Meridian massage was performed for 4 weeks, 3 times a week for 20 minutes each sessions. The data were collected at pretest and posttest. SPSS win. 11.5 program was used. Fisher"s exact test and Mann Whitney U-test were used to analyze the Pre-treatment homogeneity. Wilcoxon Sign Rank test was used to find out the effectiveness within each groups. Mann Whitney U-test was used in comparing between the two groups. After meridian massage, there were significant differences in menopausal symptoms in experimental group(z=-2.583, p=.010) and pain between groups(U=86.00, p=.040). E₂ was not effective in both groups. The mood was effective in both groups, since the mood had influenced by interviewer's collecting data. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the experience of falls and identify risk factors associated with falls. Methods: The participants were 233 community-dwelling elderly people in two cities. Data were collected by interviewing the elderly with structured questionnaires from May to June, 2012. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and multiple logistic regression were performed using SPSS version 17.0. Results: Age, educational level, living arrangement, health status, the use of assistive devices, the number of medication, hypertension, arthralgia, dizziness, fall efficacy, fear of falling, activity of daily living, and quality of life were significant associated with fall experience. Through multiple logistic regression analysis, arthralgia, dizziness, fall efficacy, and fear of falling were identified as significant predictors of falls. Conclusion: It is important to identify the risk factors for falls among the elderly living in community. Fall prevention interventions should be multifactorial, especially for the elderly who were identified as the high risk group.

This study selected four universities with golf departments (majors), compared and analyzed their major curriculums, and attempted to search for future direction for the improvement of golf department-based curriculums based upon the results. It was held for about 30 days from April 1st to April 30th, 2020. With regard to research methods, analysis was conducted using curriculum case study methods, basic concepts and previous research were looked into through literary analysis, and validity was verified through in-depth interviews with experts. Research results showed that the educational goal of the golf departments (golf majors) of all case universities were commonly the cultivation of professionals in golf and universities composed curriculums based on core competencies grounded upon their concepts of talent and educational goals. Conclusions gained through these research results were that educational goals should be established to fit the characteristics of that academic field with focus placed on core competencies under the concepts of talent and ideologies of each school and university curriculums must be organized to reinforce core competencies upon educational goals. Also, through educational assessments, applications should be made to future curriculums and this should be utilized for curriculum improvements and courses should be formed so that students can be provided with practical learning in various fields of golf-related industries.

Objectives: This study is conducted to identify the effects of the activity program for preventing dementia against depression, cognitive function, and quality of life for the elderly. Methods: A non-equivalent control group with pretest-posttest design was used on 50 elderly who were assigned to the experimental and control group (25 for each group). Results: Cognitive function was significantly different between the two groups of the pretest and posttest (Z=4.217, p<.001). There were significant differences between the two groups of the pretest and posttest (Z=-2.324, p=.020) for the quality of life on the EQ-5D index. Conclusions: These findings confirmed that the activity program for preventing dementia was effective for improving cognitive functions and quality of life for the elderly. Therefore, it is further encouraged to perform the activity programs for preventing dementia within other community health posts and community centers. It is necessary to study the emotional supports from community health posts in the future.
