        스노보드 시뮬레이터 운동 시 전문가와 비전문가의 하지 운동특성 분석

        In this study, joint angles of the lower extremity and tibial acceleration and angular velocity were measured during a snowboard simulator exercises in order to evaluate the skill of snowboarders. Ten unskilled and ten expert snowboarders were recruited for the study. A three-dimensional motion capture system and two inertial sensor modules were used to acquire joint movements, acceleration and angular velocity of the lower extremities during snowboard simulator exercises. Pattern variations were calculated to assess variations in the snowboard simulator motion of unskilled and expert snowboarders. Results showed that expert snowboarders showed greater range of motion in joint angles and greater peak to peak amplitude in acceleration and angular velocity for tibia than unskilled snowboarders. The unskilled snowboarders did not show symmetrical shape(same magnitude but opposite direction) in tibial angular velocity during two edge turns in snowboard simulator exercises. The expert snowboarders showed smaller pattern variations for joint angle of lower extremity, tibial acceleration and tibial angular velocity than unskilled snowboarders. Inertial sensor data and pattern variations during the snowboard simulator exercises could be useful to evaluate the skill of snowboarders.

        정보이론 기반 한국어 준말의 분석

        In casual speech of Korean, words are often reduced to shorter forms by reducing one or more syllables from the original words. This word reduction comes in three types: simple deletion of one or more syllables from the source word, reduction motivated by hiatus avoidance, and reduction created by deletion of subsyllabic segment(s) with subsequent resyllabification. The third type, which we call "subsyllabic reduction (SSR)," is particularly interesting because it is not clear what motivates this specific deletion of segment strings and the subsequent phonological restructuring. This paper examines the issues surrounding SSR from the perspective of information theory (Shannon 1948) and proposes that SSR occurs to improve string well-formedness and collocational strength between segments, which are measured respectively by information-theoretic notions of ``positive logarithm`` (plog; Goldsmith 2002, 2011) and ``mutual information``. To elaborate this proposal, we compiled a list of reduced words created by SSR and examined how plog and mutual information vary with SSR. We obtained a partially positive result: Among the five types of SSR, the values of plog and mutual information change as we expected in three types, which account for 270 out of 309 cases of SSR.         Spirobifluorene 그룹을 포함하는 새로운 청색 발광 재료의 전계발광

        BTPSF와 BDTSF는 유기발광다이오드용 스파이로플루오렌 모이어티를 기반으로 하는 새로운 청색 발광 물질로 성공적으로 합성되었다. BTPSF와 BDTSF는 촉매를 사용하지 않고 Diels-Alder 반응을 통해 합성하여 고순도를 얻었다. 합성된 물질의 광발광 스펙트럼은 용액 상태에서 약 381, 407 nm, 필름 상태에서 각각 395, 434 nm의 최대 발광 파장을 나타내어 자외선과 짙은 청색 발광색을 나타냈다. 합성된 BDTSF 물질은 non-doped 소자의 EML로 적용되었으며, 전류 효율은 0.61 cd/A이다. 2,7-bis(3',6'-diphenyl-[1,1':2',1''-terphenyl]-4'-yl)-9,9'-spirobi[fluorene] (BTPSF) and 2,7-bis(1,4-diphenyltriphenylen-2-yl)-9,9'-spirobi[fluorene] (BDTSF) were successfully synthesized as novel blue-emission materials for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on the spirobifluorene (SBF) moiety. BTPSF and BDTSF were obtained in high purity via a Diels-Alder reaction, without the use of a catalyst. Photoluminescence spectra of the synthesized materials showed maximum emitting wavelengths of approximately 381 and 407 nm in solution and 395 and 434 nm in the film state, for BTPSF and BDTSF, respectively, indicating ultra-violet and deep blue emission colors. BDTSF was applied as an emissive layer (EML) in non-doped devices and achieved a current efficiency of 0.61 cd/A and an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 0.46%.

        이미지 센서 컬러 필터에 사용하기 위해 새로운 노란색 퀴놀린-다이온 염료 파생물을 설계하고 합성했습니다. 합성된 화합물은 퀴놀린과 디온 그룹으로 구성된 기본 화학 구조를 가지고 있습니다. 새로운 재료는 상업적 장치 제조 공정을 모방한 조건에서 광학적, 열적 특성을 기반으로 평가되었습니다. 이들의 관련 성능을 비교한 결과, 제조된 두 화합물 사이에서 2-(3-hydroxyquinolin-2(1H)-ylidene)-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione (HQIDO)이 다음과 같은 우수한 성능을 나타냈습니다. 프로필렌 글리콜 모노메틸 에테르 아세테이트 용매에서 0.5 wt%보다 큰 용해도, 각각 298 ℃의 높은 분해 온도를 포함하는 이미지 센서 컬러 필터 재료. 결과는 HQIDO가 이미지 센서 착색제에서 노란색 염료 첨가제로 사용될 수 있음을 시사합니다. New yellow quinoline-dione dye derivatives were designed and synthesized for use in image sensor color filters. The synthesized compounds have a basic chemical structure composed of quinoline and dione groups. New materials were evaluated on the basis of their optical and thermal properties under conditions mimicking those of a commercial device fabrication process. A comparison of their related performances revealed that, between the two prepared compounds, 2-(3-hydroxyquinolin-2(1H)-ylidene)-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione (HQIDO) exhibited the superior performance as an image sensor color filter material, including a solubility greater than 0.5 wt% in propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate solvent and a high decomposition temperature of 298 ℃, respectively. The results suggest that HQIDO can be used as a yellow dye additive in an image sensor colorant.

        위치적 유표성과 한국어의 ㄴ삽입

        This paper introduces an alternative analysis of /n/-insertion in Korean. Korean prefixed words and compounds undergo /n/ or /l/ insertion only when their second constituent has an initial vowel /i/ or glide /j/. Therefore morphological factors such as alignments with syllable boundary cannot account for /n/-insertion. I propose that the positional markedness of word-initial /n/ or /l/ were reversed into the positional unmarkedness of inserted /n/ or /l/. The result of /n/-insertion is analogous to compounds which never undergo deletion of word-medial /n/ or /l/. Hence, insertion of /n/ or /l/ is a type of analogical extensions, which is parallel with intrusive-r of British English. Nevertheless, the inversion of positional markedness proposed in this work is different from the inversion of rule(deletion →insertion). While the insertion rule is directly induced by the deletion rule, positional unmarkedness constraints interact with the other faithfulness, markedness and alignment constraints.

        불투명성과 관련된 한국어 음운현상의 검토

        Studies in Phonetics, Phonology and Morphology 15.1. 21-33. The aim of this paper is to introduce an alternative analysis of opacity problems in Korean phonology. Recently palatalization, umlaut, syllabification, irregular conjugations and tensification of verbal inflection in Korean have been investigated by researchers. From a theoretical point of view, these phonological alternations appear to be similar for their opacity. However, it is argued in this paper that these opacities can be ascribed to different factors, which are due to the historical change of phonological rule or constraint, sociolinguistic variation and analogical change by paradigm uniformity. In Korean, only the tensification of verbal inflection raises an opacity problem in non-serial OT framework.

        확률적 모델 기반 중세한국어 유성마찰음 /ㅿ/의 음운론적 대립에 대한 연구

        This study investigates intermediate phonological relationships between /s/(ㅅ) and /z/(ㅿ) in Middle Korean from the 15th century to the 16th century. In Middle Korean, the phonological contrast between /s/ and /z/ was complex. In word-medial intervocalic position, /z/ and /s/ are considered to be contrastive. However, in word-initial or word-final position, they are allophonic, so we can predict which of the two segments will occur. I propose that putting /z/ and /s/ into a gradient and probabilistic model provides insight into the phonological relationship between them. The present paper examines the frequencies of /z/, /s/ and other consonants from the 15th to the 16th century to analyze a historical Korean corpus from the perspective of the Probabilistic Phonological Relationship Model (PPRM), measuring the quantitative analysis index of intermediate phonological relationships. Comparing the entropies between /s/ and other consonants with the entropies between /z/ and other consonants, a continuum defined in terms of entropy reveals that /z/ in Middle Korean was more allophonic than phonemic, and it was lost or merged into /s/ in the 16th century.

        정보이론 기반 중세국어 `ㅸ`의 음운론적 대립에 대한 연구

        This study explores contrastive relation among voiced bilabial fricative [ß], voiceless bilabial stop [p] and glide [w] in Middle Koreanconsonant system based on Probabilistic Model. Preceding researches about voiced bilabial fricative [ß] proposed two influential arguments. One is voiced bilabial fricative [ß] was an independent phoneme, the other is it was not an independent phoneme but an allophone of voiceless bilabial stop [p] in Middle Korean. This study applies Probabilistic Phonological Relationship Model (PPRM) for solving the problem of dichotomy about contrastive and allophonic relations. The analysis result of the contrastive entropy by PPRM suggests that voiced bilabial fricative [ß] was just an allophone of voiceless bilabial stop [p] or glide [w] in Middle Korean. Comparing the entropies between [p] and other consonants with the entropies between [ß] and other consonants, a continuum defined in terms of entropy reveals that [ß] in Middle Korean was more allophonic than phonemic.

        한국어 이중모음 /의/의 음향적 특성과 유형에 대하여

        The purpose of this paper is to investigate the distributions and acoustic characteristics of /ɨi/ found in Seoul Corpus. The monophthongization of /ɨi/ occurs in 93.04% of a total of 2,370 tokens and in higher than 99% of the cases with onsets and of non-initial position in a word. However, only 31.82% of word-initial tokens are monophthongized. 94.40% of monoph- thongized /ɨi/ tokens are realized as [i], but in word-initial position, 61.74% of the monophthongized diphthong tokens are realized as [ɨ]. Based on acoustic properties, /ɨi/ in Korean is not off-glide [ɨj] but on-glide [ɰi]. The 165 diphthongs which are realized [ɰi] are classified under two patterns. The first type (97 tokens) is composed of on-glide and vowel. The second type (68 tokens) is composed of only on-glide transition. Acoustically the first type is longer than the second type in duration. Also, the first type begins with a more front position than the second type and moves to a position that is more back than the second type.

        한국어의 이중모음 체계에 대한 제약기반적 분석

        This paper introduces an alternative analysis of Korean diphthong system. There are two kinds of diphthong systems in Korean. One is j-initial system and the other is w-initial system. Again, these diphthong systems can be classified into two systems, monophthongized and intact. To account for two diphthong systems, this paper attempts constraint-based analysis based on perceptual and articulatory constraints. I show that the interaction HEAR CLEAR and *EFFORT (Minkova and Stockwell 2003), and IDENT-IO (CONTRAST), which bans merger between diphthong and monophthong, results in different four diphthong systems. The optimal diphthong systems are affected by the rank of IDENT-IO (CONTRAST) on hierarchy. The ranking of IDENT-IO (CONTRAST) among HEAR CLEAR constraints selects an intact diphthong system or partly monophthongized systems. On the other hand, the dominance of HEAR CLEAR and *EFFORT over IDENT-IO (CONTRAST) selects a fully monophthongized system.
