        건설 안전관리 모바일 애플리케이션 프로토타입 개발

        Differently from the recent decline in the disaster rate of the entire industry, the accident rate of the construction industry is increasing asthe scale and complexity of the construction work increases. It can be seen that various efforts are needed to prevent construction disasters. As part of this, it is necessary to use IT technology for construction work, and among them, safety management using smartphones will beuseful. According to a survey on the application status and satisfaction of construction safety management applications developed so far, therewere many cases of low practical use. This study proposes a process for construction safety management applications that can increaseutilization at construction sites. Interviews were conducted with safety managers who directly utilize the application to identify the advantagesand disadvantages of the application and additional necessary functions. The survey indicated that the application should reflect the ability tosimplify the registration of nonconformities reports, change the reporting system and input method of risk assessment, and check the overallrisk level of the site at a glance. Reflecting these functions, a process for safety management applications is proposed that can be moreuseful and convenient at construction sites. 전 산업의 재해율이 감소하는 것과 달리 건설공사가 복잡해지며 재해율이 증가하고 있다. 건설 재해 예방을 위한 다양한 노력 중 IT 기술을 건설공사에 활용하고 있으며, 그중 스마트폰을 활용한 안전관리가 유용할 것으로 제기된다. 현재까지 개발된 건설안전관리 애플리케이션 적용 실태와 만족도를 조사한 결과, 실무 활용도가 낮은 사례가 많았다. 이 연구에서는 건설현장에서 활용도를 높일 수 있는 건설 안전관리 애플리케이션의 프로세스를 제안한다. 위험 전달 방식을 간소화하고, 위험성 평가 자동화한 안전관리 애플리케이션 프로토타입을 개발하였다.

        골다공증 환자의 치주조직 상태

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between osteoporosis and periodontal condition in postmenopausal women. Twenty-eight patients who have been treated at Chonnam national university hospital with osteoporosis(osteoporotic group, mean $age62.2{\pm}6.6$) and 21 normal postmenopausal women with periodontitis(control group, mean $age60.4{\pm}3.7$) were examined. Bone mineral density(BMD) of lumbar spine(L2-L4) was measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiomemtry(DEXA). Percentage to peaked bone mass in osteoporotic group was 70.9% which had lower BMD than in control group(p<0.05). The number of present teeth were 23.6 in osteoporotic group and 23.1 in control group. Percentage of bleeding on probing was 41% in osteoporotic group and 37% in control group. probing depth and attachment level were shown 3.18 mm, 3.63 mm in osteoporotic group and 2.85mm, 3.11mm in control group, respectively. Probing depth and attachment level were significantly greater in osteoporotic group than in control group(p<0.05). The significant negative correlation was found between BMD level and periodontal attachment level(p<0.001, ${\gamma}=-0.56$). These results suggest that osteoporosis may be associated with periodontal breakdown.

        당뇨망막병증과 동반된 황반원공에서 유리체절제술의 효과

        Purpose: To describe the effect of vitrectomy for the treatment of macular holes associated with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Methods: Fourteen eyes of 14 patients were chosen among those who had undergone vitrectomy at the Seoul National University Hospital during the last 5 years, due to the presence of a macular hole associated with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. A retrospective study was performed to analyze the fundus findings, pre- and post-operative visual acuity, hole closure status and associated complications. In addition, the study analyzed the results of removing the internal limiting membrane. Results: Twelve out of 14 eyes had proliferative tractional membrane in the macular area. A macular hole with full-thickness was found in 14 eyes (eight eyes before the operation and six eyes during the operation), and final observation showed full hole closure in all 14 eyes. However, eight of the 14 eyes (57.1%) had an improved visual acuity and only two (14.3%) showed an improvement of more than two lines. Seven (77.8%) out of nine eyes that underwent removal of the internal limiting membrane showed visual improvement; no side effects were found in these cases. Conclusions: In our study, we observed that the anatomical features of vitrectomy resulted in the successful treatment of macular holes associated with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. However, limitations still exist in the procedure‘s functional effectiveness for improving visual acuity.

        치은 섬유모세포에서 Triclosan에 의한 Prostaglandin $E_2$ 합성 억제

        The triclosan was shown to have anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory effect with inhibition of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandin $E_2(PGE_2)$. The purpose of this study was to elucidate whether and how $PGE_2$ could be inhibited by triclosan in human gingival fibroblast. Human gingival fibroblast-1 cells (ATCC CRL2014) were pre-treated for 1 hour with triclosan (0.001 ${\mu}/ml{\sim}10$ ${\mu}/ml$) and then stimulated with $TNF-{\alpha}$ (1.0 ng/ml). $PGE_2$ synthesis was evaluated by ELISA and gene expression of COX-1 and COX-2 was evaluated by RT-PCR after $TNF-{\alpha}$, triclosan, and NS-398 (COX-2 inhibitor, 5, ${\mu}M$) and/ or cycloheximide (protein synthesis inhibitor, 2 ${\mu}g/ml$). Triclosan was cytotoxic to human gingival fibroblasts in the concentration higher than 1.0 ${\mu}g/ml$ for longer than 24 hours in tissue culture. The $PGE_2$ synthesis was inhibited by triclosan in dose-dependent manner. Greater COX-2 mRNA suppression was observed with triclosan (0.1 ${\mu}g/ml$) than with $TNF-{\alpha}$ alone, without change in COX-1 gene expression. Inhibitory effects of triclosan on $PGE_2$ synthesis disappeared in presence of cycloheximide. This study suggests that triclosan inhibit prostaglandin $E_2$ at the level of COX-2 gene regulation and require de novo protein synthesis.
