Serial ultrasonographic examinations were daily performed from 15 days after ovulation until parturition to determine the time of first detection and ultrasonographic appearance of the fetal and extra-fetal structures in pregnant 10 Maltese, 10 Yorkshire Terrier, 15 Shih-tzu, and 10 Miniature Schnauzer bitches, respectively. Gestational age was timed from the day of ovulation (day 0), which was estimated to occur when plasma progesterone concentration was first increased above 4.0ng/ml. The gestational length was (range: ) days and the geatational length was no statistically significant difference among bitches (p>0.05). The initial detection of the extra-fetal structures were; gestational sac at days , zonary placenta at days , yolk sac membrane at days , yolk sac tubular shape at days , and amniotic membrane at days , respectively. The time of the first detection of the extra-fetal structures were no statistically significant difference among bitches (p>0.05). The initial detection of the fetal structures were; embryo initial detection at days , heartbeat at days , embryo bipolar shape , fetal movement at days , limb buds at days , stomach at days , urinary bladder at days , skeleton at days , and kidney at days , respectively. The the time of the first detection of the fetal structures were no statistically significant difference among bitches (p>0.05). These results indicate the evaluation of the time of first detection and ultrasonographic characteristics of the gestational structures might be useful for pregnancy diagnosis, estimating fetal age, embryonic resorption, fetal monster, abnormal fetal growth and fetal viability, respectively.

The flow characteristics of a diaphragm valve has been analyzed numerically. The flow in a diaphragm valve and inlet and outlet pipes are modeled. The pressure distribution and the streamline distribution have been analyzed by using a CFD software, ANSYS Fluent. Some regions with reverse pressure gradients and a region with no flow are observed. To improve the flow characteristics, a diaphragm valve with an asymmetric weir and with a fillet are suggested. The suggested valve shows 26% of improved flow rate and improved linearity than the original diaphragm valve.

In this paper, we Propose a pyramid VQ to quantize the transform coefficients of TCX module for the audio improvement of AMR-WB+ codec. The Proposed pyramid VQ is compared to the $RE_8$ Lattice VQ used in the AMR-WB+ standard codec. demonstrating improvement 4% and 5.7%. respectively, in Mean Squared Error (MSE) and 3.3% and 4.7%. respectively, in Perceptual Evaluation of Audio Quality (PEAQ) by 8-dimensional and 16-dimensional Pyramid VQ. 본 논문은 AMR-WB+ 코덱의 오디오 품질을 개선하기 위하여 TCX모듈 변환계수 양자화기에 8차 및 16차 Pyramid VQ방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 Pyramid VQ 방식은 AMR-WB+ 코덱에 적용된 $RE_8$ Lattice VQ 방식과 비교 평가되었으며, 8차 및 16차 Pyramid VQ 방식의 사용시 Mean Squared Error (MSE)는 각각 4% 및 5.7% 개선되었고, Perceptual Evaluation of Audio Quality(PEAQ) 값은 각각 3.3% 및 4.7% 개선되었다.

철강공정에서 소재에 대한 관리를 위해 소재의 전면에 소재 관리문자를 마킹한다. 본 논문은 철강 연주공정에서 생산되는 슬라브 소재 영상에 포함된 소재 관리문자를 실시간으로 인식하기 위한 비전시스템 개발 결과에 대해 기술한다. 문자인식용 비전시스템은 영상획득을 위한 카메라 시스템, 영상을 장거리로 고속 전송하기위한 광 전송시스템, 기존 제어시스템과의 인터페이스를 위한 입.출력 시스템 및 인식결과를 모니터링 하기위한 모니터링 시스템으로 구성된다. 개발된 문자인식용 비전시스템을 실제 철강 연주공정에 설치하여 운용테스트를 실시했다. 테스트를 통해 시스템의 내구성과 신뢰성을 검증하고 최종적으로 문자 인식률을 검증했다. 개발된 시스템에 대해 문자인식 테스트 결과 약 97.4%의 인식률을 가졌다.

So far, the port cargo handling capacity of general cargo was computed using simple formulae based on mathematical models. However, this simple calculation could not be able to reflect the reality. Thus, the simulation method was applied in this paper to overcome the limitation that the calculation method used in the past studies has. The process occurring from arrival to departure of a ship, which is reflecting the process rules of berth, was modeled to estimate the optimum level of handling capacity by using an example of the loading and unloading of an appropriated wharf at the harbor, and simulation was performed by developing the prototype. The actual processing capability of Mukho port was compared to the estimated capability calculated using the simulation method and the optimum level of capability could be computed by repeatedly simulating the input variable condition of the simulation prototype.
저온 주사 레이저 현미경(LTSLM)을 이용한 YBCO 초전도 선재의 불균질성 연구

Low temperature scanning laser microscopy (LTSLM) can be used for a two-dimensional display of bolometric response arising from the localized excitation of a sample by the focused laser beam. In this study, the distribution of critical temperature ($T_c$) and critical current density ($J_c$) in YBCO coated conductor were analyzed using LTSLM. For improving the temperature stability, we have modified the system into a double-shielding type. Through the modification, the temperature stability was successfully improved from ${\pm}10mK\;to\;{\pm}2mK$. The superconducting properties of YBCO coated conductors were measured for the sample of a narrow bridge type using wet etching process. The spatial non-uniformity of the ac voltage response, ${\delta}V(x)$, which is proportional to ${\partial}\rho(x,J_B)/{\partial}T$ in the transition temperature region could be observed and displayed in a two-dimensional image.
