Recently, application of magnesium alloy sheets to automotive industry has been rapidly increasing However, the application is still challenging due to the inferior formability, which should be overcome by proper design of forming process. Therefore, reliable experimental data to be used for the complex material models for the optimization of forming process with magnesium alloys are essential. In this paper, a new cyclic load tester, which can measure the stress-strain curves of thin sheet metals under non-monotonous condition such as tension/compression or compression/tension, was developed. Especially, the new cyclic loading tester has a direct heating system being heated up to 400℃, thus the stress-strain curves under various level of temperature can be measured. Preliminary test results are demonstrated for the commercially available magnesium alloy sheet. But more investigations are necessary to improve the current feature of the tester.

A weatherstrip for an automobile door prevents outside dust, water, and noise from entering inside the car, and is an automotive component intimately associated with human sensitivity. The design of the weatherstrip must satisfy both sealing and door-closing criteria. Better sealing performance requires both higher reaction force and wider contact area, while better door-closing performance requires just the opposite. The door-closing performance involves a number of factors including the weatherstrip characteristics. And it has only been evaluated using experimental methods. But the experimental methods make it difficult to determine the main factors of door-closing efforts, and are not particularly useful in the development of optimized seal designs. This paper was introduced a three dimensional door closing analysis using explicit code for more realistic solution. In addition, we predicted the door closing velocity considering the reaction force of seals using the analysis result and the effect of air flow and door geometric at door closing.

일반적인 고무 부품의 해석적 피로 수명 예측은 다양한 피로시험 결과를 바탕으로 정의되는 피로수명식이 사용된다. 그러나, 이와 같은 방식은 피로 시험에 사용되는 비용적, 시간적인 문제로 인해 설계과정에서 매우 제한적으로 사용된다. 더욱이, 고무재료의 비규격화 및 임의적인 특성변화가 피로시험 결과의 데이터베이스화를 어렵게 만든다. 본 논문에서는 찢김에너지를 이용한 또다른 피로수명 예측 방식을 제안하였다. 자동차용 방진고무들에 대한 동적, 정적 찢김시험 및 복잡한 형상을 갖는 고무 부품의 찢김에너지를 계산하기 위하여 가상 결함을 고려한 유한요소 정식화를 수행하였다. 제안된 방법을 사용하여, 자동차용 모터 마운트의 피로 수명을 예측해 보았고, 실제 수명과 예측된 수명을 비교하여 신뢰성을 검증해 보았다. A commonly analytical estimation of fatigue life on rubber components is using fatigue life equation based on various fatigue test results. However, such method has very restricted applicability in actual designing processes because performing fatigue tests requires a lot of time and money. In addition, non-standard rubber materials and their randomness make it hard to make databases. In this paper, the other fatigue life estimation method using tearing energy was suggested. We performed static and dynamic tearing test about automotive vibration rubber materials and a finite element formulation using a virtual crack to calculate the tearing energy of rubber components whit complicated shapes. To using the suggested method, fatigue life of an automotive motor mount has been estimated and verified the reliability of this method by using comparison between the estimated values ad the actual fatigue life.

Effects of organic solvents fraction from Ainsliaea acerifolia ethanol extract on alcohol metabolism in rats were examined and the results were as follows: Ethanol souble fraction, after a single oral administration to rats, was found to cause a significant decrease in the serum ethanol concentration as well as enhancement of liver cytosolic alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH) activity, on the other hand, the fraction insouble in ethanol was found to cause an increase ethanol concentration in the blood and inhibit ADH activity.

파워 글라스 시스템의 특성은 주로 윈도우 레귤레이터의 거동 특성과 글라스 런에 의한 저항에 의해 결정되며, 주로 시험 결과 분석을 통해 시스템의 성능을 예측한다. 본 논문에서는 시험적인 방법의 한계를 해결하기 위해, 익스플리시트 코드를 사용한 해석적 방법을 제안하였다. 해석 모델에 사용한 글라스 런의 마찰 계수는 다양한 조건에서의 마찰 시험을 실시하여 구하였으며, 무니-리블린 모델을 사용하였다. 또한, 윈도우 레귤레이터 파트의 메카니즘은 패스트 벨트 시스템과 슬립 링 요소를 사용하여 모델링 하였고, 상승시 발생하는 전류와 하중과의 상관관계 분석을 통해 레귤레이션 메카니즘의 신뢰성을 검증하였고, 모터의 특성을 고려하여 신뢰성 있는 글라스 상승 시간을 예측하였다. The performance of power window system was decided by driving characteristics of the window regulator part and reaction by the glass run. The performance of power window system usually has been predicted by experimental methods. In this paper, analytical method using the explicit code was suggested to overcome the limit of the experimental methods. The friction coefficient of grass run was obtained by the friction test at various conditions and the Mooney-Rivlin model was used. Also, a mechanism of window regulator consisted with the fast belt system and the slip ring elements. And, we conducted the analysis considering characteristic of a motor and obtained the lifting speed of automotive glass with high reliability.

A weatherstrip is a mechanical element, which has the function of isolating dust, rain, noise and vibration from outside of a car. The basic requirement of door seal is a good sealing and minimizing door closing effort. But better sealing performance requires both higher reaction force and wider contact area, while better door-closing performance requires just the opposite. This paper was introduced the optimization process of automotive door seal using response surface method, downhill simplex method, and a three dimensional door closing analysis using explicit code for more realistic solution. In addition, we showed the material test method of door seal for reliability analysis result.
