This study aims at examining the major aspects of christianity in Park Mokwol's Poetry including the characteristics. Mokwol's poetic element of, Christianity first appears in his work orchid and others. Deeply rooted in the diverse aspccts of Christianity in this work is his simple religious wish to lead a natural life of selflessness. It was also one of his living strategics to effectively cope with the heartless world of reality and the worldly greed to accumulate riches. In his work Clearness and Cloud we also find some important aspects of Christianity, particularly when we notice that he matures into a Christian gladly accepting the pains of life in this world patiently as well as with an attitude of willing obedience to the law of nature. In his work Kyungsangdo Fallen Leaves, which was written in his sixties, we notice that his life is colored with a sense of futility and loneliness. He then pursues a life of eternity through God and His help,and in due course his religio us sentiments turn to a transcendental will. A totality of Mokwol's devout religiosity is most clearly revealed in his work A Big and Soft Hand. Mokwol is surely a creative poet of a new mental world. In this work, howe ver, he realizes the futility of the poet's attempt to interpret and praise the world with the limits of human perspectives. He then gets to overcome the worldly self who could never be free from the fundamental limitations of mortality (such as death, old age, etc.), and he is born again as a man of faith who has the ability to see through man and the world, and eventually he finds a way of his own salvation.

국소마취제인 bupivacaine의 심근억제작용에 관한 기전을 규명하기 위하여, bupivacaine에 의해 수축력이 감소된 흰쥐 적출심장에 대한 각종 대사기질의 영향을 관찰한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Krebs-Ringer glucose medium에 현수한 적출심방의 수축력은 0.01% bupivacaine에 의해 약 50% 감소되었다. 2. Pyruvate, acetate 및 fructose는 bupivacaine 억제심방의 수축력을 증가시켰으나, 정상 Krebs-Ringer medium에서의 수축력에는 현저한 영향이 없었다. 3. Glucose는 bupivacaine 억제심방의 수축력에는 별 영향이 없었으나, 정상 Krebs-Ringer medium에서의 수축력은 증가시켰다. 4. Pyruvate, acetate 및 fructose는 hypertonic medium에 의해 억제된 심방의 수축력에 영향이 없었으나, glucose는 약간의 수축력 증가를 보였다. 5. 각종 대사기질중 pyruvate가 bupivacaine 억제심방의 수축력을 최대로 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과는 bupivacaine이 심근의 glucose 섭취를 억제하거나, 해당과정을 통한 glucose의 이용을 억제하였음을 시사한다. 나아가서, bupivacaine에 의한 대사억제는 심근의 해당과정에서의 phosphofructokinase step이전의 단계에서 작용함을 시사하고 있다. A concentration of 0.01 mM bupivacaine was necessary to maintain approximately 50% depression of contractility of rat atria suspended in a modified Krebs-Ringer bicarbonate glucose medium, pH 7.4 at $30^{\circ}C$. Sodium pyruvate, sodium acetate, and fructose partially restored the contractility of the bupivacaine-depressed atria. However, 20 mM glucose had no effect on the bupivacaine-depressed atria, although this concentration of glucose markedly increased the contractility of normal atria not to be exposed to bupivacaine. Contractility of normal atria was not significantly influenced by sodium pyruvate, sodium acetate, and fructose. The results suggested that at least part of the negative inotropic action of bupivacaine is the result of inhibition of glucose uptake or utilization in the glycolytic pathway, and further pinpoint the blockade as an early step in the glycolytic sequence prior to the phosphofructokinase step.

The Dangun myth consists of three motives: Hwanung's descent from the heaven, the transformation of the bear, the hierosgamos of Ungnyeo and Hwanung. There can be found the structure of death and rebirth in each motive. The second motive, again, can be analyses into four mythemes. First, the coexistence of a tiger and a bear in the same cave is the symbol of uroboros, a primodial chaos before the creation of the world. Second, the desire of a bear to become a man means a self-consciousness as a bestial entity, and desire of renewal and rebirth. Third, dietary taboo and the prohibition of light is the painful process for self-realization and is corresponding to the dragon fight found in hero myth. Fourth, the transformation of the bear into a woman, abandoning her bestiality, represents the motive of death and rebirth. The transformation is the process of initiation toward the center, Sindansu as the World Tree. This study can be summarized into the following four items. (1) Dangun-myth contains the archetype of human collective unconsciousness for self-realization. (2) It expresses the ancient Korean viewpoint of man to become a full-fledged man from the state of ignorance through pains. (3) It is a symbolic myth of creation which illustrates the cosmogony from chaos. (4) It demonstrates the creation not by God's wil but by a positive self-will.

美國과 蘇聯의 經濟體制 比較 : 經濟調停機構를 中心으로 Market and Planning

We do comparative studies on American and Soviet economic systems. In doing so we concentrate on the mechanisms of economic coordination, two of which are market and planning. In the market system many independent economic agents make their decisions on their economic affairs and their economic activities are coordinated through the market. While this system is called the ‘Invisible Hand,’the plnning system is known as the ‘Visible Hand’ with which the central planner coordinates economic activities through economic plans on resource allocations. We employ efficiency criteria in evaluating the American market Economy and the Soviet planned Economy. In this way we hope that problems of the Soviet economy will be revealed, the problems which accelerated current changes in the Soviet Economy. In Chapter 2 we introduce the concepts of technical efficiency, allocative efficiency and economic efficiency. These criteria will be used throughout the paper. In Chapter 3 we study the American economic systems. Firstly we use theoretical analysis under the assumption of pure competition and show that this economy possesses both technical and allocational efficiencies. Then we turn to the real American economy where imperfect competitions are commonplace, which may bring some inefficiencies. In Chapter 4 we study the Soviet economic system established by Stalin. We first look at the Input-Output Model which may provide some insight on how planning works. Then we examine the actual process of the central planning mechanisms. We evaluate the Soviet economic system and reveal many sources of inefficiencies. In the last chapter we conclude by providing some prospects on the direction of change in the Soviet economy based on the analysis in the previous chapters.
