When deep hole drilling with BTA drill, there are serious problems such as accuracy of diameter, surface roughness to inhibit the required qualities. With the purpose of the accuracy improvement in deep hole drilling, we investigated the influence of the drilled hole accuracy and the cutting resistance of materials that occurred as the variation of the cutting condition after deep hole drilling with BTA drill on fuel oil supply pipe for large ship.

Process of production of rapid prototype increase to material in stratification or does solidification and fill section of each layer as is perfect as increases volume. however,time and expense bring exhausted shortcoming. Because this adds volume of unnecessary section. Wish to solve this defect using hollow model. The inside is empty the model has the wall thickness which is uniform and the inside is empty to create the model. This paper wished to grasp that do empty solid model's properties of matter inside and grasp applicable thickness to actuality product.

Light weight of vehicles by composite materials makes possible high speed, energy saving, and low repair cost. As Bimodal Tram and Tilting Train eXpress(TTX) use carbon composite material for their bodies, safety for passengers and electrical devices against unexpected failures has been issued more than ever. Lightning strike which generates high voltages and large currents is the worst case for the safety of passengers and devices. With this background, we experimentally investigated the insulation breakdown phenomena on carbon composite materials by the application of lightning surge voltage and current. From the experimental results, we could estimate whether the composite body is safe or not for the inside passengers and devices against lightning strikes.

A great variety of products rely on this technology for the production of the dies and molds used in manufacturing. Ball-end milling is necessary in manufacturing die and mold including sculptured surface. Also cutting force was changed according to the cutting method and cutting. This study explains that machining force is changed to cutting direction. we need to think that ball endmill's pick point is included while working on it. So propose of this study is to analysis tool deformation and life of machining force changed to cutting direction.

This study is for aspheric lens that is one of a core technology in the optical industry. The feature of a aspheric lens is not to have the spherical aberration. So in optical industry, aspheric lens are essential element to miniaturization, high effectiveness and light weight. In this study we applied a lay back-tracer method using the index of refraction to design aspheric lens. We developed the automatic design program for aspheric lens by user interfacing program VisualLISP in AutoCAD. And we manufactured aspheric lens and measured it.

시흥 능곡 택지개발지구에서 발굴된 8구의 조선시대 사람뼈에 대한 신원 추정을 경기문화재단으로부터 의뢰받아 계측학적, 비계측학적 방법을 사용하여 성별, 키, 그리고 연령을 추정하였다. 발굴된 뼈는 부분적으로 파손되거나 소실된 부분이 많아 개인식별이 쉽지 않았다. 8구 중 6구는 회곽묘에서 발굴되었으며 그 중 5구는 합장묘에서 발굴되었고 2구는 토광묘에서 발굴되었다. 총 8구 중 4구는 여자로, 나머지 4구는 남자로 추정할 수 있었다. 4구는 연령을 추정할 수 없었고 한 구는 청소년으로 추정되었으며 3구는 40대에서 50대로 추정할 수 있었다. 키를 추정할 수 있었던 4구 중 여자뼈는 약 150~157 cm으로 추정할 수 있었고 남자뼈는 165 cm으로 추정할 수 있었다. 뼈가 파손되거나 소실된 것이 많았고 상태도 좋지 않았으며 잔존치아가 많지 않아 계측적, 비계측적 방법을 이용한 신원확인이 어려웠다. 또한 묘에서 유물이 같이 발굴되지 않았을 경우 정확한 시대를 추정할 수 없어 어떤 묘가 먼저 조성되었는지 유추할 수 없어 매장시대와 뼈 상태의 상관관계를 파악할 수 없었다. 이러한 결과로 작은 뼈나 일부 파손된 뼈를 이용한 개인식별 방법과 시대추정을 할 수 있는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하며 이러한 자료의 구축에는 고고학자와 체질인류학자의 공조가 필요하다. GyeongGi Cultural Foundation was requested the identification of eight excavated human skeletons from Neunggok residential development district within Siheung-si. Those were measured for distinguishing sex, stature, and age at death using metric and non-metric methods. The identification of eight human remains was not easy because the excavated bones were destroyed partly and totally. Six skeletons were excavated from the limed-soiled mixture tomb; five remains among 8 were buried in same grave and 2 skeletons were excavated from the earthen tomb. Four remains were determined female skeletons. One skeleton was assumed adolescence, three skeletons were estimated 40’s~50’s years old and others couldn’t be done. Four among eight remain skeletons, the stature of female remains was around 150~157 cm and male’s stature was around 165 cm. Most bones were damaged and destroyed, and the remaining teeth on the maxilla and mandible were not enough for identification. We couldn’t identify through metric and non-metric methods. If the human skeletal remains were not found with artifact, those couldn’t determine the period. So we couldn’t know the relationship between the period of burial and condition of bones. For this reason, we will study the identification using the small and damaged bones. Anthropologists and archeaologists need to work together to make database to determine identification and period.

We produce master patern with the rapid prototyping and to research the process which produces the prototype with vacumm casting in study. In order to select the condition where the shrinkage which appears in each process becomes smallest it used the DOE. We could confirm error value using reverse engineering. After getting the P-value with the method due to the Full Factorial Design and the ANOVA 2-way it will be able to judge the factor which gives an effect to error. It applied the error of each process in the masterpattern and improves the Size Precision of vacuum casting prototype the method which it presented.
