투르크메니스탄에서 한국어 교육의 현황 및 발전 방향 연구 -아자디 세계언어 대학교와 아시가바트 세종학당을 중심으로-

이 연구는 한국과 투르크메니스탄의 수교 30주년을 맞이하여 투르크메니스탄에서 한국어 교육의 현황을 살펴본 다음에 한국어 교육이 가지는 문제점과 발전 방향에 대하여 논의하는 데 역점을 두었다. 투르크메니스탄 내 한국어 교육의 중심 기관인 아자디 세계언어 대학교와 아시가바트 세종학당에서 한국어와 한국 문화 교육은 다른 중앙아시아 국가 대비 평균 수준까지 발전했다. 그러나 이러한 교육의 발전에 있어 많은 문제점이 노정(露呈)되고 있으므로 본 연구에서는 지금까지 관심의 대상이 되지 못한 투르크메니스탄에서 아자디 세계언어 대학교와 아시가바트 세종학당을 중심으로 한국어 교육의 전반적인 현황을 살펴보았다. 그리고 한국어 교육 기관에서 현재 한국어 교육이 처한 근본적인 문제점을 기반으로 향후의 진흥책을 마련해 보았다. 이 연구에서는 투르크메니스탄에서 한국어 교육의 근본적인 문제와 발전 방향으로 주로 한국어 교육 과정의 개정, 한국어 교재 개발의 필요성, 한국어 교원 양성 그리고 그 외의 과제들을 심도 있게 짚어보았다. 투르크메니스탄에서 한국어 교육과 관련한 모든 문제는 한국어 교육의 발전을 위해 시급히 해결되어야 할 최소한의 사항이라고 판단되며 앞으로 한국어 교육이 장족으로 발전하는 계기가 되기를 기대한다. This investigation aims to examines the actual situation of the Korean language education in Turkmenistan to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Turkmenistan, and then discussing the problems and developmental directions of the Korean language education. Korean language and culture education have developed to an average level compared to other Central Asian countries at Institute of World Languages named after Azadi and King Sejong Institute in Ashgabat the central institutions of Korean language education in Turkmenistan. However, as many problems are being dealt with in the development of this education, this study examined the overall status of Korean language education, focused on Institute of World Languages named after Azadi and King Sejong Institute in Ashgabat, which have not been of interest so far. And based on the fundamental problems facing Korean language education in institutions, future promotion measures were prepared. In this study the fundamental problems and development directions of Korean language education in Turkmenistan mainly focused on the revision of the Korean language educational curriculum revision, the necessity of developing Korean textbooks, the Korean teacher training, and other tasks. All problems related to the Korean language education in Turkmenistan are considered to be the minimum that must be urgently solved for the development of the Korean language education, and hope that will make great strides in the future.
