This study aims at examining the major aspects of christianity in Park Mokwol's Poetry including the characteristics. Mokwol's poetic element of, Christianity first appears in his work orchid and others. Deeply rooted in the diverse aspccts of Christianity in this work is his simple religious wish to lead a natural life of selflessness. It was also one of his living strategics to effectively cope with the heartless world of reality and the worldly greed to accumulate riches. In his work Clearness and Cloud we also find some important aspects of Christianity, particularly when we notice that he matures into a Christian gladly accepting the pains of life in this world patiently as well as with an attitude of willing obedience to the law of nature. In his work Kyungsangdo Fallen Leaves, which was written in his sixties, we notice that his life is colored with a sense of futility and loneliness. He then pursues a life of eternity through God and His help,and in due course his religio us sentiments turn to a transcendental will. A totality of Mokwol's devout religiosity is most clearly revealed in his work A Big and Soft Hand. Mokwol is surely a creative poet of a new mental world. In this work, howe ver, he realizes the futility of the poet's attempt to interpret and praise the world with the limits of human perspectives. He then gets to overcome the worldly self who could never be free from the fundamental limitations of mortality (such as death, old age, etc.), and he is born again as a man of faith who has the ability to see through man and the world, and eventually he finds a way of his own salvation.

Approximately one third of patellar fractures require surgery and stellate and comminuted fractures of the patella has been increased. Operative treatment of the patella should be achieved to ensure continuity of the extensor mechanism, to preserve patellar function and reduce the incidence of complications related to articular fracture. Various techniques of internal fixation have been recommended for comminuted fracture of the patella, but there are some complications including loss of fragment position, reoperation, nonunion, loss of range of motion and loss of extensor mechanism strength. The evaluation of the clinical results in rigid fixation group which was made postoperative exercise from postoperative 2 weeks without cylinder cast application, was needed for the purpose whether or not to decrease those complications. We reported 46 cases of comminuted patellar fracture who were operated various. methods with or without cylinder cast as postoperative care, from Jun l990 to Dec 1995 at the department of orthopaedic surgery, Dongrae Bongsaeng hospital. In conculsions, rigid fixation as using Kirschner wires with modified anterior tension band and a circumferential wiring and early motion without cylinder cast for the comminuted patellar fracture could be increased the fusion rate and range of motion and recovered function of the knee joint.

국소마취제인 bupivacaine의 심근억제작용에 관한 기전을 규명하기 위하여, bupivacaine에 의해 수축력이 감소된 흰쥐 적출심장에 대한 각종 대사기질의 영향을 관찰한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Krebs-Ringer glucose medium에 현수한 적출심방의 수축력은 0.01% bupivacaine에 의해 약 50% 감소되었다. 2. Pyruvate, acetate 및 fructose는 bupivacaine 억제심방의 수축력을 증가시켰으나, 정상 Krebs-Ringer medium에서의 수축력에는 현저한 영향이 없었다. 3. Glucose는 bupivacaine 억제심방의 수축력에는 별 영향이 없었으나, 정상 Krebs-Ringer medium에서의 수축력은 증가시켰다. 4. Pyruvate, acetate 및 fructose는 hypertonic medium에 의해 억제된 심방의 수축력에 영향이 없었으나, glucose는 약간의 수축력 증가를 보였다. 5. 각종 대사기질중 pyruvate가 bupivacaine 억제심방의 수축력을 최대로 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과는 bupivacaine이 심근의 glucose 섭취를 억제하거나, 해당과정을 통한 glucose의 이용을 억제하였음을 시사한다. 나아가서, bupivacaine에 의한 대사억제는 심근의 해당과정에서의 phosphofructokinase step이전의 단계에서 작용함을 시사하고 있다. A concentration of 0.01 mM bupivacaine was necessary to maintain approximately 50% depression of contractility of rat atria suspended in a modified Krebs-Ringer bicarbonate glucose medium, pH 7.4 at $30^{\circ}C$. Sodium pyruvate, sodium acetate, and fructose partially restored the contractility of the bupivacaine-depressed atria. However, 20 mM glucose had no effect on the bupivacaine-depressed atria, although this concentration of glucose markedly increased the contractility of normal atria not to be exposed to bupivacaine. Contractility of normal atria was not significantly influenced by sodium pyruvate, sodium acetate, and fructose. The results suggested that at least part of the negative inotropic action of bupivacaine is the result of inhibition of glucose uptake or utilization in the glycolytic pathway, and further pinpoint the blockade as an early step in the glycolytic sequence prior to the phosphofructokinase step.
