고도 익산 백제문화유산의 활용 방안

A Study on the Utilization of Baekje Cultural Heritage in Iksan Mun, Ehwa (Research Institute for the Mahan-Baekje Culture, Wonkwang University) This is to study how to utilize cultural inheritances of Baekje Kingdom in Iksan. There are several cultural inheritances of Baekje in Iksan, especially Kumma-myon and Wangkung-myon, including Wangkungri remains and Miruksa temple sites. It was under the historical and cultural background that the places were designated as an ancient capital according to the special law for the preservation of ancient capitals in 2004. And in 2006, the work began to register Iksan historical site as an UNESCO world heritage site. From the year 2011, the work expanded with the new name ‘Baekje historical site’ combining Iksan site and Kongju and Buyeo site. Then Baekje historical site was registered as a UNESCO world heritage site this July. Considering such a significant importance of Baekje cultural heritage, some measures have to be taken for locals and visitors as well as a few experts to enjoy the cultural heritage. The utilization of cultural inheritance of Baekje Kingdom will contribute to solving the problem. We can utilize cultural heritage effectively through tourism and education. In case of Iksan site, most of the heritage are buried in the ground. Therefore their utilization is as much difficult, compared with cultural heritage of other sites. To make good use of cultural heritage, several suggestions will be studied profoundly, for example, the application of diverse mass communication and digital instruments, the art of storytelling, and the mobilization of human and material resources, as well as the preservation and the maintenance of cultural heritage sites. 본고는 익산지역에 산재해 있는 백제문화유산의 활용방안을 검토하기 위하여 작성되었다. 익산지역에는 금마면과 왕궁면을 중심으로 하여 왕궁리유적과 미륵사지 등 백제문화유산이 다수 분포하고 있다. 이러한 역사문화적 환경을 바탕으로 2004년에는 「고도보존에 관한 특별법」에 의하여 고도로 지정되었으며, 2006년부터는 「익산역사유적지구 세계유산등재추진」 작업이 시작되었다. 2011년 「공주․부여역사유적지구」와 통합하여 「백제역사유적지구」라는 명칭으로 세계유산등재가 추진되었으며, 올해 7월 왕궁리유적과 미륵사지가 공주․부여의 백제문화유산과 함께 <백제역사유적지구>라는 명칭으로 세계유산에 등재되었다. 이와같이 미륵사지, 왕궁리유적 등 익산의 백제문화유산이 그 가치를 인정받고 있는 이 때에 지역주민과 내방객들이 그 가치를 향유할 수 있도록 하기 위한 다양한 방안을 마련해야 할 과제가 대두되었다. 이에 과제 해결 방안의 하나로 백제문화유산을 활용한 다양한 방법을 사례를 들어가면서 제시함으로써, 이러한 목적을 이루는데 일조하고자 한다. 문화유산은 관광과 교육의 목적에서 다양한 방법으로 활용되는데 익산지역의 백제문화유산은 주로 매장문화유산으로서 일반 문화유산에 비하여 문화유산의 활용에 어려움이 큰 편이다. 따라서 활용의 효과를 극대화하기 위하여 문화유산의 보존 및 정비를 기본으로 하고, 첨단 디지털 기법과 스토리텔링 기법, 지역의 인적․물적 자원 활용 등 몇 가지의 방안을 제시해 보았다.

세계유산 백제역사유적지구의 지역활성화 전략- 익산을 중심으로 -

In July 2015, the remains of Mireuksa temple and Wanggungri, located in Geumma-myeon and Wanggung-myeon of Iksan city, were listed as World Heritage sites. As of 2017, Iksan city, has a task to achieve visible achievement of regional revitalization through world heritage, as it marks its second anniversary on World Heritage List. In particular, Iksan City is a designated ancient capital area along with Gyeongju, Gongju, and Buyeo by the Law on Ancient Capital Preservation already enacted in 2004. Therefore, it is very important for the city to revitalize the area based on the preservation of historical heritage. If the city is to use these historic sites as a tourist attraction only as a tool to revitalize the local economy, ignoring the historical preservation and upbringing project or the World Heritage Project of the city, the risk of losing authenticity as a world heritage city is very high. In this article, I examine the direction of regional revitalization of the World Heritage cities from the viewpoint of 'local residents', 'sustainability' and 'historical city'. Then, what strategies should be approached to revitalize the World Heritage City Iksan, after looking at the case of Shirakawago and Kyoto. From a regional activation point of view, a systematic strategy is needed because it is still in its infancy. In order to revitalize the region, it is necessary to have a fusion strategy between the business complex, the content complex, and the human resource. Considering the regional characteristics and social and cultural characteristics of Iksan, preservation and utilization should be carried out without duplication of various ongoing projects. On the other hand, archaic and storytelling materials can attract the visitors if they meet the digital technology through the fusion of contents. And human resources are of the utmost importance for this work. While utilizing local residents as major human resources, it is necessary to have a combined strategy of human resources that Iksan City possesses in order to strengthen their capabilities and expand their vitality. 익산시 금마면과 왕궁면에 있는 미륵사지와 왕궁리유적이 2015년 세계유산으로 등재되었다. 세계유산등재 2년을 맞이하는 2017년 현재, 세계유산도시 익산은 세계유산을 통하여 지역활성화라는 가시적 성과를 거두어야 할 과제를 안고 있다. 특히 익산시는 이미 2004년에 제정된 고도보존법에 의해 경주, 공주, 부여와 함께 고도로 지정된 지역이기 때문에 역사유산의 보존을 기본으로 한 지역활성화가 중요한 숙제이다. 고도보존육성사업이나 세계유산사업이 도시가 지니고 있는 역사성을 무시한 채 단지 관광지로 개발하여 지역경제를 활성화시키는 도구로만 활용한다면 세계유산도시로서의 진정성을 잃게 될 위험성이 매우 높다. 본고에서는 세계유산도시의 지역활성화 방향을 ‘지역주민’과 ‘지속가능성’, 그리고 ‘역사도시’라는 관점에서 살펴본 후, 주민의 적극적인 참여를 통하여 지역이 활성화된 일본의 시라카와고와 교토의 사례, 그리고 세계유산도시 익산이 지역을 활성화하기 위해서 어떠한 전략으로 접근하여야 하는지 등에 대하여 검토해 보았다. 지역활성화라는 관점에서 보면 아직은 초기단계이기 때문에 체계적인 전략이 필요하다. 지역활성화를 위하여 사업간의 융복합, 콘텐츠간의 융복합, 인적자원간의 융복합 전략이 필요한 것으로 보았다. 익산이 처한 지역적 특성과 사회적, 문화적 특성을 고려하여 현재 진행되고 있는 다양한 사업들이 중복되지 않으면서 보존과 활용을 진행하여야 한다. 한편 콘텐츠간의 융복합을 통하여 잠자고 있는 고고자료와 이야기자료가 디지털 기술을 만나 내방객의 흥미를 유발할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 작업이 추진되는 데에는 무엇보다도 인적 자원이 중요하다. 지역주민이 중심이기는 하지만, 그들의 역량을 강화하고 활동력을 확장시키는 데에는 익산시가 가지고 있는 인적자원의 융복합 전략이 필요하다.

익산 세계유산 자원의 활용과 주민 참여

The fundamental purport of the world heritage system lies in carefully preserving the property inherited from ancestors and passing it on descendants as it were. On the part of the local residents and self-governing body who have been actively pushing forward to registration of world heritage, focus is placed rather on the effect of grand scale integrity of residents and tourism which can promote and activate local economy thanks to increased number of tourists visiting the place. Such expectation is fully evidenced by the case of the residents in Yangdong village in Gyeongju who, according to the analysis, are known to eagerly want to see their living quality improved generally from registration of their resources as the world heritage. In fact, however, it is not a matter of little account to deal with the issues likely to derive from registration of the world heritage including but not limited to surprising increase of tourists visiting the designated place, consequent problems to protect the heritage, increase in troubles of residents, etc. Besides, the registration itself does not always result in the increase of tourists and activation of local economy. The foremost issue of all confronted in this connection must be the task to bring in positive effects for the benefit of residents from utilizing the registered heritage. Following the registration in 2015 of Wanggung-ri relics and the Mireuk Temple site as world heritage, Iksan too has the same serious problems to solve like, for instance, preservation and management of the heritage, activation and improvement of local residents' living standard and utilization of cultural assets inherited. It should also be taken into account who would develop what contents by utilizing which cultural inheritance, who would operate the contents once developed and whether they could succeed. Lots of cases eloquently speak that it is the residents who should counterattack those issues as the central force. In the present study, attempts are made to investigate, first of all, the domestic as well as overseas cases in which the residents in the cities designated as the world heritage took part in utilizing the cultural inheritances. It is also examined what are the historical and cultural conditions of Iksan and what efforts should be made to make it reborn as a sustaining city on the occasion of registration as the world heritage city. In conclusion, it is tried to find what measures should be worked out to invite the residents to participate in utilization of historical as well as cultural heritages. 본 논고는 세계유산 등재 1년을 맞이하는 익산의 세계유산이 좀 더 많은 사람들에게 다가가고, 이를 통하여 지역 주민의 삶의 질도 향상되며, 지역 경제에도 도움이 될 수 있는 방안이 무엇인지를 검토하기 위한 것이다. 미륵사지와 왕궁리유적이 2015년에 세계유산으로 등재된 익산에는 이 외에도 제석사지, 익산쌍릉을 비롯한 다양한 백제문화유산이 산재하여 있다. 그러나 주민들이 밀집하고 있는 중심지가 아닌 외곽지역에 위치하고 있어서 타지역 방문자는 물론 지역 내의 주민들에게도 쉽게 찾아가기 어려운 실정이다. 세계유산은 단지 등재에 목적이 있는 것이 아니라 이를 통하여 유산을 보전 관리하여 후손에게 물려줄 뿐만 아니라 유산과 함께 살아가는 주민들의 삶에 긍정적 효과를 미치는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 세계유산의 활용에 주민들의 적극적인 참여가 중요한 관건이 된다. 이에 국내의 안동 하회마을과 화순 고인돌유적, 그리고 일본의 시라카와고합장촌과 영국의 블래나번 산업경관 등의 세계유산지역에서 주민참여가 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지를 검토함으로써, 익산 세계유산의 활용에 주민들의 어떻게 참여할 것인가의 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 주민들의 원활한 참여를 위하여 교통편이나 네트워크, 시민교육 등 인프라 구축이 필요하며, 둘째, 지역 주민을 지역문화해설사, 문화재지킴이, 이야기할머니 등으로 양성하거나, 고고유적과 연계한 일자리 창출을 꾀하는 등 문화유산의 보존과 활용을 주민들이 앞장서서 할 수 있는 시스템을 만들 필요가 있으며, 셋째, 주민들의 참여를 조직적이고 계획적으로 추진할 수 있는 통합적 관리센터를 운영할 필요가 있다. 세계유산의 보전과 관리, 그리고 활용은 전문가나 행정가들만의 몫이 아니고, 세계유산과 함께 살아가는 주민들이 함께 할 때 최대의 효과가 나타날 것이기 때문에 이에 대한 적극적인 노력이 필요하다.

역사도시 고도의 보존과 세계유산

세계유산으로 등재되어 있는 경주나 공주, 부여, 익산 등은 오랜 역사문화자원과 역사문화정체성을 지 니고 있는 역사도시로서, 2004년에는 고도보존법에 의하여 지정된 고도이다. 고도보존법은 우리나라에 있는 역사도시 중 그 역사적 문화적 중요성을 차지하고 있는 옛 도읍을 보존, 육성하기 위하여 만든 특별 법이다. 이 법에 의해서 4대 고도는 세계유산으로 등재되면서 그 도시가 지닌 역사적 가치를 더욱 더 드러 낼 수 있게 되었으며, 이 가치가 더욱 잘 드러날 수 있도록 정비 보존되고 있다. 이러한 점을 볼 때, 역사도시의 보존에 있어서 세계유산의 등재는 중요한 계기점이 될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 실제로 세계유산에 등재되어 있는 역사도시의 비중을 보더라도 이러한 점은 충분이 유추가능하 다. 따라서 향후 세계유산 등재를 준비하고 있는 역사도시들은 이미 지정된 역사도시들이 주안점을 두었 던 부분을 눈여겨 볼 필요가 있다. 본고에서는 역사도시를 보존하기 위한 그동안의 국제적 노력을 살펴보고, 역사도시 고도의 보존에 세계 유산 등재가 가지는 의미와 상관성, 그리고 역사도시의 세계유산 등재에 있어서 어떠한 점에 주안점을 둘 것인지 등에 대해서 간단하게 살펴보고자 한다.

브랜드 애착이 불일치 확장제품의 광고효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate advertising can influence consumer's attitude of incongruent brand extensions. Message of advertising should foster greater elaboration that in turn should generally bolster incongruent extension judgements. In this study extensions were manipulated such that they were moderately incongruent, and highly incongruent extension. And advertisement types were manipulated relational ad and elaborational ad. This paper used a 2X2X2 between subject experiment design on the basis of ad type(relational ad vs. elaborational ad), incongruent extension level(moderately incongruent vs. highly incongruent), brand attachment level(low brand attachment vs. high brand attachment), and then measured consumer's attitude on incongruent brand extensions. The research findings are as follows: First, there was no significant differences in the interaction effect of incongruent extension level and brand attachment level. In high-attachment consumer group appraised positively incongruent brand extension because of their close relationship with their parent brand, the regardless of incongruent extension level. Second, there was significant three-way interaction effect among incongruent extensions level, advertising type, and brand attachment level. When the moderately incongruent extensions, with low-brand attachment level, the elaborational advertisement influence more effectively than rational ad. However, in high incongruent extension level, there was no significant differences in consumer evaluation of brand attachment level by ad type. 본 연구는 소비자특성에 따라 광고유형이 불일치 브랜드 확장제품에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보기 위하여 브랜 드 애착과 광고유형에 따라 불일치 확장제품에 대한 평가의 차이를 검증하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 불일치 확장 은 적정한 불일치 확장과 높은 불일치 확장으로, 광고유형은 정교화 광고와 관련성 광고로 조작적 정의하여 브랜 드 애착 수준에 따른 불일치 확장제품에 대한 소비자평가를 살펴보았다. 즉, 불일치 확장(적정한 불일치 확장 vs. 높은 불일치 확장), 광고유형(정교화 광고 vs. 관련성 광고), 브랜드 애착(낮은 브랜드 애착 vs. 높은 브랜드 애착)을 적용한 2X2X2 집단 간 실험설계를 사용하여 불일치 브랜드 확장에 대한 소비자평가를 측정하였다. 따라 서 본 연구의 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 불일치 확장정도에 따른 확장제품의 소비자평가 차이는 브랜드 애착 정도에 따라 차이가 나타날 것이라 는 가설은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 브랜드 애착의 정도가 큰 소비자집단의 경우 소비자들은 모 브랜드와 의 밀접한 관계를 때문에 불일치 정도에 관계없이 확장제품에 대해 긍정적인 평가를 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 광고유형과 불일치 확장과 브랜드 애착 여부에 따라 확장제품의 소비자 평가에 어떠한 차이가 있는 지를 검증한 결과 세 변인 간 상호작용효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 불일치 확장정도에 따른 광고유형 선택이 브랜드 애착정도에 영향을 받는다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 우선 적정한 불일치 확장에서 낮은 브랜드 애착인 경우 정교화 광고가 관련성 광고보다 확장제품에 대한 소비자평가가 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 브랜드 애착이 높은 경우에는 정교화 광고와 관련성 광고에 따라 소비자평가의 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 높은 불일치 확장에서 브랜드 애착과 광고유형에 따른 소비자평가의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 브랜드 애착과 광고유형에 따른 소 비자평가에 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었다.

부적합 브랜드 확장 시 광고유형이 소비자평가에 미치는 효과: 부적합 확장의 수준과 자아일치성을 중심으로
