        Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy in Canine Nasal Transitional Cell Carcinoma

        An 11-year-old neutered male Maltese presented for radiation therapy for nasal transitional cell carcinoma. Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) was provided for the owner’s request. Clinical signs improved 6 days after radiation therapy. Adverse effects including alopecia and pigmentation on the facial region were observed at 21 days after radiation therapy. The first follow-up computed tomography (CT) 96 days after SBRT revealed that the nasal tumor had decreased by 60.63% compared with the pre-treatment volume. Clinical signs related with the tumor reassigned 151 days after SBRT, and the second follow-up CT revealed tumor relapse. The patient was died 238 days after SBRT due to tumor relapse. SBRT showed a good tumor control effect with relatively mild radiation toxicity relative to other radiation therapy modalities, in accordance with a previous study. Further studies are needed to establish an effective treatment protocol, such as total dose, fractional dose, and inter-fractional period, in canine malignant nasal tumors.

        긴장력이 도입된 콘크리트 충전 강관말뚝을 사용한 복합말뚝의 수평거동 특성

        Concrete filled steel tube (PCFT) piles, which compose PHC piles inside thin steel pipes, were developed to increase the flexural strength of the pile with respect to the horizontal load. In order to compare the flexural strength of PCFT pile with that of steel pipe pile, several flexural tests were performed on the PCFT and steel pipe piles with the same diameter and the P-M curves for both piles were constructed by the limit state design method. Four test piles were also installed and lateral pile load tests were performed to compare the lateral load capacities and lateral behaviors of the hybrid composite piles using PCFT piles and the existing piles such as HCP and steel pipe piles. The flexural test results showed that the flexural strength of PCFT piles was 18.7% higher than that of steel pipe piles with thickness of 12mm and the same diameter, and the mid-span deflection of piles was 50% lower than that of steel pipe piles at the same bending moment. From the P-M curves, it can be seen that the flexural strength of PCFT piles subjected to the vertical load is greater than that of steel pipe piles, but the flexural strength of PCFT piles subjected to the pullout load is lower than that of steel pipe piles. In addition, field pile load tests showed that the PCFT hybrid composite pile has 60.5% greater lateral load capacity than the HCP and 35.8% greater lateral load capacity than the steel pipe pile when the length of the upper pile in hybrid composite piles was the same.

        산업구조와 일치하는 실업계고의 특성화 방향 연구 - 서울특별시 실업계고를 중심으로 -

        우리 사회는 우수한 산업인력을 양성하는 실업교육의 획기적인 변화를 요구하고 있다. 그러나 산업구조의 변화에 대응하지 못하는 실업교육 제도, 교육수요자의 인문계 고교 선호 경향 등은 실업계 교육을 위기로 몰아가고 있다. 따라서 실업계고가 경제 성장의 원동력이 되는 산업 인력의 육성과 공급이라는 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 실업교육 패러다임의 변화가 절실하다고 할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 실업계고의 경쟁력 강화를 위해서 산업구조의 변화에 부응하는 실업계고의 특성화 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 본 연구는 산ㆍ학 클러스터 구축을 위해 서울특별시를 5대 권역으로 구분하고, 권역별로 실업계고의 특성화 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 서울특별시 도심권은 출판ㆍ인쇄, 문화콘텐츠, 금융ㆍ보험ㆍ유통, 관광 2) 동북권은 섬유ㆍ가죽 제조 디지털, 광학, 산업디자인, 의상, 유통, 관광, 사회복지 3) 서북권은 기계장비, 디지털미디어, 문화콘텐츠, 보험ㆍ유통, 관광, 방송ㆍ미디어, 교육 4) 서남권은 자동차, 전자통신, 항공, 금융ㆍ회계, 영상미디어, IT/SW, 유통물류, 관광 5) 동남권은 정보처리, 세라믹, 건설, IT/SW, 국제무역, 유통물류, 광고, 부동산 등의 특성화가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. Our society is required to have fundamental changes in vocational education system to produce high-quality industrial labour forces. However, current vocational education system is in crisis since both the educatee prefer going to general high school for further study and vocational education system has not fulfilled the requirements of changing industrial structure. Therefore, paradigm of vocational education system is asked to change in order to produce and provide industrial labour, as it is core for the growth of economy. The study aims to suggest speciality direction for vocational high school so that it can correspond to industrial change and enhance competitiveness of vocational high schools. The recommendations we have made in this study are made based on five industry-school cluster zones in Seoul metropolitan. The results of this study are as follows. First, the Cental zone needs to specify in publishing, cultural contents, financeㆍinsuranceㆍdistribution and tourism. Second, the North east zone needs to specify in textile, leather manufacturing, digital media, optics, industrial design, fashion design, distribution, tourism and social welfare. Third, the North west zone needs to specify in machine equipment, digital media, cultural contents, insuranceㆍdistribution, tourism, broadcastingㆍmedia and education. Fourth, the South west zone needs to specify in automotive, electronic communication, aircraft, financeㆍaccounting, media, IT/SW and distribution and tourism. Fifth, the South south zone needs to specify in information processing, ceramics, construction, IT/SW, international trade, distribution, advertising and real estate.

        동재하시험을 통한 긴장력이 도입된 콘크리트 충전 강관말뚝을 사용한 복합말뚝의 연직지지력 평가

        To determine the optimum dynamic load test analysis for PCFT (Prestressed Concrete Filled steel Tube) hybrid composite piles that PCFT piles are connected to the top of PHC piles, the dynamic load tests and CAPWAP analyses were performed on two hybrid composite piles with steel pipe and PCFT piles as upper piles. The results of the dynamic load tests and CAPWAP analyses showed that the particle velocity measured in PCFT hybrid composite piles was equal to the wave speed of PHC piles when the strain gauges and accelerometers are attached to the surface of inner composite PHC pile after removing the steel pipe in the upper PCFT pile. In addition, when assuming that the material of that upper PCFT pile was the same as that of the lower PHC pile and the cross-sectional area of the steel pipe in upper PCFT pile was converted to that for concrete through the pile model (PM) in CAPWAP analysis, the accuracy of the CAPWAP analysis result for PCFT hybrid composite piles was very high. PCFT말뚝의 하부에 PHC말뚝을 연결한 PCFT 복합말뚝에 대한 최적의 동재하시험 분석 방법을 도출하기 위하여 동일 현장에 시공된 강관 복합말뚝과 PCFT 복합말뚝에 대해 동재하시험을 실시한 후 CAPWAP분석 결과를 비교하였다. 그 결과 PCFT 복합말뚝에 대한 동재하시험 수행 시 변형률계와 가속도계는 상부 PCFT말뚝에서 강관을 제거한 후 내부 합성 PHC말뚝에 부착하는 것이 바람직하고, 이렇게 측정된 PCFT 복합말뚝의 입자 변위속도는 PHC말뚝 고유의 변형파 속도인 4,000m/sec과 동일하였다. 그리고 CAPWAP분석 시 PM과정을 통해 상부 PCFT말뚝의 재질을 PHC말뚝과 동일하게 하고 말뚝 단면적으로 콘크리트로 환산한 단면적을 사용했을 때 CAPWAP분석의 정확도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다.

        성장혼합모형에서 잠재계층과 연속형 결과변인 간 관계 추정방법의 비교

        This study aims to provide researchers with guidelines on the appropriate estimation method to estimate the relationship between latent class and outcome variables in growth mixture models through Monte Carlo simulation. To this end, this study briefly introduces 1) the one-step method, 2) the PC method, 3) the Lanza method, 4) the traditional three-step method, 5) the new three-step method, and 6) the BCH method to estimate the relationship between latent class and outcome variables in growth mixture models, and compares the six estimation methods based on four performance criteria: relative bias, variance, power, and type I error through Monte Carlo simulation. The results of this study showed that the Lanza and BCH methods were superior across a range of conditions, with the Lanza and BCH methods being superior when the effect size was small and the Lanza method being superior when the effect size was large. Based on these findings, the significance, limitations, and follow-up studies were discussed.

        Electrical Transport Measurements and Degradation of Graphene/n-Si Schottky Junction Diodes

        We report on the electrical properties, such as the ideality factors and Schottky barrier heights,that were obtained by using current density - voltage (J − V ) and capacitance - voltage (C − V )characteristics. To fabricate circularly- and locally-contacted Au/Gr/n-Si Schottky diode, we depositedgraphene through the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) growth technique, and we employedreactive ion etching to reduce the leakage current of the Schottky diodes. The average values of thebarrier heights and the ideality factors from the J −V characteristics were determined to be 0.79± 0.01 eV and 1.80 ± 0.01, respectively. The Schottky barrier height and the doping concentrationfrom the C − V measurements were 0.85 eV and 1.76 × 1015 cm−3, respectively. Fromthe J − V characteristics, we obtained a relatively low reverse leakage current of 2.56 × 10−6mA/cm−2 at −2 V, which implies a well-defined rectifying behavior. Finally, we found that theGr/n-Si Schottky diodes that were exposed to ambient conditions for 7 days exhibited a 3.2-foldhigher sheet resistance compared with the as-fabricated Gr/n-Si diodes, implying a considerableelectrical degradation of the Gr/n-Si Schottky diodes.

      • 염류집적及 GAS해를 중심한 시설원예 토양의 제문제

        시설원예에서 토양 염류고농도장해와 gas장해를 최소한으로 축소시키기 위해서는 상술 한바와같이 토양용액의 농도를 낮추며, 토양의 이화학적성질을 양호케 개선함이 필요하다. 환토를 통하여 상토내에 신선한 토양공급을 하여 통기, 배수를 개선하는 방법도 중요한 것이다. 또한 시비되는 비료 종류를 주의하여 선택하며 시비방법도 과학적으로 하여서 일시에 다량을 시비하지 않고, 유기질비료도 첨가하여 토양의 물리적 성질을 항상 야호케 한다. 토양용액이 높은 토양을 심수처리 하여서 PH를 저하시키고, 유해 성분을 제거하여 작물체 생육에 알맞은 환경을 부여하는 것이 시설원예 특히 Vinly House내에서 요구된다. 그 외에도 화학비료를 중심적으로 시비하는 경우 유기질비료도 다량으로 공급하여 토양의 이화학성을 유지하고, 나아가 식물체에 유효한 미생물을 토양에 계속 부식함으로써 작물체 생육에 유효한 방법이다. 이런 방법이 강구되므로써 연작장해와 gas의 피해, 염류집적의 해, 미생물의 균형파괴를 방지하고, 나아가 충실한 생육과 결실을 기대하고, House내에서 작물의 계속재배와 충분한 수확을 기대할 수 있는 것이다.
