This paper analyzed a drainage tower used to drain water in flooded areas. Multi-body dynamics simulation was used to analyze the dynamic behavior of the drainage tower. Structural analysis, flexible-body dynamic analysis, and rigid body dynamic analysis were done to study the maximum Von-Mises stress of the drainage tower. The results showed that the maximum Von-Mises stress occurs at the turn table, and it decreases when the angle of the boom is increased. Also, the rate of the change of angle affects the maximum stress so that the maximum stress changes more when the angular velocity of the boom increases. Based on the rigid body dynamic analysis and the theoretical analysis results, the centrifugal force from the angular velocity makes the difference in the maximum stress at the turn table because of the difference in their direction. Consequently, it was concluded that the centrifugal force should be considered when designing construction machinerythat can rotate.
다물체 동역학 시뮬레이션을 통한 버스의 전복 시험 규정과 안전성 평가에 관한 고찰

In South Korea, to evaluate the rollover safety of domestic vehicles, the maximum slope angle of the vehicle is specified, which is verified by the rollover safety test of driving vehicles. However, the domestic rollover safety test is not suitable for buses, because the small amount of static stability factor (SSF) will invalidate the rollover experimental equation due to the high center of mass position of buses. To solve the above problems, a dynamic model of the bus is prepared with assumptions of mass and suspension spring properties. Subsequently, the maximum slope angle of the model was computed by using the simulation of multi-body dynamics, and the result was compared with actual test results to validate the dynamics model. Also, the rollover Fishhook (roll stability) test was conducted in the simulation for driving model. During the simulation, roll angle and roll rate were calculated to check if a rollover occurred. Through the rollover simulation of buses, the domestically regulated formula for rollover safety and the procedure of rollover test for driving vehicles are evaluated. The conclusion is that the present regulation of rollover test should be reconsidered for buses to ensure to get the valid results for rollover safety

An Experimental investigation was carried out to examine the heat transfer characteristics of rapid cooling process by Twin-Roll. The experimental results were compared with numerical solutions. The measured temperature showed the about 3 % difference to the calculated results. But the cooling rate estimated by the microstructure interpretation method has much difference to the calculated results.
A Case of Esophageal Carcinosarcoma Treated by Endoscopic Resection

Esophageal carcinosarcoma is a rare malignant neoplasm that is composed of both carcinomatous and sarcomatous components. A 78-year-old man with esophageal carcinosarcoma presented with dysphagia, and was treated by endoscopic resection. Although surgery is the standard treatment for esophageal carcinosarcoma, endoscopic resection is an excellent alternative when the tumor is superficial and has no metastasis. Cardiovascular malformations, such as bicuspid aortic valve and coarctation of the aorta, are more prevalent in patients with Turner syndrome than in the general population. Here, we describe the case of a 35-year-old female with Turner syndrome who was admitted to our hospital with a fever caused by infective endocarditis. Aortic coarctation was diagnosed using computed tomography. The patient was treated with antibiotics and a stent was then implanted. Endovascular therapy using stents is a safe and effective treatment option for aortic coarctation in patients with Turner syndrome. (Korean J Med 2015;89:331-334)
컴파일시 생성된 여러개의 선형 순서를 가지는 AND / OR 프로세스 모델에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 AND/OR 프로세스 모델의 수행시 부담을 줄이기 위해 컴파일시에 수행 순서를 생성하도록 하였다. 가능한 입력 바인딩 패턴에 따라 heuristic한 규칙에 의해 여러개의 가능한 선형 순서가 만들어지며, 수행시에는 바디리터럴을 풀기위해 그중 하나가 선택된다. 각각의 선형 순서는 적합한 데이터 종속 관계를 만들어내기 때문에 거의 최적의 AND 병렬성을 추구할 수 있으며, 이것은 기존의 다른 컴파일 방식들보다 우수하다. 때로는 AND 병렬성이 제한되는 경우가 있으나, 수행시 부담을 줄임으로써 보상될 수 있다. 전방향 및 후방향 수행을 위한 수행시 제어도 간단한 자료 구조에 의해서 효과적으로 제어된다. The AND/OR process model is modified to reduce the runtime overhead in this thesis. In the proposed model, the run time overhead for literal ordering is reduced by generating the execution orders ill compile time. Several possible ordered lists are generated in compile time with several heuristic rules according to the possible input binding patterns and one of them is selected in run time to solve the body literals. Because each ordered list can generate the proper data dependencies, the heady optimal AND parallelism can be exploited, which is better than the other compile approaches. Though this approach may restrict AND parallelism in some cases, it can be compensated by reducing the run time overhead. The run time control for the forward and backward executions is managed simply and efficiently by a simple data structure.
