상 안정화를 통한 육방구조 Y_(1-x)Ca_(x)MnO₃박막의 제작

Hexagonal Y_(1-x)Ca_(x)MnO₃(YCMO) thin films were grown on Y-stabilized ZrO₂(YSZ) substrates by using a pulse laser deposition (PLD) method to fabricate artificial conducting ferroelectric system. The content of Ca in the YCMO thin films was varied in the range of x = 0 ~30 %. Epitaxially-stabilized YCMO thin films on hexagonal substrates showed enhanced Ca doping compared to bulk YCMO. With increasing x, the structure of the YCMO thin films changed from hexagonal to orthorhombic, and the surface roughness of the YCMO thin films increased. Ferroelectric YCMO with increased electrical conductivity should be useful in the study of the diode and photovoltaic effect observed recently. 전도도를 가진 강유전체를 인위적으로 제작하기 위해서 육방구조의 Y stabilized ZrO₂(YSZ)기판 위에 Ca을 첨가한 YMnO₃의 육방구조 박막을 증착시켰다. Y_(1-x)Ca_(x)MnO₃(YCMO)박막의 Ca의 조성을 0 % ~ 30 %범위 내에서 변화시켰다. 육방구조 기판위에 에피 상 안정화된 YCMO박막은 벌크 YCMO에서보다 더 증가된 Ca도핑을 보여주었다. Ca의 조성 x가 증가함에 따라서, YCMO박막의 구조는 육방구조에서 사방구조로 변하였고, 표면 거칠기도 증가하였다. 전도도가 증가한 강유전 YCMO박막은 최근에 주목받는 다이오드와 광기전력 연구에 유용할 것으로 보인다.
Subcutaneous Phaeohyphomycosis Caused by Exophiala salmonis

We report a case of subcutaneous infection in a 55-yr-old Korean diabetic patient who presented with a cystic mass of the ankle. Black fungal colonies were observed after culturing on blood and Sabouraud dextrose agar. On microscopic observation, septated ellipsoidal or cylindrical conidia accumulating on an annellide were visualized after staining with lactophenol cotton blue. The organism was identified as Exophiala salmonis by sequencing of the ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacer region. Phaeohyphomycosis is a heterogeneous group of mycotic infections caused by dematiaceous fungi and is commonly associated with immunocompromised patients. The most common clinical manifestations of subcutaneous lesions are abscesses or cystic masses. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case in Korea of subcutaneous phaeohyphomycosis caused by E. salmonis that was confirmed by molecular analysis and identification of morphological characteristics. This case suggests that E. salmonis infections are no longer restricted to fish.
신뢰할 수 있는 온라인 커뮤니티 기반의 효율적인 웹 검색 시스템 설계

웹상에 존재하는 정보의 량이 방대해 질수록 사용자가 원하는 정보를 찾는데 더 많은 노력이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서, 원하는 정보를 보다 정확하고 효율적으로 검색하기 위한 많은 검색 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 하지만 기존 검색방법들은 사용자의 검색 의도를 충분히 반영하지 못하기 때문에 검색 의도에 부합되는 적합한 정보를 찾기 어려운 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 사용자들의 검색 의도에 맞는 정보를 효율적으로 검색하기에 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 웹 사용자들의 관심사와 검색 의도를 파악하여 이를 검색에 반영함으로써 정보를 효율적으로 검색하기위한 방안을 제안한다. 이를 위해 형성된 커뮤니티들 중 신뢰할 수 있는 온라인 커뮤니티를 식별하고, 식별된 커뮤니티를 기반으로 검색을 수행한다. 실험결과 제안하는 방법이 기존 방법보다 검색의 정확성 측면에서 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있다. As the amount of information on the web augments, more efforts become subsequently necessary to find the information that users want. Researchers have studied and tried a number of methods to find the wanted information more accurately and effectively, It is hard to find the information that suits to what users really want to find on the web, because previous search methods have not reflected users’ aim in searches. This paper suggests an effective method in information searching by reflecting web users’ interests and aim in searches. This process involves distinguishing the reliable online communities and searching based on the distinguished communities. Newly suggested method shows an improvement in accuracy in comparison to the previous methods.
Frequency-Dependent Dielectric Anomalies in Magnetic Oxides

In the last few years, there have been many studies on the dielectric properties of magnetic oxides, mostly in the aspect of the coupling between ferroelectricity and magnetism. These studies have been focused on dielectric anomalies at the magnetic transition temperature, the magnetodielectric effect, the magnetic relaxor ferroelectricity, materials with high dielectric constants, etc. However, it appears that some of these studies were based on an erroneous interpretation of the dielectric functions measured by using LCR meters. Here, we report rare examples of two-step dielectric anomalies in TbMnO3 and Bi2Fe4O9 that show peculiar frequency dependences. We point out that the thermally-activated charge carriers in isolated impurities are the most probable origin of the dielectric anomalies with the typical relaxor-like frequency dependence.

Sediments were collected from eight stations in JJJJinhae Bay and heavy metals were fractionated into the adsoibed reducible, oxidizable and residual fractions. Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn in each fraction were determined by atomic absorption spectriphotmetry. Cd was shown to be mainly in the adsorbed form, Cu in the oxidizable and resedual fractions, and Pb and Zn mainly in the seducible fractions. The total concentrations of Cu, Pb and Zn in sediments decreased gradually with increasing distance from the heak of the bay, and the relationship of linear segression was obtained.
