한국사상(韓國思想)(철학(哲學) : 여초(如初) 김응현(金膺顯)의 서예정신(書藝精神) 의의(意義)와 전(展)

書藝는 단순한 技巧的藝術이 아닌 깊은 學問的修養과 人格的完成으로 이루어지는 서사예술의 극치이다. 그러한 의미에서 如初金膺顯(1927~2007)의 생애 및 학서과정은 일생에 걸친 서예활동의 뿌리가 되었음은 말할 것도 없고, 또한 그의 서예관 형성에 미치는 영향이 매우크고 또 긍정적이었다고 평가할 수 있다. 여초 김응현은 한문서예 五體를 두루 잘 썼고, 한글서예 및 전각에도 뛰어났다. 이러한 그의 서예 활동은 바로 한국 현대 서예사의 발자취라 하여도 지나친 말이 아니다. 본 논고는 여초의 서예정신을 고찰하는데 있으며, 논문의 차제는 1. 序論/ 2. 書藝精神의 理論的基礎/ 3. 書藝의 中和思想/ 4. 如初의 和諧論/ 5. 書藝精神의 意義와 展望으로 전개한다. 여초의 인품론과 화해론을 書如其人과 字外功夫두가지로, 書如其人은 書品이 곧 人品이라는 관점이고, 字外功夫는 서예 밖에서의 공부를 말하는 것이다. 전자는 안동김씨 가문의 유가적 서예정신을 의미하고, 후자는 평생 책을 통하여 끊임없이 닦은 그의 學養을 서예관으로 삼고 있다. 여초는 서예의 기본원칙을 중시하면서도 새로운 창작의 논의에 매진하였다. 여초는 또한 서예 뿐만 아니라 字外功夫에 해당하는 문화활동에서도 확인할 수 있다. 여초 김응현은 근대 서예의 선구자이자 정리자이다. 또한 여초는 서예가이자 교육자로서 韓中日동아시아 서예의 교류협력 기틀을 마련하였다. 현재 여초 김응현을 기리는 다양한 사업 등을 통해서 여초 서예 정신이 21세기 시대정신으로 회복되기를 전망해 본다. Calligraphy is the ultimate of narrative art composed of deep academic cultivation and moral completion, not a mere technical art. In this respect, life and theory process of Yeocho Kim, eunghyeon (1927~2007) became not only the root of calligraphy activity through his life, but also the influence on the formation of his calligraphy view was evaluated to be great and positive. Yeocho Kim, eunghyeon wrote all of Chinese calligraphy Oche(五體) very well, and was excellent in Chinese calligraphy as well as Jeongak. It is not excessive to say his calligraphy activity as this was the trace of Korean modern calligraphy history. This research aimed at considering Yeocho``s calligraphy spirit, and this research was progressed in order of 1. Introduction/ 2. Theoretical basis of calligraphy spirit/ 3. Sinocentrism of calligraphy/ 4. Yeocho``s Hwahaeron/ 5. Significance and prospect of calligraphy spirit. Yeocho``s theory of personality and Hwahaeron implies Seoyeoguiyin(書如其人) and Jawegongbu(字外功夫), Seoyeoguiyin is the viewpoint that writing style is his personality, and Jawegongbu means studying outside of calligraphy. The former means Confucian calligraphy spirit of a Andong Kim family, and the latter took his academic significance that he constantly cultivated through his life as calligraphy view. Yeocho concentrated on new creative discussion while he emphasized basic principle of calligraphy. Also, Yeocho could be confirmed in cultural activities that belong to Jawegongbu besides calligraphy. Yeocho Kim, eunghyeon was the pioneer of modern calligraphy as well as an arranger. Also, Yeocho prepared the basis of exchange cooperation of East Asian calligraphy among Korea, China, and Japan, as a calligrapher as well as an educator. The researcher expects Yeocho``s calligraphy spirit could be recovered as the 21st century``s spirit of period through various activities to celebrate Yeocho Kim, eunghyeon currently.
