끝으로 조 교수가 질적 연구에서는 자료의 수집과 분석이 선후관계가 아닌 나선형적 순환관계로 이루어지며. 기술, 분석 해석 전 과정이 나선형적인 순환관계로 이루어진다고 하는 주장에 동감하며, 여기에 조금 더 적극적으로 이 세 작업이 순환적이 방식으로 이루어질 뿐 아니라 이 세 작업이 상호작용적이 관계 속에서 이루지는 것이 바람직한 연구의 모습이 아닐까하는 생각을 말하고 싶다. 본인의 질적 연구에 대한 이해가 부족한 소치일지는 모르나, 지난 역사의 자료에 대한 연구와는 달리 살아 있는 문화 속에서 산 인간을 대상으로 한 연구에서는 연구의 대상자인 그 인간관의 상호작용적인 관계 속에서 기술, 분석 그리고 해석이 이루어지는 것으로 보기 때문이다. 관찰자는 상대방관의 관계에 전적으로 자신을 쏟으면서도 그렇게 몰입해 가는 자신을 어떤 곳에서 제어하는 또 하나의 자신은 동시에 보존해 가는 것, 말을 바꾸면 ‘자기자신이 관찰의 도구이면서 동시에 그 도구를 사용하는 당사자‘ 이기도 하고, 반응하면서 자신의 반응을 대상화하기 때문이다.

One of the most influential spokerspersons for the importance of becoming “in touch" with one’'s true feelings and fulfilling oneself totally was Abraham Maslow. Maslow’'s theory overlaps considerably with that of Rogers. He also emphasized human beings’' vast positive potential for growth and fulfillment. The striving toward actualization of this potential is a basic quaity of being human. Maslow’'s commitment was to study " optimal man" and to discover the qualities of those people who seemed to be colsest to realizing all their potentialities. Humanstic interpretations of motivation emphasize personal freedom, choice, self-determination, and striving for personal growth. Abraham Maslow has had a great impact on psychology in general and on the psychology of motivation in particular. With these emphases, the humanistic psychologists tend to be in harmony with many of the cognitive approaches. Perhaps most important is the fact that both views stress intrinsic motivation. He has suggested that there is a hierarchy of human needs. Maslow's theory has been criticized for the very obvious reason that people do not always appear to behave as the theory would predict. Most of us move back and forth, motivated by many different needs at different times. Some people deny themselves safety or friendship to focus on the higher-level needs of knowledge and understanding. But Maslow's theory does have a number of important implications for teacher. Maslow's theory a1so offers certain implications for achieving higher-level needs. A student’'s success in mastering a body of knowledge or creating a beautiful object may well lead to increased motivation and the setting of even higher goals.

본 연구는 청년기의 자아발달사의 성인성척도를 작성하여 〔연구 1 ), 이 검사를 사용하여 일반적으로 청년기 (전후기를 포함해서 〕에 있다고 생각되는 청년을 대상으로 그들의 성숙성을 알아보고, 그 성숙성의 성차와 학년차를 살펴보는것〔연구 표 〕을 목적으로 시행되었다. 청년기 특유의 심리와 심라적 성숙을 의미하는 몇가지 항목을 설정하고 각 항목에 속한 문항을 작성하여 평정척도화했다. 전체 547 명 (남학생 276 명, 여학생 271 명 〕을 대상으로 설시하고 그 득점을 요인분석하여 추출된 10 개 요인의 내적 통합성을 Cronbach 의 α 계수를 산출하여 본 결과,최종적으로 7 개 요인이 하위항목척도로서 추출되었다. 작성된 척도를 새로운 대상(연구 표의 대상)에게 재검사블 하여 척도의 안정성을 검토한 결과, 각 하위항목문항의 득점과 재겸사의 득점간의 상관치는 .684 이상 (p<.01) 을 보였다. 또 겸사의 내용적 타당성에 대하여 연구 표의 대상에게 ‘ 아이덴티티 지위검사 ’ 를 실시한 결과,성인성검사의 득점과 ‘ 아이벤티티 지위겸사’ 의 득점과의 상관은 .586 ( p < .01 )을 냐타내었다. 이 겸사릎 다시 564 명 (남학생 297 영, 여학생 267 명 〕에게 실시하였다. 그 결과에서 다음과 같은 몇가지 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉,학년차가 인정되며, 전반적으로 성별에 따라 차이가 있었다. 그러나 본 연구의 결과를 일반화해가기 위해서는 앞으로 수행해야 할 많은 과제가 있다. 특히, 본 연구의 결과는 제한된 조사대상에 의한 결과라는 사실을 잊지 않아야 할 것이다. 그라고 머라말에서도 언급한 바와 같이 청년기의 자아발달상의 성숙성에 대한 임상적인 측면을 고려하여 보다 섣도있게 검토되어져야 할 것이다. 이 점은 보다 타당한 항목추출을 위해서는 필수 적인 작업임을 새삼 강조할 필요가 없다. 앞으로‘ 성숙 ’ 또는 ‘ 성인성 ’에 대한 정의와 청년의 자아발달의 내용과는 관련을 검토할 필요도 있다고 생각된다.

In this article, those psychological aspects of ego in woman was examined as the purpose of this article was an investigation of female identity formation. Especially psychoanalytic approaches including Freud, Jung, Adler, Horney, Fromm and Erikson on the development of female ego which emphasized on sex differences were examined. It was found that those theories were wrong biases and had obvious weaknesses due to the biological basis for woman's inferior. From viewing the previous studies we can concluded that although women may view themselves as inadequate compared the man, they to so for societal reasons, not because they were born female. and if women feel unworthy, it is because they have been treated that way in male-dominated culture. It was suggested that the reasonal and desirable approach of female ego have to consider the social and cultural aspects of the feminine psyche.

This article discusses the relation between the self and the meaning. The self has semantic relations with various objects, and is established by these relations:it has no meaning independently of the objects. The meaning arises from the gestalt of situation., which is constructed through time-spatial "pplementation"The gestalt of the situation is consisted of a "gured"anifestation and "ounded"atent manifestations. In the meaning system from which the gestalt arises, latent manifestaions constitute the nodes of a network structure. The gestalt of the "me"xists in that of the situation, and the both are interdependent. In the state of private self-awareness, the "me"ecomes the gestalt of the integrated "me"which transcends situations. The integrated "me"s equivalent to the self-concept, and is formed by the integrated arrangement of the sub-selves. The stability of the integrated "me"equires that of the meaning system; the latter in turn requires the formation of the sub-self, "e self as a man"which assigns things universal meanings. Then the stability of both the meaning system and the arrangement of the self-concept leads to the establishment of the ego-identity.
