Hot wall epitaxy법에 의한 MgGa₂Se₄ 단결정 박막 성장과 광학적 특성

단결정 성장을 위한 $MgGa_2Se_4$ 다결정은 수평 전기로에서 합성하였으며, 결정구조는 rhombohedral이고 격자상수 $a_0$는 3.953 ${\AA}$, $c_0$는 38.890 ${\AA}$였다. $MgGa_2Se_4$ 단결정박막은 HWE(Hot Wall Epitaxy) 방법으로 반절연성 GaAs(100)기판에 성장시켰다. 단결정박막의 성장 조건은 증발원의 온도 $610^{\circ}C$, 기판의 온도 $400^{\circ}C$에서 진행되었으며 성장 속도는 0.5 ${\mu}m/h$였다. 단결정박막의 결정성은 이중 결정 x-선 회절곡선의 반폭치와 X-선 회절무늬의 ${\omega}-2{\theta}$로부터 구하여 최적 성장 조건을 알 수 있었다. Hall 효과는 van der Pauw 방법에 의해 측정되었으며, 온도에 의존하는 운반자 농도와 이동도는 293 K에서 각각 $6.21{\times}10^{18}/cm^3$, 248 $cm^2/v{\cdot}s$였다. $MgGa_2Se_4$/SI(Semi-Insulated) GaAs(100) 단결정 박막의 광흡수 스펙트럼을 10 K에서 293 K까지 측정하였다. 광흡수 스펙트럼으로부터 구한 에너지 갭 $E_g(T)$는 varshni 공식 $E_g(T)=E_g(0)=({\alpha}T^2/T+{\beta})$을 잘 만족함을 알 수 있었다. 여기서 $E_g(0)=2.34\;eV$, ${\alpha}=8.81{\times}10^{-4}\;eV/K$, ${\beta}=251\;K$였다. A stoichiometric mixture of evaporating materials for $MgGa_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films was prepared from horizontal electric furnace. The crystal structure of these compounds has a rhombohedral structure with lattice constants $a_0=3.953\;{\AA}$, $c_0=38.890\;{\AA}$. To obtain the single crystal thin films, $MgGa_2Se_4$ mixed crystal was deposited on thoroughly etched semi-insulating GaAs(100) substrate by the Hot Wall Epitaxy (HWE) system. The source and substrate temperatures were $610^{\circ}C$ and $400^{\circ}C$, respectively. The crystalline structure of the single crystal thin films was investigated by the double crystal X-ray rocking curve and X-ray diffraction ${\omega}-2{\theta}$ scans. The carrier density and mobility of $MgGa_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films measured from Hall effect by van der Pauw method were $6.21{\times}10^{18}\;cm^{-3}$ and 248 $cm^2/v{\cdot}s$ at 293 K, respectively. The optical absorption of $MgGa_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films was investigated in the temperature range from 10 K to 293 K. The temperature dependence of the optical energy gap of the $MgGa_2Se_4$ obtained from the absorption spectra was well described by the Varshni's equation, $E_g(T)=E_g(0)-({\alpha}T^2/T+{\beta})$. The constants of Varshni's equation had the values of $E_g(0)=2.34\;eV$, ${\alpha}=8.81{\times}10^{-4}\;eV/K$ and ${\beta}=251\;K$, respectively.

언론 수용자의 공정성 개념에 대한 탐색적 연구

본 연구는 기존 공정성 연구에서 소홀하게 취급됐던 언론의 일반 수용자 시각에서 공정성에 접근하고자 하는 탐색적 시도이다. 본 연구는 공정성 개념의 경험적 탐구라는 측면에서 일반 언론 수용자를 대상으로 (불)공정성 개념의 의미를 구체적으로 탐색하여 기존의 개념 혹은 전문인에 의해 구축되었던 개념과의 비교를 시도했다. 또한 일반 수용자 개념 구성의 특성과 시사점이 검토되었다. 본 연구를 위해서 서울지역 300명의 성인을 대상으로 591개 언론의 불곰정한 사례를 모아 분석한 결과 수용자들이 느끼는 기장 심각한 불공정은 언론이 중립적이지 못하다는 것과 더불어 진실성과 균형성에 문제가 있음을 지적하였다. 연구결과 기존의 개념적 구성과는 달리 일반 수용자들은 언론의 윤리성과 상업성이 불공정성의 요소가 될 수 있다는 점을 제기한 반면, 기존 연구에서 이론적으로 중요한 개념적 구성요소였던 독립성과 적절성은 수용자들에게 별로 중요한 의미를 각지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구 결과를 로대로 언론의 일반 수용자에게 언론의 공정성은 어떤 의미를 가지며 그들이 공정성을 평가하는 데 있어 어떠한 범주들이 영향을 미치고 있는지가 검토되었다. The study tried to explore ordinary people's press fairness concept being neglected by the mainstream of fairness research thus far. With empirical standpoint, this study first investigated (un)fairness concept held by general audience, and then compared it with existing ones long suggested by experts such as scholars and media workers. Also, the study examined audience's concept construct in terms of its characteristics and implications. A systematic sample of 300 adults in Seoul was interviewed and their answers (instances of press unfairness) were analyzed and categorized. The most serious problem in fairness, they pointed, was that the press's not neutral. Also, truth and balance were importantly raised as a press problem with regard to fairness. The result showed press ethics and commercial morals could be a significant element for people's view on press fairness. These elements are new to the literature and heuristic regarding how to approach toward fairness issue in our society. The study also discusses the implications of other findings.

J.S Mill의 자유원리에 대한 고찰

Today's world crisis is deep and big. How to resolve this crisis is a question of method and purpose. Without questioning philosophy and value, purpose cannot be determined. Thus, the question about today's crisis is a question about philosophy and value. Libertyis basic value of free democratic republic. Conflict between conservatives and progressives has aggravated under the name of liberty. Therefore, there is a strong necessity to question everyone about what liberty is. This study would like to navigate through J.S. Mill's <On Liberty>, which provides classical answer, to contemplate the conundrum. Mill's ideology lies on classical liberalism and utilitarianism. Therefore, not only liberalism's philosophical basis self-sovereignty and rationality but also utilitarianism constitutes the foundation of Mill's <On Liberty>. Mill's individual is a freeman regarded as a self-governor, and a self-governor regarded as a freeman. Only when there is rationality, can liberty be emanated and truth be disclosed. Rationality without liberty is lifeless, and neither truth nor social progress can be observed. Thus, utility is most gratified when liberty is at its full stance. Mill's liberty, liberty as an indulgence, however, cannot violate one or another's life. Also, Mill does not allow right to abandon one's own liberty. These basic constraints on liberty cannot be violated by utility. In other words, Mill's liberty precedes utilitarianism. Mill provides self-sovereignty as a rationale for the protection of liberty and constraints. Moreover, he effectively digests the principles of utilitarianism into liberalism. Liberty based on rationality naturally connects with value-pluralism and thus displays modern discourse of toleration. Liberty to select values grant exemption from responsibilityon unselected conducts. There exists no duty to follow democratic decisions that one did not choose. Thus, Mill's libertarianism disconnects with democracy. Furthermore, Mill does not intend to expand liberty, but only remain as a passive libertarianism, which resists against restraints on liberty. 현재 세계의 위기는 크고 깊다. 위기를 어떻게 타개할 것인가는 방법에 대한 질문이자 목적에 대한 질문이다. 철학과 가치에 대한 질문 없이 목적지를 정할 수 없다. 결국 현재 위기에 대한 질문은 철학과 가치에 대한 질문이다. 자유민주공화국에서 자유는 기본가치다. 자유의 이름으로 진보와 보수의 갈등이 심화되고 있다. 따라서 자유가 무엇인지 모두에게 물어야 할 필요가 있다. 자유의 본질이 무엇인지에 대한 답을 J.S Mill의 <자유론(On Liberty)>에서 찾고자 한다. 밀의 사상은 고전적인 자유주의 및 공리주의를 근간으로 하고 있다. 밀의 개인은 자유인인 동시에 자기 주권자이고, 자기 주권자인 동시에 자유인이다. 이성이 보장될 때 자유가 가장 잘 발휘되고 진리에 더 가까이 갈 수 있다. 자유없는 이성은 죽은 이성이며, 자유 없이 진리의 발견도 사회 발전도 없다. 따라서 가장 자유로울 때 공리는 자연스럽게 충족된다. 멋대로의 자유를 본질로 하고 있는 밀의 자유론도 자신의 생명이나 타인의 생명을 침해할 수 없다. 또한 자기 자신의 자유를 포기할 권리도 없다. 이런 자유에 대한 본질적인 제한은 공리로도 침해할 수 없다. 따라서 밀의 자유론은 공리주의에 선행한다. 밀은 자기주권논리를 통해 자유에 대한 보호 논리와 규제논리를 끌어내고, 자유주의 논리 속에 공리주의를 적절하게 소화해내고 있다. 이성에 근거한 자유는 자연스럽게 가치다원주의로 연결됨으로써 근대적 관용 논리를 제공하고 있다. 각자가 자유롭게 선택한 가치들은 자신이 선택하지 않은 일에 대한 책임을 면제한다. 자신이 선택하지 않은 민주적 결정에 따를 의무도 없다. 따라서 밀의 자유론은 민주주의와 연결되지 않는다. 그리고 밀의 자유론은 자유의 촉진을 허락하지 않으며, 오직 자유의 속박을 거부하는 소극적 자유론이다.

언론은 항상 무엇이 옳고 그런지를 판단해야 한다. 그것은 과거, 현재, 미래에 대한 판단이기도 하다. 따라서 판단의 기준이 필요하다. 언론보도에 대한 판단기준이 서로 다른 경우 언론보도에 대한 공정성 논란이 야기될 수 있다. 현대사회는 다원적인 가치사회다. 따라서 단일 가치로 모든 것을 판단하는 것은 한계가 있다. 그렇다면 다양한 가치들이 갖는 장점과 한계를 명확히 알 필요가 있다. 그래야만 가치들 간의 차이로 인해 발생하는 공정성 시비로부터 벗어날 수 있다. 옳은 가치들 간의 선택문제라면 무엇을 선택하든 옳다. 서로 다른 가치를 선택했지만 둘 다 틀리지 않음을 인정할 수 있다. 그렇다면 서로를 관용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 언론이 현대사회에서 가장 대표적인 가치기준인 공리주의를 사용할 때 어떤 문제가 발생할 수 있는가를 분석했다. 공리주의 논리가 안고 있는 본질적인 문제가 무엇인지, 공리주의 논리에 따라 사회 논란거리를 보도할 때 어떤 문제가 발생할 수 있는지를 분석했다. 공리주의 한계는 또 다른 가치가 필요하다는 것을 말한다. 공리주의 외에 다른 가치를 인정할 수 있다면 다른 가치 선택으로 인한 공정성 시비는 벗어날 수 있다. 그리고 서로 관용할 수 있다. 언론보도의 가치기준에 대한 연구는 언론의 공정성 문제를 좀 더 근본적으로 이해할 수 있도록 할 것이다. The press ought to determine what’s right and wrong. The judgment concerns the time matters of past, present, and future. This requires a certain criteria on which the press has to rely and decide. In case there exist competitive views on standards, the press fairness may suffer. The modern society assures pluralism offering various values and views. Judgment from a single value thus is not only limited but also dangerous. Pluralism demands our realization that various values have both strength and weakness. When we come to such acknowledgement, the dispute around press fairness may be adequately dismantled. Mutual recognition between different values but in same volition leads to plenty of tolerance and respect. This article reviewed some issues which occurred when the press relies on utilitarian point of view. Utilitarianism is the typical standard in our times. The paper discussed the pitfall of the idea’s essence and logic. Further, the paper dealt with the problem when the press carries out the utilitarian idea in the field. The article suggests that we acknowledge the limitation of a certain standard of value and appreciate more diverse views. In doing so, we may escape from the trapped fairness dispute and provide fundamental understanding of how to approach to the issue.

In this paper, we have investigated electro-luminescent (EL) characteristics of organic EL device using Alq₃, PBD as emitting material. Current and luminance can be seen that express a similar relativity in voltage and could know that luminance is expressing current relativity.

디지털 구조조정 시대의 지역신문 생존전략

디지털 미디어 환경은 뉴스 콘텐츠의 생산과 분배, 소비 지형을 변화시키고 있다. 이런 환경속에서 지역신문의 창조적인 환경 적응이 필요하다. 현재 지역신문의 디지털 적응과정을 살펴보고 새로운 대응전략을 제시하는 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 현재 지역신문은 신문시장으로부터 이탈하는 상대적으로 젊은 독자들을 위한 멀티비즈니스 전략을 사용하고 있지만 그 효과는 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 지역 신문산업이 갖고 있는 열악한 시장구조, 그로 인한 낮은 뉴스 콘텐츠 품질, 제작인력의 한계, 뉴미디어 전략 한계 등의 중첩적인 결과다. 구조 결정적인 요인이 큰 상황에서 지역언론의 새로운 생존방안을 논의하는 것 역시 한계를 가질 수 밖에 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 새로운 방향을 모색하지 않으면 안되는 것 또한 현실이다. 본 연구는 인쇄시설 등 장치산업에서 뉴스 콘텐츠 산업으로의 전환, 지역신문사의 브랜드 가치 창출, 복합문화산업으로 변화, 지역 종합문화정보 포털로서의 신문사, 멀티태스커로서의 전문기자 교육, 생활 밀착형 정보생산과 생활 광고 개발 등을 방안으로 제시하고 있다. Digital media environment changes the production, distribution, consumption of news contents terrain. Such changing circumstance requires local paper adapt the new and creative digital course. The study examines local paper’s digital adaptation process and suggests strategy to correspond new challenges. Local paper has utilized multi-business tactic for young readers who have been away from the market. The effect, so far, is insignificant. Several aspects contributed the result: the limited market size, the shortage of news labor; low quality news contents; strategic problems in new media. In spite of the structure-determining hardship, local paper tries to seek new possibilities. The study suggests several considerations: transitions to news contents industry infrastructure including printing facility, increasing brand value as local press, functioning a portal site as multi-cultural institution and local information hub, training newsmen as muti-tasking professionals, producing everyday-life neighbor news and information, etc.
