      • Olefin Block Copolymer(OBC)의 첨가제 배합에 따른 기계적 물성 연구

        신발에는 다양한 종류의 열가소성 고분자가 적용되고 있으며, 기능 및 물성 개선을 위해 보다 다양한 소재의 적용을 위한 연구를 수행하고 있으며, 최근에는 가교고무를 대체할 아웃솔 소재로 동적가교형 열가소성 고분자(TPV)가 개발되기도 하였다. 전통적으로 미드솔에는 열가소성 고분자 발포체 소재가 주로 사용되고 있으며, 대표적인 소재로는 폴리우레탄(PU)과 에틸렌비닐아세테이트(EVA)가 있다. 폴리우레탄은 반발탄성, 영구압축줄음율 등의 특성이 우수하나, 비중이 높고, 황변과 높은 가격으로 인해 사용이 제한적이며, 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 에틸렌비닐아세테이트는 반발탄성과 영구압축줄음율 등의 물성이 낮아 이를 개선하려는 연구가 활발히 진행중이다. 에틸렌비닐아세테이트에 비해 반발탄성이 우수한 올레핀 엘라스토머(POE)는 접착 문제로 그동안 사용이 제한적이었으나, 접착제 기술의 발전과 더불어 그 사용이 점점 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 올레핀 블록 엘라스토머(OBC)의 충진재, 커플링제, 가소제 등 각종 첨가제 배합에 따른 물성 변화를 비교·평가하고, 신발 소재로서의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다.

      • POE(Polyolefin Elastomer)의 첨가제 배합에 따른 유변특성 연구

        신발에는 다양한 탄성 고분자가 적용되고 있으며, 보다 높은 기능성과 물성을 제공하기 위하여 발포제, 가교제, 가공조제, 상용화제 등 다양한 첨가제를 적용하고 있다. 최근 기존의 EVA(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)계 배합에 비해 탄성 및 내구성이 우수한 다양한 TPE(Thermoplastic Elastomer)계 소재가 첨가 혹은 대체되는 경향이 있으며, 이중 modified PE(Polyethylene) 계열의 POE소재가 널리 각광 받고 있다. 상기의 POE소재는 C4~C8의 Branch구조로 인해 높은 탄성과, PE의 특성인 높은 화학적 내구성을 동시에 보유하여 최근 다양한 분야에 적용이 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 반면 상기의 POE소재는 그 구조로 인해, 비교적 단순한 PE의 유변특성과는 다른 유변특성을 가지며, 이로 인해 가공 공정 조건에 따라 제품 외관 및 품질의 편차가 증가할 수 있는 단점을 가진다. 또한, 성형 후 열적 내구성, 혹은 제품 변형 특성에 차이가 나타날 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 탄성이 높은 POE계 고분자의 단독, 혹은 첨가제 배합에 따른 유변특성 변화를 분석하여, POE계 소재의 가공 조건 설정 및 열적 내구성 향상을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 하였다.

      • 위상피이형성과 위암종에서 FasL의 발현 및 Apoptosis에 관한 연구

        Purpose: This study was to observe whether the apoptotic function of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) is induced in human gastric epithelial dysplasia and gastric adenocarcinoma according to the role of FasL expression. Materials and Methods: A total of 56 gastric epithelial dysplasia and gastric adenocarcinoma patients were enrolled in this study: 9 cases of gastric epithelial dysplasia, 18 cases of early gastric carcinomas (EGC) and 29 cases of advanced gastric carcinomas (AGC). Immunohistochemical staining was performed for FasL and CD45, and the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labelling (TUNEL) method was used to detect cell death in tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. Results: 1) Positive reactions of FasL to neoplastic cells were $88.9\%$ (8/9) in gastric epithelial dysplasia, $83.3\%$ (15/18) in EGC, and $75.9\%$ (22/29) in AGC. 2) Expression of TIL was decreased in the FasL positive region and was increased in the FasL negative region, and significant expression of TIL was observed in the AGC group (P=0.001). 3) Expression of apoptotic TIL was very similar to the FasL expression, and $100\%$ expression was observed in gastric epithelial dysplasia group. 4) Expression of apoptotic TIL was increased in the FasL positive region and decreased in the FasL negative region, and significant apoptotic expression was observed in the gastric epithelial dysplasia and EGC groups (P=0.0420, P=0.0263, respectively). Conclusion: These results suggest that FasL is a prevalent mediator of immune privilege in epithelial dysplasia and cancer of the stomach.

        만성 감염성 창상에 대한 변형 음압요법과 은이온 제재의 이용

        Purpose: Chronic infected wounds sustained over 4 weeks with exposed tendon or bone are difficult challenges to plastic surgeons. Vacuum assisted closure (VAC) device has been well used for the management of chronic wounds diminishing wound edema, reducing bacterial colonization, promoting formation of granulation tissue and local blood flow by negative pressure to wounds. But Commercial ready-made VAC device might have some difficulties to use because of its high expenses and heavy weight. So we modified traditional VAC device with silver dressing materials as topical therapeutic agents for control of superimposed bacterial wound infection such as MRSA, MRSE and peudomonas. Methods: We designed the modified VAC device using wall suction, 400 cc Hemovac and combined slow release silver dressing materials. We compared 5 consecutive patients' data treated by commercial ready-made VAC device(Group A) with 11 consecutive patients' data treated by modified VAC device combined with silver dressing materials(group B) from September 2004 to June 2007. Granulation tissue growth, wound discharge, wound culture and wound dressing expenses were compared between the two groups. Modified VAC device with silver dressing materials showed advantages of convenience, cost effectiveness and bacterial reversion. Conclusion: In combination of modified VAC device and silver dressing materials, our results demonstrated the usefulness of managing chronic open wounds superimposed bacterial infection, cost effectiveness compared with traditional VAC device and improvement of patient mobility.
