MVRS's measuring principles are based on the Doppler principle. It measures the velocities near the muzzle using the doppler signal output from the antenna and then predicts the velocity of the bullet leaving the muzzle by performing the regression analysis on previous measured velocities. There are a number of error sources when calculating the muzzle velocity. Antenna has long term frequency stability error and the doppler signal from the antenna has noise. These two error sources influence the accuracy of estimated velocities from the doppler signal. Estimated velocity errors result in the random error of data statistics. And when performing a regression analysis these random error components are transferred to the fitting error component. This study also analyzed the error components according to the hardware limitations of MVRS-700 and the signal processing method, and presented the calculated uncertainty of muzzle velocity.

폐쇄성 무정자증 환자의 신선고환조직 정자와 동결고환조직 정자의 운동성이 임신율에 미치는 영향

Objective: ICSI with testicular sperm could achieve optimal fertilization and pregnancy. This study was performed to observe the influence on fertilization and pregnancy of motility of fresh testicular sperm and sperm extracted from frozen-thawed seminiferous tubules in obstructive azoospermia. Materials and Methods: We analysed clinical outcome of ICSI using fresh testicular sperm and sperm extracted from thawed seminiferous tubules. The presence of motility were compared to determine the factor for optimal fertilization and pregnancy rates. Results: In 316 cases of TESE-ICSI in obstructive azoospermia, ICSI with fresh testicular sperm (fresh sperm group) were 163 cases and ICSI with sperm testicular sperm extracted from frozen-thawed seminiferous tubule (thawed sperm group) were 153 cases. The fertilization rates were 71.3% and pregnancy rates were 32.5% in fresh sperm group, in thawed sperm group, 65.1% and 33.3% respectively. The fertilization and pregnancy rates of motile and non-motile testicular sperm were 72.9% and 33.6%, 50.0% and 18.2%, respectively (p<0.05). The fertilization and pregnancy rates of motile and non-motile sperm extracted from the thawed seminiferous tubule were 67.8% and 34.7%, 55.1% and 28.1%, respectively (p<0.05). The comparative of the results of ICSI using motile fresh testicular sperm and motile sperm extracted from thawed seminiferous tubule, fertilization and pregnancy rates were not significantly different (72.9% and 33.6%, 67.8% and 34.7%, respectively). Conclusion: These results suggest that successful pregnancy in TESE-ICSI treatment is influenced by the motility of fresh testicular sperm and sperm extracted from thawed seminiferous tubule in obstructive azoospennic patients.

Cell Soft System-3000과 Sperm Quality Analyzer-V를 이용한 정자 운동성 비교 분석

Objective: To evaluate the results of CASA systems and to compare its results. Methods: Fifty semen sampales were analysed. Concentration, motility and forward progression were evaluated simultaneously on the same semen samples using Cell Soft System-3000 (CS system) and Sperm Quality Analyzer-V (SQA system). Results: Mean semen volume was $2.8{\pm}1.2\;ml$. Mean value of sperm concentration, motility, forward progression using CS system were $83.4{\pm}45.7{\times}10^6/ml$, $52.3{\pm}16.4%$ and $48.6{\pm}13.4%$, respectively. And mean value of sperm concentration, motility, forward progression using SQA system were $78.2{\pm}42.9{\times}10^6/ml$, $57.0{\pm}24.0%$ and $50.6{\pm}21.9%$, respectively. There were no statistical significancy of sperm concentration, motility, forward progression between the two devices. Conclusion: SQA system variables well correlated with the CS system. As a screening test for semen quality, CS system and SQA system is considered as useful in the management of male infertility.

Object : To verify the effect of the lipoxygenase inhibitor and cycloxygenase inhibitor on meningioma cell proliferation. Method : Using two meningioma cell lines, cell proliferation was determined at 96 hrs after adding inhibitor (AA861, Nordihydroguaiaretic acid(NDGA), Indomethacin, acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid(AKBA) into medium by methyl tetrazolium salt/phenazine methosulfate(MTS/PMS) non-radioactive cell proliferation assay. We checked optical density with 490nm wavelength UV and this value was used as a proliferative index. The percent of inhibition was also calculated from this value. Conclusion : Indomethacin and NDGA showed no effect on meningioma proliferation. AA861 also showed no significant inhibitory effect, but AKBA demonstrated a significant inhibitory effect on meningioma cell proliferation.

CDMA 회선 데이터 서비스를 이용한 CDMA망과 PSTN 망간의 음성 전송에 관한 연구

CDMA 이동단말기와 PSTN 단말기간의 음성 암호를 실현하기 위해서는 EVRC 음성 프레임이 두 이종망간에 신호 변환 없이 전송되어야 한다. 기존에 이미 설치되어 있는 상용망의 수정 없이 이러한 요구 조건을 만족하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 음성 프레임을 CDMA 회선 데이터 채널을 통해 실시간으로 전송하는 기법을 제안한다. CDMA 회선 데이터 채널을 통해 음성을 전송하는 과정에서 발생하는 전송 지연의 원인을 분석하였고 이러한 음성 전송 지연을 극복하기 위해 TCP control flags 제어기법과 보코더 출력 속도에 따른 가변 음성 블록 구성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법을 적용하여 실험한 결과 전송 지연이 평균 2초에서 570ms로 약 70%정도 개선됨을 확인하였다. To realize the voice privacy between CDMA mobile phone and PSTN terminal, the voice frames shall be transmitted transparently between the heterogeneous networks. For satisfying this requirement, we propose the method which transmits voice frames using the CDMA circuit data channel in real time. In this paper we analyze the causes of voice delay which occurs during voice transmission using circuit data channel. And in order to overcome this kind of delay, the technique controlling the TCP control flag and the variable audio block construction algorithm according to the vocoder output rate are proposed. As a result of experimenting by applying the proposed method, we confirmed that the transit delay was improved with about average 70%.

소아 편도염의 한약 치료에 대한 최신 임상 연구 동향 - 중국 RCT 연구를 중심으로 -

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate recent clinical studies on the effect of herbal medicine for pediatric tonsillitis in China, and to seek better methods to treat and study for pediatric tonsillitis in Republic of Korea. Methods We searched clinical studies from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) by search formula (SU='扁桃体炎'+'扁桃炎'+'扁桃腺炎'+'乳蛾'+'喉蛾'+'蚕蛾'+'石蛾'+'珠蛾'+'肉蛾'+'乳蛾風'+爛乳風'+'tonsillitis') and (SU='中樂'+'中医樂'+'本草'+'湯'+'丸'+'散'+'方'+'顆粒'+'膠囊'+'自擬'+'herb'+'herbal'+'decoction'+'remedy'+'Chinese medicine'+'Korean medicine'+'kampo'+'formula'+'herbal drug'+'Chinese drug'+'plant'+'Chinese prescription'+'traditional medicine'+'Medicine, East Asian Traditional'+'Herbal Medicine') in professional search from January 2016 to August 2020. We analyzed the literature focusing on the treatment methods and results. Results Among 1464 searched studies, 35 randomized controlled trials were selected and analyzed. In most studies, the effectiveness of oral administration of herbal medicine on pediatric tonsillitis was significant. Most commonly used herbs were Fructus Forsythiae (連翹), Radix Glycyrrhizae (甘草), Radix Scutellariae (黃芩), Herba Menthae (薄荷), Fructus Arctii (牛蒡子), Radix Scrophulariae (玄蔘), Radix Platycodi (桔梗), Flos Lonicerae (金銀花), Radix Isatidis (板藍根), Radix Bupleuri (柴胡), Fructus Gardeniae (梔子), Rhizoma Belamcandae (射干), Radix et Rhizoma Rhei (大黃), Gypsum Fibrosum (石膏). Conclusions By analyzing the improvement of indicators such as total effective rate, cured rate, symptom disappearance time and symptom score, we found that herbal medicine treatment can help improve pediatric tonsillitis. However, additional studies are needed to solidify these findings.

Mobile Ad-Hoc Cloud 기반 파노라마 이미지 생성

본 논문은 모바일 스마트 단말에서 파노라마 이미지 생성 프로세스를 단축하기 위해 모바일 애드혹 클라우드를 활용하는 방법을 제시한다. 파노라마 이미지 생성과 관련된 작업을 효율적으로 모바일 애드혹 클라우드에 분배하기 위해 이미지 획득 및 정렬 방법을 제안하고 작업분배에 대한 오프로딩 결정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 방법을 안드로이드 운영체제 기반의 모바일 스마트 단말에 직접 적용하여 파노라마 이미지 생성 프로세스에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. This paper proposes the use of mobile ad-hoc cloud for reducing the process time of panoramic image generation in mobile smart devices. In order to effectively assign tasks relevant to panoramic image generation to the mobile ad-hoc cloud, a method for image acquisition and sorting and an algorithm for task distribution and offloading decision making are proposed. The proposed methods are applied to Android OS based smart devices, and their effects on panoramic image generation are analyzed.

고환조직 동결-융해 후 회수된 고환 정자에 대한 Hypo-osmotic Swelling (HOS) Test의 효과

Objectives: We have previous reported that thawed testicular sperm and sperm extracted from seminiferous tubule could achieved optimal fertilization and pregnancy in azoospermic patients. However, thawed testicular sperm did not show motility in many cases. Therefore we studied viability of immotile sperm extracted from frozen-thawed seminiferous tubule using hypo-osmotic swelling (HOS) test and eosin-Y test. Materials and Methods: After sperm extraction using for ICSI, the remained sections of seminiferous tubules were frozen with a computerized freezer. For thawing and preparation of testicular sperm, the seminiferous tubules were thawed by removing from $LN_2$ and letting them at room temperature for 10 min followed by %37^{\circ}C$ water bath for 10 min. The prepared samples were washed for free of preservation medium and sperm preparation method described previous. Sperm was suspended in 0.1 ml hypoosmotic solution. After 30 minutes, the type of distally coiled sperm were assessed. Results: In 44 cases of cryopreservation of seminiferous tubules in obstructive azoospennic patients, the fertilization rates with 2PN were 71.4% and pregnancy rates were 34.1%. The presence of motile spermatozoa on subsequent post-thaw testicular sperm remarked 15.1% and were increased to 77.3% just before ICSI. After sperm extracted from frozen-thawed seminiferous tubule, 3 hrs later in in vitro culture, the cases of presence of motile sperm, reaction of hypo-osmotic swelling test and viable sperm were 63.6% (28/44), 93.2% (41/44), and 77.3% (34/44), respectively. Conclusions: Just after post-thawed testicular sperm did not showed motility. Although motility was gained after in vitro culture, many cases showed non-motile sperm until optimal insemination time. However, HOS test showed positive reaction in non-motile sperm. Therefore, HOS test is an alternative method for the selection of viable sperm for ICSI.
