장기간의 연성 콘택트렌즈 착용이 각막두께, 각막곡률 및 각막내피세포에 미치는 영향

Purpose: To investigate the effects of long-term contact lens (CL) wearing on corneal thickness, curvature, and endothelium. Methods: Using ultrasonic pachymetry, Orbscan topography and specular microscopy, we evaluated the cornea of 53 subjects who had used soft CL for more than 5 years compared with 47 controls who had never used CL. Results: There was a significant decrease of central corneal thickness in CL wearers. The difference of central corneal thickness between the two groups was 16.39 ?m. The percentage of central corneal thickness less than 500 ?m was 24.5% in the CL wearers and 12.2% in the controls. The mean corneal thickness of the CL wearers in the center and eight peripheral areas, as measured with Orbscan topography, was significantly reduced by about 7.28 to 17.87 ?m compared with that of the controls. The corneal curvature and elevation were significantly steeper in the CL wearers than in the controls but no difference in the mean corneal astigmatism was found between the two groups. Endothelial density and percentage of hexagonal cells were decreased and the coefficient of cell area variation was increased in the CL wearers compared to the controls. The percentage of endothelial cell densities less than 2500 cells/mm2 was 24.5% in the CL wearers and 4.25% in the controls. Conclusions: Long-term soft contact lens use may have a significant effect on corneal thickness, curvatures and endothelial morphology.

공연관광은 관광시장에서 새롭게 떠오르는 신흥시장이다. 대형 공연물인 중국의 인상시리즈 공연물이나 라스베이거스의 〈태양의 서커스〉와는 달리 우리나라 공연관광은 소형 넌버벌 퍼포먼스 형태를 중심으로 성장하여 왔다. 1997년 초연된 넌버벌 퍼포먼스 〈난타〉는 2000년 7월 우리나라 최초로 작품 전용 공연장을 개관하면서, 외국인 관광객을 타깃으로 한 마케팅을 적극 전개하여 마침내 2009년에는 연간 57만 명의 외국인 관객을 돌파하는 기록을 세우게 된다. 〈난타〉의 성공 사례를 기반으로 후속 공연이 계속 시장에 진입하여 2009년도 연간 외국인 관객 80만 명으로 공연관광은 외국인 관광객 780만 명의 10.3% 점유라는 이정표를 세우게 된다. 이제 공연관광이 한국을 대표하는 관광상품의 하나로 자리 잡게 된 것이다. 이는 〈난타〉 이후 공연관광의 성장을 위해 함께 노력한 〈점프〉, 〈미소〉의 약진과 〈사랑하면 춤을 춰라〉, 〈드로잉 쇼〉 등의 신규 시장 진입 작품들의 조기 안착에 기인한다. 공연관광이 지속적으로 성장하기 위해서는 업계 내부의 협의체의 구성을 통한 공동 마케팅 노력이 필요하다. 각각의 개별 업체 사이에서는 ‘경쟁력 협력 관계’가 요구된다. 이에 맞추어 정부와 한국관광공사, 서울시 등 관련 있는 공공 부문에서도 적합한 지원정책이 필요하다. 다만 그것은 일반적인 예술 지원 정책이 아니라 관광산업으로서의 산업지원정책의 성격을 가져야 할 것이다. 공연관광은 인바운드 관광시장에서만이라 아니라 공연산업의 발전에서도 새로운 모형을 구축하고 있다. 외국인 관광객 1,000만 명 시대 조기 도달과 함께 공연관광 시장 또한 100만 명 외국인 관객 모객을 조기에 달성할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. The performing arts tourism is a emerging market in the field of inbound tourism of Korea. Korean performing arts tourism has grown not with large-scale performance of The Series of Impression Performance of China or Cirque du Soleil of Las Vegas, but with a small-scale performance of non-verbal type in little theaters. Since the first performance of the non-verbal performance Nanta in October 1997, PMC Production has developed a marketing strategy targeting foreign tourists. And in 2009, around 570,000 foreign visitors enjoy Nanta for a year. Now, Nanta has been a role model in field of performing arts tourism in Korea. Various follow-up performances have continuously entered the market of performing arts tourism and its size expands over 10 percent of entire inbound tourists in 2009. Now the performing arts tourism gets settled as one of representative tourism resources in Korea. This results from a rapid advance of Jump and Miso. To ensure constant growth of the performing arts tourism, joint marketing among the firms in performing arts tourism is needed. And also ‘competitive collaboration’ is needed among individual firms. With this, in the public sector such as the central government, Korea Tourism Organization and The Seoul Metropolitan Government needs suitable support policy. The performing arts tourism is building a new model not only in the field of tourism, also in performing arts industry. I expect to overfulfill 10 million foreign visitors for Korea and also one million foreign audiences for the performing arts in Korea.

1920년대 초 주일학교를 중심으로 아동(兒童) 가극(歌劇) 활동이 매우 활발하게 전개되었다. 다만 자료의 부족으로 기독교 연극사를 다루고 있는 기존 논문이나 저서에서는 이 시기 아동 가극 활동에 대해 거의 다루지 못하였다. 이 논문에서는 먼저 한석원(韓錫源) 목사가 편찬한 음보부(音譜附) 각본(脚本) 소년소녀(少年少女) 가극집(歌劇集) 에 실린 18편의 아동 가극의 개요를 살펴보았다. 주요 작가는 편찬자인 한석원을 비롯하여 김현순(金賢珣), 박홍근(朴弘根) 등이며, 작품의 형식은 가극의 형태로 되어 있음을 밝혀 보았다. 이어서 고죽(孤竹) 김현순이 쓴 가극 〈열세 집〉, 〈초로인생(草露人生)〉, 〈호접(蝴蝶)의 왕국(王國)〉, 〈송죽(松竹)의 절개(節槪)〉 등 네 편을 중심으로 이 시기 아동 가극이 가지고 있는 내용 및 형식상의 특징을 살펴보았다. 내용면에서는 기독교적 주제와 민족주의적 주제가 결합되는 양상을 보였고, 창가 형식의 노래와 율동 유희가 결합된 가극으로서의 형식적 특성을 보였다. 이 시기 아동 가극은 기독교 연극의 역사에서뿐만 아니라 초기 근대 연극 형성 과정에서도 의미 있게 다루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다. In the early 1920s, juvenile music-dramas had very actively played at Sunday schools. Because of lack of materials, preceding papers or works on the history of Christian theatres had barely described these juvenile music-dramas. In this paper, I looked around the outline of eighteen juvenile music-drama works in the book named The Pageants for Sunday Schools with Music. It had been compiled by Rev. Hahn, Seok-won. Including compiler, Hahn, Seok-won, the main writers of these music-dramas are Kim, Hyun-soon, Park, Hong-gun and so on. I explained that the genre of that works are mostly music-drama. Secondly, focusing to juvenile music-drama, i.e., 〈Thirteen Houses〉, 〈Life of a span〉, 〈The Kingdom of Butterflies〉, 〈Faith of Pines and Bamboos〉 by Kim, Hyun-soon, I analyzed thematic and formal characteristics of them. I concluded that the main theme of above four works was the combination of Christianity, nationalism and moralism, and their format was music-drama combined with songs and dance routines. I consider that these juvenile music-dramas are appreciated as one part of not only the history of Christian theatres but also the history of Korean modern theatres.

North Korean art have enter the overseas markets in a variety of ways. Ironically, there is no domestic market in North Korean art, but they are pioneering the overseas markets. Mansudae Art Studio (MAS) is the direct channel to overseas markets. MAS has operate the Korean Mansudae Art Museum and sells works in Beijing. And MAS is operating MAS Gallery, an online art market by Pier Luigi Cecioni, an Italian curator. Since 1970s MAS is operating a subsidiary company, Mansudae Overseas Projects Group of Companies (MOP). MOP built several monuments in African countries and earned millions of dollars in over the last 10 years. In Cambodia, MOP also showed a new case. MOP funded, built and is operating Angkor Panorama Museum. Another market of North Korean art is formed by European collectors. Nicholas Bonner and David Heather are British collectors. Willem van der Bijl, Ronald de Groen, and Franciscus Broersen are Dutch collectors. They visited to North Korea several times and bought works. They held North Korean art exhibitions in Seoul and other countries. Western collectors paid attention to the rarity of North Korean art. They saw Soviet socialist realism disappeared beyond the history in them. We should pay attention to what kind of changes this overseas expansion brings to North Korean art.
