        Purpose; Nursing students are exposed to more various stressful situations throughout the nursing academic courses. Considering the academically stressful environment of nursing course, it is very important to know the cause of nursing student's stress, personality resource and stress outcomes for helping them to manage stress and to accomplish academic task as a helper who is the nurse educator. So this research tried to define that what is different to perceive stressor and stress reaction are activated by which stressor with different personal characteristics. And two scores of stressor were compared to know the relation between five categories of stressor and self-efficacy level. Results; Using raw score; the lower self-efficacy had higher stressor on all five categories and higher on negative emotional reaction. There were significantly correlated in all five categories of stressor and negative mental health. Using relative score; the higher self-efficacy had the higher self-imposed stressor. Especially, there was negative correlation between the self-imposed stressor and negative emotional reaction. It means that the higher self-efficacy push themselves to achieve what they want. Therefore when they were faced with achievement-related events reported decreases in the experience of anger. Conclusion: The relative score of stressor yield a different perspective to understand the relation between stressor and negative mental health depend on self-efficacy leve

        만성관절염 환자의 동통, 불편감, 우울과 대응양상의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to assess pain, discomfort, depression and coping patterns and the relations between these in chronic arthritis patients. The sampling method was a purposive sampling technique. 1) Who have been diagnosed as having chronic arthritis and. 2) Who were at the out patients clinic of rheumatoid arthritis departments of one University hospital in Seoul between September, 11, 1993 to September, 18, 1993. The instruments used for this study were Graphic Rating Scales of pain, discomfort level of the activities of daily living(ADL) developed by Lee, Eun Ok and The Beck Depression inventory. The research used to measure coping patterns was a tool developed by the present study researcher. Analysis of data was done frequency, Pearson correlation coefficients, ANOVA, regression and ANCOVA. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. Female exceed male patients in number and onset of joint pain were more prevalent in the age groups of the 40s and the 50s. The average duration of suffering from the pain were seven years six months. 2. The mean pain score : The mean sensory score was 119mm and the affective score was 109mm. 3. The discomfort level of ADL, the mean score was 2. 95 out of a possible score of 5.0 and depression syndrome subjects were 62.2%. 4. The coping responses for each pattern were as follows : 1) "Active coping" mean score was 2.28. 2) "Wishful coping" mean score was 2.89. 3) "Receptive coping" mean score was 3.31. 4) "Negative coping" mean score was 1.82. 5. Significant differences were found in age, religion, marriage status and the coping patterns of patients. 1) In the coping pattern of "receptive coping", the score of the age groups of the 50s were higher than that of 20s, and in the coping pattern of "negative coping", the score of the age groups of the 20s were higher than other age groups. 2) In the coping pattern of "wishful coping", the score of the christian were higher than other religion groups. 3) In the coping pattern of "negative coping", the score of the marrieds were lower than other groups. 6. Patients who scored low on factor 2, wishful coping were much more likely to report having pain sensory than patioets scoring high on this factor. 7. Patients who scored high on factor 4, negative coping, were significantly more likely to report having pain sensory than patients scoring high on this factor. Consider overall, chronic arthritis patients report using a wide varity of strategies, certain strategies such as receptive, wishful and active coping are used frequently, whereas other strategies such as negative coping are rarely used. One of the most important finding of present study is that the reported use of coping strategies is related to adjustment to a chronic pain problem. The present study suggests that negative coping is related to poor emotional adjustment as assessed by depression. but not pain ratings. Considered overall, this pattern of findings suggests that counseling patients to decreased their use of negative coping may be useful. The present study has a number of limitations. First, the sample is restricted to chronic arthritis patients. Weather chronic pain patients suffering from other types of pain syndromes use similar coping strategies needs to be determined in subsequent research. Second, the tool of coping pattern must be studied further to obtain reliability.

      • 노인의 인지기능과 상지기능의 관련성에 관한 체계적 고찰

        목적: 본 연구는 노인의 인지기능과 상지기능의 관련성을 알아보고자 하며, 근거 자료들을 P.I.C.O. 방법 에 따라 제시하였다. 연구방법: 2015년 11월부터 2016년 1월까지 연구를 진행하였으며 2000년 1월부터 2015년 10월까지 국외 학술지에 개재된 논문을 Medline과 PubMed를 통하여 검색하였다. 검색용어로는 elderly, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Mild cognitive impairment, age-related, aging, cognitive, upper extremity function, hand function, hand-grip strength, grip force, complex motor function, bimanual, dexterity, UE performance, coordination을 사용하였다. 연구결과: 본 고찰에 포함된 총 8개의 연구 중 7개의 연구에서 상지기능이 노화에 따라 영향을 받는다는 것으로 나타났고, 1개의 연구에서는 노화에는 영향을 받지 않으나, 쥐기 힘 및 성별에 의해 물건조작능 력에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 분석 결과 노인 및 치매환자의 인지기능이 상지기능에 영향을 미치며 상호 관련성을 보였다. 결론: 본 연구는 노인을 대상으로 인지기능이 상지기능에 미치는 영향 및 관련성을 알아보고자 하였으며, 인지기능 정도에 따른 작업치료 적용 및 중재기법을 선택하는데 근거 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 향후 국내 연구에서는 다양한 평가도구를 사용하고 질적 수준이 높은 연구들이 체계적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

        교수의 정(情)과 유머, 교수-학생 교환관계 및 학교몰입 간의 관계

        본 연구는 대학교 상황에서 지도교수의 정(情)과 유머, 교수-학생 교환관계 및 학교몰입 간의 관계를 확인하기 위해 실시되었으며, 필요한 자료는 지방에 입지한 한 대학교에 재학 중인 학부생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 수집하였다. 자료(n=439부)의 분석결과, 교수의 정(배려, 관심 및 허물없음)과 유머는 교수-학생 교환관계에 정(+)의 영향을 주며, 교수-학생 교환관계는 학생의 학교몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 교수가 배려와 관심을 갖고 학생들과 허물없이 지내고 그들에게 유머를 보다 많이 사용할수록 교수와 학생 간에 양질의 교환관계가 형성되고, 그로 인해 학생들의 학교에 대한 몰입이 높아진다는 것을 의미한다. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between cheong(情), humor, professor-student exchange quality, and school commitment. The data collected from 439 students through the administration of structured questionnaires are analyzed to exam the fitness of the research model and to test the hypotheses,A series of covariance structure analysis is performed by the AMOS package. The goodness of fit indices indicate that the fit of the model to the data is generally good. The results of this study exhibit that all types of cheong(情) and humor have significantly positive effects on professor-student exchange quality. In addition, the quality of professor-student exchange relationship has significantly positive effect on school commitment. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed and future research direction are outlined.

      • 글쓰기를 통한 교과내용에 대한 질문하기의 경험 분석

        Purpose: Critical thinking has become a focus related to development of society and education in several disciplines. The development of students' critical thinking abilities is also one of the greatest challenges facing contemporary nursing educators. Writing narratives and questioning are known as one way of many strategies to promote critical thinking. This study was conducted to gain an understanding of how writing question facilitate critical thinking. Methods: The participants were asked to write questions in relation to learned content from lectures in psychiatric nursing class. They wrote 10 narratives. In addition, they wrote a final narrative describing their experience of being in the study. The last narrative was interpreted by Van Kaam's phenomenology method which was derived from the philosophical notion of hermeneutics. Results: This study showed that writing questions and feedback affected students' critical thinking attitudes. Five themes emerged as critical thinking contexts: conscious effort for finding question, phrase the question, willing to solve the question, provoke interest and curiosity, and self-corrective. Conclusion: Writing questions and feedback could be used to trigger both students' and professors' critical thinking and communicate between students and professor.

        과제지향적 훈련이 치매 환자의 수단적 일상생활활동에 미치는 영향: 사례연구

        목적 : 본 연구는 치매환자에게 과제지향적 훈련이 수단적 일상생활활동에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 치매환자를 대상으로 사례연구를 실시하였다. 독립변인은 과제지향적 훈련으로 공통과제와 개인 과제로 주 3회 매 회기 45분씩 총 12회 실시되었다. 종속변인은 기억력(숫자외우기 검사)과 실행기능(길 만들기 검사 와 시계그리기 검사), 수단적 일상생활수행능력(AMPS)의 변화였다. 결과 : 과제지향적 훈련을 통한 대상자의 실행기능이 향상되었으며, 기억력은 유의하게 변화되지 않았다. 수단적 일상 생활 수행능력 결과는 임상적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 과제지향적 훈련이 치매환자의 수단적 일상생활활동에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

        긴장형 두통환자의 몰입수준에 따른 EMG바이오피드백 훈련과 이완 훈련의 효과

        The present study was designed to test the effects of EMG Biofeedback Training and Progressive Muscle Relaxation Training on headache reduction in tension headache patients' absorption capacity. "Absorption" is the ability of a person to immerse his or her awareness and imaginative and ideational capacities into periods of total attention. Thirty-two subjects, proved to be tension headache patients through Diagnosis Questionnaire, were divided randomly into four groups: Biofeedback group in high absorption, and relaxation group in low absorption. Baseline frontalis EMG level of 2 sessions was measured for 2 weeks. Biofeedback groups receive contingent EMG feedback with instruction to lower there muscle activity level using the auditory feedback for 7 weeks(8 sessions). Relaxation training groups were instructed to practice taped progressive muscle relaxation training procedure for 7 weeks(8 sessions). Follow up frontalis EMG level of 2 sessions was measured for 2 weeks. All subjects were required to record their daliy headache level for all treatment stages. Groups in high absorption were significantly reduced after progressive muscle relaxation training than EMG biofeedback training. Groups in low absorption were significantly improved after EMG biofeedback training. Groups in high absorption were significantly reduced following progressive relaxation training than EMG biofeedback training. Reason for these differences in responsiveness to the treatment were discussed. Finally, implications, restrictions and suggestions of the present study were discussed. 본 연구는 긴장형 두통환자의 몰입 수준에 따른 EMG 바이오피드백 훈련과 점진적 이완훈련을 통한 두통감소의 효과를 검증하기 위해서 행해졌다. 몰입은 자신의 자각과 상상적이고 관념화된 역량을 전체 주의를 몰두하게 해주는 개인의 재능이다. 두통진단질문지를 통해 긴장형 두통 환자로 입증된 32명의 참여자들이 무선적으로 네 집단에 할당되었다; 고몰입(바이오피드백 훈련집단, 점진적 이완훈련집단), 저몰입(바이오피드백훈련집단, 점진적 이완훈련 집단). 2회기의 기저선 전두엽 EMG 수준이 2주동안 측정되었다. 바이오피드백 집단은 7주동안(8회기) 청각 피드백을 이용하여 근육활동을 좀 더 낮추라는 지시와 함께 EMG 바이오피드백 훈련을 받았다. 점진적 이완 훈련 집단은 7주동안(8회기) 점진적 근육이완 훈련 절차가 녹음된 테잎을 들었다. 추적회기에서는 2회기의 전두엽 EMG 수준이 2주 동안 측정되었다. 모든 참여자들은 모든 치료 단계동안 두통일지를 기록하도록 요청되었다. 고몰입 집단에서는, EMG바이오피드백 훈련보다 점진적 이완훈련 후에 유의하게 더 두통감소를 보였다. 저몰입 집단은 EMG바이오피드백 훈련 후에 유의하게 더 두통감소를 더 보였다. 처치방법에 따른 이러한 차이의 이유가 논의되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점, 제한점 및 앞으로의 연구 제안점들이 논의되었다.

      • 대학생의 스트레스경험 및 대처행동 조사

        Stress is a universal experience and a component in all our lives. The impact of stress on university student's life is very important to guide students and help them to establish their identity. The perceived stress and the coping pattern for the problem plays a key role in how to manage the stress. This study was conducted to explore the perceived stress level, ranking, and coping patterns of university student and to examine their relation. The study data was gathered from 150 students. The results were that major perceived stresses were 'vision for future', 'ways of study', and 'conflict for entering the school'. 3 variables(vision of future, coping with department, value system) accounted for the total stress about 62.1%. Finally, the value system was the most important variable to understand the student's perceived stress. The freshman, woman and resident in dormitory perceived more stress on some areas. The higher they perceived stress, the more they used the avoidance coping pattern. In contrast, the lower they perceived stress, the more they used the active coping pattern.

      • 청소년의 자아탄력성, 자아존중감이 정신건강에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of the current study was to examine the effects of self-esteem and ego-resilience on mental health of adolescents. Methods: The participants were 228 boys in Grade 2 of middle school. The participants were asked to check questioners regarding topics including self-esteem, ego-resilience and mental health. The data were computed a regression equation to predict the effects of self-esteem and ego-resilience on mental health. Results: The only variable, self-esteem was better to predict mental health, finally the formula of regression equation was "Mental health=12.7 -.24×Self-esteem" and R2 was .334. Through the level of self-esteem can predict 33.4% of mental health status of adolescents. Conclusion: The level of self-esteem seems to play an essential role for estimating of mental health of adolescents. The study findings suggest that programs for promoting adolescents' self-esteem must be developed as a subject school-based health education.
