Eating was done on a respective one-man dining table, which reflect the esteem for the individual. The family eating place was generally An-bang of the house, The eating space of Yang-ban housing with its hierarchical, spatial method of tabling and eating around the head of the family served as a synchronically meaningful space which was to strengthen the solidarity of patriarchy beyond the mere funtioning place of eating. That meaning seems to reveal itself more conspicuously when we consider that the eating place is An-bang, the center of the main house. The basic space for cooking was Bu-oak (Chung-ji). Thre was no water-supply system or drainage in the kitchen, so all the water needed for cooking was drawn from outdoor well with a bucket. The traditional eating habits, the entertainment for the bustling guests, and the frequent sacrificial rites required many store rooms for the subasidiary food and wide space for putting food into order.

내시경상 십이지장을 침범한 Henoch-Sch$\"{o}$nlein Purpura 환아의 임상적 특징

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical usefulness of upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy in children with Henoch-Sch$\"{o}$nlein purpura (HSP). Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical, endoscopic, and histopathologic records of children with HSP who had been admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Gil Hospital and underwent upper GI endoscopy between January 2002 and June 2009. Patients were classified into the following two groups for statistical analysis: duodenal involvement (+) and duodenal involvement (-). Results: Fifty-one children with HSP underwent upper GI endoscopy; the mean age was 7.2${\pm}$2.9 years. The upper GI endoscopy showed abnormalities of the duodenum in 38 cases (74.5%), 22 of which had duodenal ulcers. Among the biopsy specimens obtained from the duodenum of 37 cases, 13 cases (35.1%) had leukocytoclastic vasculitis, neutrophil debri, and/or extravasation of RBCs. Steroid use was more frequent in the duodenal involvement (+) group (86.8%) than the duodenal involvement (-) group (53.8%; p=0.02). The mean length of hospitalization was 13.9${\pm}$8.43 days in the duodenal involvement (+) group and 8.1${\pm}$4.62 days in the duodenal involvement (-) group (p=0.003). The recurrence rate was significantly higher in the duodenal involvement (-) group than the duodenal involvement (+) group (p=0.027), whereas none of the other study parameters, such as the age of onset, renal involvement, and steroid use, led to significantly higher or lower recurrence rates. Conclusion: These results suggest that duodenal involvement can influence the clinical course and prognosis of HSP in children.

구술로 본 1970년대 이후 전주지역 단독주택 부엌의 변화

The purpose of this study is to investigate the change of kitchen in a single detached house in Jeonju city after 70's. Oral life history method which has 12 women's personal narratives and 17 women's personal narratives with written reports was used as a research method of this study. The results of the study were obtained as follows: 1) It was beginning about late 1970 year that heating system and cooking place were separated in a house. 2) Many kitchens were reconstructed for indoor stand-up work place from late 1970's to the early 1980's. 3) There were major factors such as heating system, cooking fuel, and work center in the change of kitchen in old houses. 4) The kitchen toward the center with a living room was appeared in the floor plan of modem house after 1990's. The symbolic words of the indoor kitchen that work for women were 'warmness' and 'convenience'.

체재형 가족농원의 주거시설에 대한 의식

The aim of this study was to determine the basic perception of Kleingarten house planning of Jeonbuk area. The survey method was used for data collection. The major finding were as follows: 1) Almost all respondents have a very positive attitude the participant of Kleingarten. Many respondents wanted the cheapest price for the Kleingarten rental fee and for the travel time between their home and Kleingarten to be under an hour. 2) Two different size of 45 and 66 $m^2$ were preferable for the house floor plans. The most preferable floor plan type chosen by the respondents was a house design with a terrace and the elderly householders especially preferred a house floor plan with an LDK design. 54.3 per cent respondents liked the log house and 93.3 per cent respondents liked the eco-friendly building materials such as wood, earth (Korean natural earth: whangto), and adobe bricks etc. 3) There were more needs for useful facilities such as a pergola, a grassy lawn, small ponds, a playground for the childrens, patio table settings, etc.

Dexamethasone이 황체용해에 미치는 영향에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

목 적: Glucocorticoid가 황체용해에 미치는 효과의 기전의 일부를 면역 조직학적 연구를 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 8주령의 Rat 암컷 30마리 대조군, 덱사메타손 0.1 mg 투여군 및 덱사메타손 1mg 투여군의 3군으로 나누어 황체용해의 차이와 대식세포의 침투여부를 비교하기 위하여 광학현미경을 이용하여 계수하였다. 결 과: TUNEL 면역염색 결과 덱사메타손 0.1 mg 투여군과 1 mg 투여군 모두에서 대조군에 비해 황체용해의 비율이 현저히 감소하였고, ED1 면역염색 결과 덱사메타손 1 mg 투여군에서 대식세포의 황체 내 침투가 현저히 억제된 것으로 나타났다. ED1 면역염색 결과 덱사메타손 1 mg 투여군에서 대식세포의 면역반응성이 대조군에 비해 감소되어 나타났다. 결 론: 덱사메타손은 직접 황체세포에 작용하여 세포자멸사를 억제한다. 또한 대량 투여했을 때는 대식세포의 황체 내 침투를 억제하거나 황체 내에 이미 존재하는 대식세포의 활성화를 억제함으로써 황체용해를 억제한다. Objective: This study was attempted to look at the effect of dexamethasone on the luteolysis of corpus luteum in rats by immunohistochemical study. Methods: Counting with an optical microscope was conducted to make a comparison on difference in luteolysis and penetration of macrophage into three groups: control group of 30 female rats at 8 weeks of age, dexamethasone 0.1 mg administered group, and dexamethasone 1mg administered group. Results: As a result of TUNEL immunostaining, the percentage of luteolysis was significantly reduced in both dexamethasone 0.1 mg administered group and 1 mg administered group, and after ED1 immunostaining, macrophage invasion was reduced in dexamethasone 1 mg administered group. As a consequence of ED1 immunostaining, the immune response of macrophage was much decreased in dexamethasone 1 mg administered group than control group. Conclusion: Dexamethasone works on luteal cell, so it can suppress apoptosis. It can suppress luteolysis by suppression macrophage invasion into corpus luteum or suppress macrophage activation in corpus luteum.

유네스코 무형문화유산 시맨틱 디지털 아카이브 구축: 이용자 중심 관계형 패싯 네비게이션을 중심으로

UNESCO clearly has a good user interface compared to other sites. However, it does not have a structure in which user-centric knowledge curating is employed by users. As such, the knowledge structure should be expressed differently in advance for users to enjoy such benefits. At present, almost all current information systems are lacking with semantic and contextual information. Moreover, these systems are deemed insufficient of interlinking various kinds of thoughts in our minds. Thus, it is necessary to model in advance what users are likely to think and provide an interface that they can easily utilize based on that modeling. Furthermore, there is a need for a new structural theory based on semantic technology that can make that possible. Therefore, in this proposal, theoretical and practical insights were presented for user interface implementation to which relational facet navigation based on the structural theory is applied. Moreover, this proposal intends to suggest a "thinking expansion platform" that allows users' ideation of different concepts, including those unfamiliar to them.

수종(數種) 근관충진재(根管充眞材)의 근관폐쇄성(根管閉?性)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the sealing ability of ZOE, FR and AH-26. Seventy two upper and lower anterior and premolor teeth were randomly selected and instrumented in a conventional method with K-file. After instrumentation and dry the canal, the teeth were divided into 3 groups and twenty four teeth in each group were filled with ZOE, FR, and AH-26 respectively. All the specimens were immersed into Indian Ink and decalcified in nitric acid and cleared in methyl salicylate. The apical leakage was evaluated by measuring the degree of ink penetration with caliper at the intervals of 1 day, 7 days and 14 days. The results were as follows; 1. In AH-26 and FR groups, there was increase in penetration related to increased time of immersion in the ink. 2. FR group showed the least penetration in 3 groups. 3. Statistics showed that there was no significant difference among the each sealer groups.

짧은 혈관경을 가진 부분 족지 전이술을 이용한 수지첨부의 즉시 재건

We studied the results of the immediate microsurgical reconstruction of the distal digit injury with short vascular pedicled partial toe transfer. Thirteen patients with amputation or crush injury of the distal digit who underwent partial toe transfer at the authors' institute over 8-year period were reviewed. Delay between initial injury and reconstruction ranged from 1 to 9 days. All flaps were harvested on a short vascular pedicle, with anastomoses performed at a proximal interphalangeal joint level on the fingers and metacarpophalangeal joint level on the thumbs. Good to excellent cosmetic and functional results were obtained in all cases, with nearly normal-looking fingertip. The mean static two point discrimination was 10 mm. Immediate reconstruction with short vascular pedicled partial toe transfer is an excellent option for the reconstruction of the compostie defect of the distal digit.

파보일미 ( Parboiled rice ) 의 이화학적 특성 - 2 . 파보일미 ( 추청벼 ) 의 물리적 성질 및 조리특성

This study was undertaken to determine effect of parboiling on physical and cooking characteristic properties of milled rice. Equilibrium moisture content(EMC) of parboiled rice soaked at room temperature(25℃) and high temperature(75℃) increased 1.8∼2.7 times & 1.4∼1.6 times as compare to raw rice, and time to reach EMC of parboiled rice became longer 4 times and 1.7 times than raw rice respectively. Equilibrium volume(EV), time to reach EV and volume increase rate constants(k_v) were similar to EMC, time to reach EMC, and k. k_v of parboiled rice brought about in decrease at room temperature and increase at high temperature. The geletinization temperature, time and peak viscosity of parboiled rice were higher than those of raw rice. Parboiling brought about in decrease in L/W of cooked parboiled rice kernels and L/W increased according to presoaking time was prolonged. Solid content of cooking water of raw rice were higher than those of parboiled rice. Hardness of uncooked PL20 & PL40 soaked for 30 min was higher than that of raw rice but that of uncooked parboiled rice soaked for 90 min was lower than that of raw rice. Springness of cooked parboile-rice for initial 10 min decresed with that of cooked raw rice and then increased sharply, cooked for 15 min then increased slowly, cooked parboiled rice for 40 min increased more than cooked raw rice. Color differences(ΔE) of PT20 samples was the lowest L value of all the samples increased but a and b value decreased according to milling degree was high.

Brevibacterium lactofermentum에서 ddh 유전자의 Overexpression이 $_L-Lysine$ 생산에 미치는 영향

The ddh gene encoding meso-DAP-dehydrogenase (DDH) involved in the dehydrogenase pathway is essential for high-level lysine production in Brevibacterium lactofermentum. To investigate its influence on lysine production by overexpression of the ddh gene in a lysine-producing B. lactofermentum, recombinant plasmid pRK1 and pRK31 containing the ddh gene of B. lactofermentum were constructed and they were introduced into B. lactofermentum by electroporation. Multiple copies of pRK1 and pRK31 caused 7-fold and 14-fold increase of DDH activity in B. lactofermentum cell extracts, respectively. As determined in shake flask fermentation, lysine production of B. lactofermentum harboring pRK1 or pRK31 was 22% or 19% higher than that of the control, respectively.
