Shakespearean tragedy is essentially aimed at a rehabilitation of order. Shakespeare's histories treat an order of the outer world and his tragedies, the inner world. In tragedy, tragic characters bring about not only their self- destruction falls but the connected disorder. Hamlet is the most well-expressed work an a course of the rehabilitation of the inner order. By reading it, we can understand an essential meaning that Hamlet gives to us. Especially, the courses of the distress that prince Hamlet suffers from the spritual endeavor to rehabilitate the distrusted truth of the palace, or country create a great impression and arouse a great pity. The protagonist Hamlet realizes a providence of heaven in the course of rehabilitating an order by means of a revenge. Therefore, he put his motive of act in charge of providence. Finally, by doing so, even though he is killed, Hamlet wins a spritual stability. The focus of this paper is to understand the essense of inner(spiritual) order by awakening the position of a man in the universe descrived in a Shakespearean tragdy Hamlet.

In this paper, we propose an edge histogram descriptor to efficiently represent the edge distribution in the image for MPEG-7. To this end, we adopt global, semi-global, and local edge histogram bins. Also, we extract the edge information from the image in terms of image blocks rather than pixels, which reduces the extraction complexity and is also applicable to the block-based compression standards such as MPEG-1, and 2. Experimental results show that the proposed method yields better retrieval accuracy and feature extraction speed comparing to other non-homogeneous texture descriptors of MPEG-7 including the wavelet-based descriptor and local edge-based descriptor.
백서의 실험적 치아이동시 Nitric Oxide Synthetase 발현에 관한 연구

Nitric oxide(NO) has been reported to be one of the mediators relating to bone remodeling. Nitric oxide is synthesized from L-arguinine by nitric oxide synthetase(NOS), which is largely divided into two groups. One group which is composed of NOS_1 and NOS_3, is dependent of calcium or calmodulin. The other consisted of NOS_2, which is independent of calcium or calmodulin. NOS is thought to be a possible intermediate affecting in the course of tooth movement. This study was designed to evaluate the expression of nitrous oxide synthetase(NOS) in periodontal tissue during the experimental movement of rat incisors, by LSAB(labelled streptavidine biotin) immunohistochemical staining for NOS_2 and NOS_3. Twenty seven Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into a control group(3 rats), and 6 experimental groups(24 rats), to which 75g of force was applied, with helical springs across the maxillary incisors. Rats of experimental groups were sacrificed at 12 hours, 1, 4, 7, 14 and 28 days after force application, respectively. After that, the tissues of the control group and experimental groups were studied immunohistochemically. The results were as follows : 1. In control group, the expression of NOS_3 was rare in gingiva, dentin, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone, and was mild in the capillaries of pulp and intermaxillary suture. And the expression of NOS_2 showed similar pattern to that of NOS_3. 2. There were no differences in the expression of NOS_2 or NOS_3 in dentin, gingiva, cementum, cementoblast and odontoblast, between control and experimental groups, regardless of the duration of the force application. 3. The expression of NOS_3 began to increase at 4 days and showed to the highest degree at 7 days after force application, in the apical region of pressure side of periodontal ligament in experimental groups. 4. The expression of NOS_3 in alveolar bone was rare until 7 days, after which it increased to mild degree at 14 days through 28 days in experimental group. But there was no difference between pressure and tension side of periodontal ligament. 5. The expression of NOS_2 in periodontal ligament was mild from 7 days after force application, regardless of the side of periodontium, which was generally more evident than that of NOS_3. 6. The expression of NOS_2 in alveolar bone increased to mild degree at 14 days after force application, and it was evident in osteoclasts and osteocytes. And the expression of NOS_2 was little more stronger in the tension side than that of pressure side of alveolar bone.

본 논문에서는 프랙탈 영상 압축에 추정 통계적 모델 정합 방법을 적용하였다. 추정통계적 모델 정합을 이용한 블록 분류기는 블록내 픽셀의 절대적 위치와 그것의 밝기 세기 값을 영상 블록 분류에 적용하므로 더 좋은 성능과 다양한 형태의 사용자 정의 블록의 설정이 가능하다. 사용자 정의 블록 분류 결과를 영상 압축의 한 분야인 프랙탈 영상 압축에 적용하였다. 실험결과 부호화에 필요한 탐색 횟수를 줄일 수 있었고, 영상의 압축 복원시 윤곽선 부분을 충실히 재현해 냄을 확인하였다. In this paper, we apply the stochastic model-fitting criterion to the block classification, which is required for a fractal-based image compression. Since the proposed block classification considers the absolute location of a pixel in the block as well as its gray level, it can increase the classification performance. Also, since we can define various edge blocks for the classification, the compression method can preserve the edge information. We applied the user-defined model block classification method for the fractal-based image compression. Experimental results show that the proposed method yields higher PSNR with reduced computational complexity.
