolian gerbil forebrain was investigated by the immunohistochemical and electron microscopy methods. Generally, the NGF specifically recognizes the neurons, the GFAP does the glia, and the CNIF does the motor neurons. This study demonstrates the location of the NGF, GFAP and CNTF in the developing Mongolian gerbil from the embryonic days 17 (E17) to the postnatal weeks 3 (PNW 3). The NGF was localized at E19 in the olfactocy bulb and the cerebral cortex, expanded to the hippocampus, and the diagonal bond from the late prenatal period to PNW 3. GFAP was observed in the lateral ventricle and the third ventricle at E17, projected into the cerebral cortex at E19. The GFAP was observed to have the largest numbers in several parts of the forebrain at the postnatal days 2 (PND2), while the most numerous CNTF was observed at PNW 2. The CNTF-IR cells were observed only in the postnatal days and were found in the olfactory bulb, cerebral cortex both neuron and neuroglia at PND3. Electron microscopy showed that the NGF, GFAP and CNTF were not related to any connections with any particular subcellular structure. These results suggest that NGF, GFAP and CNTF be related to the neuron and neuroglia at the prenatal and postnatal stages in the developing Mongolian gerbil.

페로몬을 비롯한 화학통신물질들은 곤충의 화학 통신에 이용되는 물질들로 개체군 모니터링, 대량 포획 및 교미교란 등에 폭넓게 이용되고 있다. 본 종설에서는 북방수염하늘소, 솔수염하늘소, 솔껍질깍지벌레, 광릉긴나무좀, 회양목명나방, 솔알락명나방, 매미나방, 복숭아유리나방, 별박이자나방 등 국내 주요 산림해충의 페로몬 연구현황을 소개하고 국외의 연구 결과와 비교하였다. 국내 연구현황 분석을 통해 추후 산림 해충 페로몬 연구 방향을 제시하고 발전 방향에 대해 제언하였다. Semiochemicals including pheromone are chemicals used in chemical communication of insect. Semiochemicals have been widely used for population monitoring, mass trapping, and mating disruption of insect pest. In this review article, the current status of pheromone research of major forest insect pest in Korea such as Monochamus alternauts, M. saltuarius, Matsucoccus thunbergianae, Platypus koryoensis, Glyphodes perspectalis, Dioryctria abietella, Lymantria dispar, Synanthedon bicingulata, and Naxa seriaria was introduced, and the results were compared with those reported in other countries. Based on the analysis of current pheromone research of forest insect pests, future studies and development direction was suggested.
회양목명나방(Glyphodes perspectalis)의 생태 특성

Ecological Characteristic of Glyphodes perspectalis was investigated in laboratory and field condition. Larvae of Glyphodes perspectalis had 6 instars, and color of head and body was black and yellowish green, respectively. Larval periods were 24 days. Egg was flat and round. Color of egg was transparent at an early stage, and became milky later. Color of pupa was yellowish green and became dark brown later. Pupal periods were 10.5 days. Adult of Glyphodes perspectalis emerged twice a year. First emergency was from early June to late June, and second from middle August to early September.
