본 연구에서는 벽면에서의 압력은 압력측정 정치를 제작하여 측정하였으며 평 균유동 및 난류량들은 열선 유속계(hot wire system)을 사용하여 측정하였다. In the present study, the steady, incompressible, isothermal, developing flow in a 90.deg. rectangular cross sectional strongly curved duct with aspect ratio 1:1.5 and Reynolds number of 9.4*10$^{4}$ has been investigated. Measurements of components of mean velocities, pressures, and corresponding components of the Reynolds stress tensor are obtained with a hot-wire anemometer and pitot tube. In general, flow in a curved duct is characterized by the secondary vortices which are driven mainly by centrifugal force-radial pressure gradient imbalance, and the stress field stabilizing effects near the convex wall and destablizing effects close to the concave wall. It was found that the secondary mean velocities attain values up to 39% of the bulk velocity and are largely responsible for the convections of Reynolds stress in the cross stream plane. Therefor upstream of the bend the Reynolds stress are low. Corresponding to the small boundary layer thickness. At successive planes, large values of Reynolds stress were observed near the concave surface and the side wall.

An experimental study has been made for the dispersion phenomena by a stochastic model in a turbulent pipe flow. Local instantaneous passage of suspended solid particles were recorded in two dimensions, employing a periscopic system coupled vidicon camera. Probability density of passage was calculated. Second moment shows qualitatively that dispersive action is dependent on particle's geometric characteristics in vertical pipe flow. In case that density of the solid particles is larger than that of liquid, particles have a tendency to approach from the center of pipe to the wall, and in the contrary case the approach the center of pipe. It seems that there exists a field of radial accelerations, centrifugal or centripetal according to the sign of density difference between two phases.

본 연구에서는 제어함수를 수식으로부터 유도하여 자동적인 격자간격제어가 가능한 "근사직교 경계고정곡선좌표계"를 생성하는 새로운 방법을 제시하여 2차원영역 에 대한 그 적용을 논의하고자 한다. 논의하고자 한다. In the present study, a new method of generating a nearly orthogonal boundary-fitted coordinate systems with automatic grid spacing control is introduced. Applications of the method to a two dimensional simply-connected region is then demonstrated. The nearly orthogonal boundary-fitted method has the following features, (a) Strong grid control in the .eta.-direction can be made, (b) The generated boundary-fitted coordinates are nearly orthoronal, (c) Both the .xi.-and .eta.-direction control function are mathematically derived. Especially the .eta.-direction control function is derived under the assumption that the .eta.-direction grid spacing is by far smaller than the .xi.-direction grid spacing when the .eta.-direction grid line is strongly clustered. (d) The grid control functions are dynamically adjusted by the metric scale factors imposed on the boundary. The control function is fully automatic and eliminates the need of user manipulation of the control function.
다익 홴/스크롤 시스템의 형상변수와 내부 유동장 특성과의 관계

This paper describes that the size of inactive zone can be directly applied to design multiblade fan/scroll system. From the experimental studies using a five hole pitot tube and smoke test, it is found that the size of inactive zone has linear relations with the mean velocity of impeller inlet and cut-off angle gives a great influences to the fan efficiency. For the practical design, a function related with geometric parameters(i.e. inner radius, cord length, cut-off clearance and cut-off angle) of fan/scroll system is suggested. By using these formulas, the size and distribution of inactive zone can be predicted without the measurements through the full domain, it can be possible to use them to know the efficiency improvement for new model designed.
