        "여성 환경기술인으로서 애로점도 많지만 때론 환경을 책임진다는 자부심도 느낍니다." 충남대 화학과를 졸업하고 줄곧 산업현장의 환경지킴이역을 수행하고 있는 류희경 환경기술인은 환경인 비젼에 대해 의미있는 한마디를 던졌다. 그는 또 현실의 환경정책과 환경기술인력 수급현황에 대해서도 다소 볼멘소리로 일관했다. 후배들에게 귀감이 되고 환경기술인들의 위상제고를 위해 오늘도 맡은바 책임을 묵묵히 수행하고 있는 류희경 여성 환경기술인을 지난 27일 그의 사무실에서 만나 허심탄회한 대화를 가졌다.

        한반도 서해안 고창 하전리 일대 제4기 후기 해안단구의 발달

        This study investigates the distribution and developmental characteristics of the late Quaternary marine terraces in Hajeon-ri, Gochang-gun in the western coast of the Korean Peninsula. The altitudes of the first and second terraces are 8~13m and 17~23m, respectively, from a regional high sea-level. As a result of OSL(Optically Stimulated Luminescence) and IRSL(Infra-red stimulated Luminescence) dating, the depositional ages of the second marine terrace are estimated as 189.53±5.19ka BP, indicating that the second terrace was formed during the penultimate interglacial period (MIS 7). The silt deposits overlying the first and second terrace surfaces are likely to have originated from paleo-tidal flat sediments based on their depositional facies and the results of geochemical analysis.

        This study attempted to reflect the traces of progress of home economics and to inquire further into a future direction for the advanced college-level home economics education. The Study of college-level home economics today with the history of over one century in the world and near half of a century in Korea is now at the corner of transformation having palpable perception of the redical changes in such aspects as our pattern of life and structure of consciousness. At this situation the presentation of a new direction through extensive study in to home economics of Korea was required to lead it to meeting the pressing needs of rapidly changing society. with this purpose in mind materials were gathered through various method like inquiry of literature related, interview with the home economists, and the questionnaire. The results extracted from this attempt are as follows: 1. Aa a result of steady growth for almost one hundred years the territory of home economics, of which main focus was only on the individual and home life in the early days of its advancement, is now in the general tendency of expansion to the level of welfare of whole human being throughout the world. 2. The education of home economics in a true sense could not be realized on account of conservatism such as Confucianism before the Japanese annexation of Korea, and the effacement policy of Korean traditional culture under the Japanese colonial rule. After the restoration of the capital and social stability in the later years of 1950s', home economics in korea under the profound American influence has made rapid progress with the sending of students abroad, the frequent exchange of academical persons with foreign universities and with the increase in the number of colleges and in the population of studying it. 3. Observing the present situation of the college education of home economics, succeeding points should be put forward. First, it is reasonable to increase the statutory number of students according to the educational capacity of respective colleges. Second, the high school teacher appointment system now in force is impeditive to the participle of the competent teachers of private universities. Hence, once they are given the qualification, the employment of teachers based on the strict ability first principle without any discrimination in what colleges they are graduated from, national or private, ordinary or teacher's college, would be desirable for the national education. Third, under the present system the students of the department of fashion design, are conferred, when they graduate, the bachelor of home economics and the qualification for high school home economics teacher, whereas they apply at the preliminary exam for college for the arts division and complete the art course curriculum in the college. The practice of a proper policy to remove this contradictory disparity between the curriculum accomplished and the nature of degree obtained is immediately required. Fourth, the sincere educational attitude and unceasing posture of strenuous study of professors themselves, the effort for the acquisition of higher degrees by professors, and the reinforcement of the faculty in proportion to the number of students are demanded. 4. Estimating the education of home economics in Korea from the educational view-point, it is to be criticized for the lack of educational philosophy, for being stolid of studies, it gives an impression that the preponderance was bestowed on natural science. And there needs more active work of studying as books, facilities and the supply of research fund are in a very insufficient state. In the aspect of social service, the growth of home economics seems retarded by failing to open the concrete way for serving the community. 5. The trend in America to changing the name of college of home economics may as well not be considered in this stage since nothing has been changed till now in the fundamental idea or the kernel of home economics. It seems certain that the sudden change in the name would bring no result but generating a confusion. 6. Home economics of modern society must convey the new information and knowledge useful for living to the whole society effectively through publicity, and the active participation of the home economics majoring students in framing and bringing out this program for publicity is required.

        국내단행본 원문정보서비스의 경제적 가치 측정에 관한 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 도서관이 데이터베이스 구축에 많은 비용을 투자할 가치가 있는지를 결정하기 위하여 원문정보서비스의 경제적 가치를 측정하는 것이다. 경제적 가치 측정을 위하여 조건부가치측정법을 적용하였다. 비시장재인 국내단행본 원문정보서비스의 가치를 측정하기 위해 가상시나리오를 설계하고 설문의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해 사전조사와 전문가의 검토, 질문방법으로 이중양분선택형을 선택하였다. 연구 결과, 국내단행본 원문정보서비스에 대해 이용자 1인당 지불하고자 하는 사용가치는 1책당 836원, 비사용가치는 연간 236원으로 측정되었다. 대학생 전체의 연간 경제적 총 가치는 831.8억원으로 산출되었다. The purpose of this study is to measure economic value of full-text information services in order to determine whether it is worth for libraries to invest a large amount of money in constructing database to begin with. The study applied an contingent valuation method to measure its economic value. The imaginary scenarios are designed for estimation the value of Non-market-goods, estimation in advance and experts investigation are needed for rising the confidence level, double-bounded dichotomous choice is chosen in question method. The use value, which one user is willing to pay for domestic monograph full-text information services, was 836 won per one monograph. And, the annual non-use value was 236 won. The total annual economic value of all the students was 831 billion won.

        동공 크기와 각막곡률 측정에 대한 IOL Master 700의 신뢰성 평가

        목적: IOL Master 700으로 측정한 동공 크기와 각막곡률을, 비디오 동공 크기 측정기와 자동각막곡률검사기로 측정한 값과 비교하여 유용성을 평가하고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 소아 50명, 100안을 대상으로 IOL Master 700과 비디오 동공 크기 측정기로 동공 크기를 측정하고, IOL Master 700과 자동각막곡률검사기로 수평 각막곡률과 수직 각막곡률을 측정하였다. 측정 방법들의 비교는 paired t-test와 피어슨 상관관계 분석을 이용하였고, 측정 방법 간의 일치도는 Bland Altman plot와 급내상관계수를 통해 나타내었다. 결과: 동공 크기는 IOL Master 700과 비디오 동공 크기 측정기로 측정한 값이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 수직 각막곡률 또한 IOL Master 700과 자동각막곡률검사기로 측정한 값이 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 반면 수평 각막곡률은 IOL Master 700과 자동각막곡률검사기로 측정한 값이 유의한 차이가 있었으며, IOL Master 700으로 측정한 값이 평균 우안 0.105 diopters (D), 좌안 0.130 D만큼 더 컸다(p<0.05). 결론: 협조도가 떨어지는 소아에서, IOL Master 700은 동공 크기와 각막곡률을 동시에 측정할 수 있는 신뢰할 수 있는 유용한 검사 기구가 될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. Purpose: To compare IOL Master 700 with autokeratometer and video pupillometer in measurement of pupil diameter and corneal curvature. Methods: Pupil diameter were measured with IOL Master 700 and video pupilometer, horizontal keratometry and vertical keratometry were measured with IOL Master 700 and autokeratometer in 100 eyes of 50 children. Paired t-test and Pearson s correlation analysis were used to compare the differences among the devices. Agreement between measurement was analyzed using Bland Altman plot and intraclass correlation coefficient. Results: Comparing IOL Master 700 and video pupilometer for pupil diameter, there was no significant difference (p > 0.05). There was also no significant difference between IOL Master 700 and autokeratometer in measurement of vertical keratometry (p > 0.05). However, regarding horizontal keratometry there was significant difference between IOL Master 700 and autokeratometer, horizontal keratometry measured with IOL Master 700 was steeper than with auto keratometer, +0.105 diopters (D) in right eye and +0.130 D in left eye (p < 0.05). Conclusions: There was good agreement between IOL Master 700 and comparator instruments in regards to pupil diameter and corneal curvature. IOL Master 700 can be helpful in uncooperative children for measuring pupil diameter and corneal curvature at the same time.

        기획 주제 : 평생 학습 시대의 독서 ; 평생 학습의 장으로서 도서관 독서프로그램 고찰

        본고에서는 우리나라 교육의 문제점을 입시위주의 암기교육으로 보고, 평생 학습의 장으로서 도서관이 창의교육의 방안으로서 독서프로그램 개발을 논의하고 있다. 우리나라의 독서실태로서 연평균 독서율은 73%로 조사되고 있으나, 한국인의 주당 독서시간은 3.1시간으로 적게 나타났다. 이러한 열악한 독서실태를 인식하고, 문화체육관광부는 독서 환경을 개선하고 독서문화진흥을 위한 정책으로서, ``도서관발전종합계획``(2009-2013), ``독서문화진흥계획``을 발표하였다. 도서관을 통한 독서프로그램으로 도서관을 이용하는 전 계층을 대상으로 하는 생애주기별 독서프로그램을 제시하였다. 영유아 대상의 ``북 스타트``독서프로그램, 어린이와 청소년의 독서 수준에 따른 독서 프로그램, 주부·직장인 등 성인 계층별 독서프로그램, 장애인·다문화인·군장병 등으로 정보소외계층의 맞춤형 독서프로그램을 제시하였다. 평생학습의 장으로서 도서관의 독서를 논하는 이유는 도서관에 책이 있기 때문이다. 모든 계층이 도서관을 통해서 독서하는 문화를 만들기 위하여, 국가, 지방자치단체, 학교 등은 독서프로그램을 개발하는데 노력을 아끼지 말아야 한다. This paper will discuss development of reading program as life time learning field of library. The statistics tell us that our countries annual reading rate is 73%. However, the weekly reading time of average korean shows 3.1 hours which is very low. Because of this low reading situation of current time being, The ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced enrichment of reading atmosphere Through libraries reading program which will cover all regarded varieties library users reading program was suggested. Book start program for infant, reading program of various level of children and young people, housewives, company workers and other leveler of adult readers and disabled, multi cultural peoples, soldiers are all the object of this adaptable reading program. The reason for the discussion of life time learning field as library is that there are books in the library. For all levels of readers of different cultural trend library, state, school should all do their parts to develope the reading program.
