In recent years, the challenge of higher energy efficiency has emerged as urban buildings have become taller, and the area of window glasses has increased. To address the problem of energy efficiency in buildings, research on smart windows is being actively conducted. In this study, an accelerated experiment for thermal stability was conducted to fabricate a liquid crystal cell applicable to external windows. It was confirmed from the study that the function is maintained even in a high-temperature external environment through the change in transmittance by voltage. Compared with the initial transmittance, after the passage of time, the smart window cell to which the sealant was applied showed a small change in transmittance of 1~2%. This result confirmed the thermal stability of the liquid crystal-based smart window.
태양전지 변환 효율 향상을 위한 근적외선 파장 변환 필름에 관한 연구

The amount of electric power for photovoltaic power generation depends on the location of the power plant and the direction of solar cell. The solar cell controls the generation of solar power plants. Therefore, the structure of solar cell, manufacturing method, and optic technology were factors contributing to increased solar cell efficiency; however, the technical limit has been reached. Herein, we propose a new method to increase the solar cell efficiency using a wavelength conversion technology that converts ultraviolet and infrared rays, which are not effectively used in solar cells, into effective wavelength of solar cell. We used fluoride $Na(Ca)YF_4$ phosphor for wavelength conversion. Then, a wavelength-conversion fluorescent paste, prepared using an organic-silicon binder, was used to prepare a film that was applied to Si solar cells. It was confirmed that conversion efficiency improved by 5% or more.

A single blow, transient testing method for determining the heat transfer characteristics of heat exchanger surfaces are presented. The exponential inlet temperature variations were made using screen mesh with small time constant and frontal velocities of the test section. The system is used to investigate the usefulness of a model with exponential inlet temperature variations. A data reduction program is developed to calculate the temporally and spatially averaged heat transfer coefficient using the measured disturbance and response of the fluid temperature. The results are compared with the existing theoretical and experimental data for parallel plate stacks. It was recommended to take an average for the time greater than the 99% of the final temperature had reached in order to obtain fairly good results.

음악제작에 쓰이는 음성합성엔진은 악기 소리와 음색의 합성에 머물던 과거의 신디사이저와는 달리, 인간의 목소리를 각 음소에 따라 샘플화하여 탑재함과 동시에 각 음소의 연결을 주파수 영역 내에서 자연스럽게 처리함으로써 실제 사람이 노래하는 것과 같은 수준까지 도달하게 되었다. 사용자들은 이러한 음성합성엔진을 음악제작에 국한하여 쓰지 않고 캐릭터를 활용한 콘서트, 영상제작, 음반, 모바일 서비스 등 2차 창작물로 새로운 음악의 형태를 창조하며 문화적 패러다임을 바꾸어 나가고 있다. 현재 음성합성엔진 기술은 악보 편집기를 통하여 사용자가 원하는 음과 가사, 그리고 음악적 표현 파라미터를 입력한 뒤, 실제 가성 샘플을 데이터베이스에서 가져와 합성엔진에서 발음들을 조합, 연결하여 노래하는 것을 가능하게 한다. 이러한 컴퓨터음악 기술의 발전으로 인해 파생된 새로운 음악 형태들은 문화적으로 큰 반향을 불러일으키고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 구체적 활용 사례를 살펴보고 합성기술을 탐색함으로써, 사용자들이 음성합성엔진을 이해하고 습득하는 데 기여함과 동시에 그들의 다양한 음악제작에 도움이 되고자 한다. Differently from instruments which synthesized sounds and tones in the past, voice synthesis engine for music production has reached to the level of creating music as if actual artists were singing. It uses the samples of human voices naturally connected to the different levels of phoneme within the frequency range. Voice synthesis engine is not simply limited to the music production but it is changing cultural paradigm through the second creations of new music type including character music concerts, media productions, albums, and mobile services. Currently, voice synthesis engine technology makes it possible that users input pitch, lyrics, and musical expression parameters through the score editor and they mix and connect voice samples brought from the database to sing. New music types derived from such a development of computer music has sparked a big impact culturally. Accordingly, this paper attempts to examine the specific case studies and the synthesis technologies for users to understand the voice synthesis engine more easily, and it will contribute to their variety of music production.

The effects of longitudinal heat conduction on the performance of heat transfer surfaces are investigated by using a single-blow method. In the transient testing method for determining the heat transfer characteristics, exponential inlet temperature variations are made by using screen-mesh heater with small time constant and low frontal velocities of the test section, and the experimentally determined inlet temperature profile is used as the inlet fluid temperature condition. The effects of longitudinal heat conduction are negligible only if $\gamma^\act<0.05\;and \;N_{tu}\le3$ and should be considered if $N_{tu}\le3$ The test results ate compared with the existing theoretical and experimental data and the validity of this technique is confirmed by the good agreement.

A thermal mass air flow sensor (MAFS), which consists of a micro-heater and thermo-resistive sensors on the silicon-nitride (Si₃N₄) thin membrane structure, is micro-fabricated by MEMS processes. Two thermo-resistive temperature sensors are located at 100㎛ upstream and downstream from the micro-heater respectively. The thermal characteristics are measured to find the best measurement indicator. The micro-heater is operated under constant power condition, and four flow indicators are investigated. The normalized temperature indicator shows good physical meaning and is easy to use in practice. It is found that the configurations and heating power of thermal-resistive elements are the dominant factors to determine the range of the flow measurement in the MAFS with higher sensitivity and accuracy.
성경 이야기의 ‘관점(point de vue)’에 대하여

본고에서는 성경의 이야기를 해석하는 데 있어 설화비평적 방법론에서 설화성의 변형과 흐름에 중요한 변곡점으로 작용하는 ‘관점’의 문제에 대해 다루어 본다. 특별히 ‘관점’의 문제를 텍스트에 등장하는 ‘설화자’의 전망의 차원에서 다루고 있는 Gérard Genette, 설화자나 등장인물의 대상에 대한 인지적 태도에 따라 ‘관점’을 정리하는 Alain Rabatel, 그리고 관점이 놓여지는 시·공간적 형태와 관념적 상황을 통해 다양한 ‘관점’을 구별하는 Boris Uspensky의 이론을 소개한다. 이어서 이야기 내 설화자와 등장인물을 중심으로 설화 흐름의 변형에 집중하는 설화 비평적 ‘관점’의 이론과 결을 달리하는 기호학적 ‘관점’의 문제를 제기함으로써 본고가 소개하는 이야기의 ‘관점’에 대한 전망의 폭을 넓히고자 한다. 기호학은 설화 비평에서 말하는 관점을 독자의 ‘의미작용(significaiton)’과 그 구조화의 작업으로 이해하는바, 객관적 이야기가 아닌 이야기를 수용하는 독자의 입장에서 바라보는 ‘관점’의 문제를 다루어 본다. 독자가 하나의 이야기를 읽을 때 이야기는 ‘발화체’로서 독자에게 말을 건네는 것으로 기호학은 이해한다. 발화의 순간에 독자는 텍스트의 단어가 아니라 자신의 인식 체계 내에서 또 다른 코드로 단어를 재구성함으로써 새로운 의미구조를 창조한다. 기호학은 이 창조의 작업을 ‘의미잡기’로 이해한다. 기호학의 관점은 이 ‘의미잡기’의 구조에 관한 것이고 그 구조는 기존의 독자가 아닌 새로운 독자의 ‘되어감’, 곧 ‘새로운 신학의 주체’로 거듭나는 바탕이 된다. 하여, 독자의 입장에서 바라보는 이야기의 ‘관점’에 대한 논증을 통해 본고의 마지막 결론은, 오늘을 살아가는 독자의 ‘읽기 행위’ 안에 성경 이야기가 제시하는 의미론적 전망을 새롭게 구성하고 그 구성이 곧 ‘신학하는 주체’로서 독자가 거듭나는, 이른바 ‘말씀의 육화’의 자리가 곧 독자의 자리가 될 수 있음을 짚어보고자 한다. This article consists of the question of the point of view participating in the derivation and the unfolding of the unity and coherence of the narrativity. For the first part, we present the theories of the point of view in the field of narratology: the theory of Gérard Genette by whom the question of the point of view is concentrated on the narrator’s perspective; the theory of Alain Rabatel for whom the question of the point of view is to seek the congenitive attitude of a subject in relation to the object; Boris Uspensky’s theory which focuses on the narrator’s ideology of a story that is represented in the articulation of spatial and temporal structuring. After having presented the theories of the narratological point of view, this article evokes the question of the semiotic point of view which is located in the position of the reader. The Semiotics considers the point of view as a structuring of ‘sens’ which is done by the act of reading. When a reader reads a narrative, the narrative becomes an enunciator who speaks to the reader and the reader constructs a structure of a form of sens. The Semiotics calls this structuring as ‘the grasp of the sens’ by which the reader becomes the theological subject. On the theological subject, the Word is embodied in the place of the reader.
